1st Navy SEAL killed in Iraq

Marc Alan Lee (March 20, 1978 - August 2, 2006), was a United States Navy SEAL.

He was the first SEAL to lose his life in Operation Iraqi Freedom when he was killed in a fierce firefight while on patrol against insurgents in Ramadi.

Lee was posthumously awarded the Silver Star, the Bronze Star with Valor and the Purple Heart.

The new series Live to Tell will premier with Marc Lee's heroic story on History Channel January 10th at 10pm ET.

As a Mother one of the heart wrenching things is to see your child's name on a headstone, granite wall, in a movie or a book, but their heroic stories need to be told. This documentary gives a detailed glimpse of who Marc was and his heroic actions with his Charlie Platoon teammates.

Please join us as we continue to honor Marc and keep his memory alive. You can help AMW fulfill it's mission to support our troops and families of the fallen by purchasing Marc's Memorial gear and books that share more about him or making a donation.

We founded America's Mighty Warriors in response to Marc's amazing 'Last Letter Home' which has inspired millions of lives around the world. Marc''s name means "Mighty Warrior," but our foundation isn't called Mighty Warrior" as it is about all of our troops who have served and sacrificed greatly for our freedoms. We know who pays that price for the freedoms we enjoy everyday.

Live your life worthy of their sacrifices!
