Obama administration stoops to new low

The Obama administration will leave a lasting stain on America that will take years to wipe clean by Dan Bongino at The Conservative Review

Just when you think they've reached the bottom, they continue to set the bar lower for both ethics and transparency. The saddest part of this piece is that my reference to a new low for conduct isn't even about President Obama's inexcusable and unexplainable decision to skip the funeral of Justice Antonin Scalia. Nope; this piece is about another low bar for conduct.

Here's the latest bit of disturbing behavior. As the Wall Street Journal reported this week, the Obama administration has been "waging a seven-year war on for-profit colleges."

This "war" on for-profit colleges such as the University of Phoenix is being fought for a few reasons.
First, it's occurring because the Obama administration believes in a centrally-planned economy and despises both free markets and capitalism and the words "for-profit" are a curse to them.
Second, the Obama administration doesn't want to lose the control over the higher education system which they've worked hard to grab through their takeover of the college student-loan process.
This disgusting example of government overreach and regulatory harassment has, unsurprisingly, decimated the stock value of the parent company of the University of Phoenix because as the college has hemorrhaged students due to the restrictions imposed upon them from the Obama administration's regulatory onslaught.
So who magically comes to the rescue to buy the now near-valueless company at a huge discount?

Barack Obama's basketball buddy Marty Nesbitt and his private equity firm, which was conveniently founded right after Barack Obama's re-election.

(Aside: to any congressional staff member reading this, if you check the White House visitor logs and East Wing elevator manifests you'll see Marty Nesbitt is a frequent White House guest. Just a thought if you care to see what's really going on.)
