Israelis know how to build a wall

From the fair use files of Kara Pendleton at the Independent Journal

On his recent two-week mission to Moscow and Israel, Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. noticed something interesting about Israel’s border wall.

Despite having good relations with Jordan, Israel still has this wall in place along the Syria and Lebanon borders. Clarke said of Israel’s high, largely cement, seamless wall:
“They know how to protect the border. I saw it. I was there.

But if there’s a breach to that fence, they investigate quickly. They don’t investigate like we do. They don’t send agents down to interview. And then you know what the next move is? Shoot it. So, it’s ‘see it, quickly investigate, and shoot it.’ ‘Cause they’re not gonna take any chances.

And you know what? There are very few breaches to that wall because of that. Because anybody trying to go over that wall knows armed soldiers will be dispatched, not to arrest. They don’t play that game. They reasonably assume it’s a terrorist and they shoot and kill him.”
Clarke has been an outspoken critic of the Obama administration, particularly in matters of homeland security and terrorism.
