Obama honors black thug but not black hero

Whitehouse sends representatives to the funeral of the Ferguson thug by Ian Garia at Facebook

If You Needed Help, Who of the Two Would You Call Upon

On the left is my brother in arms, Chris Grant killed in action (KIA) on Oct0ber 20, 2013, while conducting operations in Helmand province of Afghanistan.

Not a single White House official was at his funeral.

On the right, as many of you know, is Michael Brown. This guy died after robbing a convenience store of some cigarettes at gun point and disobeyed commands of a police officer.

Three Whitehouse officials attended his funeral. This leaves me dumbfounded as to how stupid our Nation's priorities as a whole have gone down the drain and how far we have strayed from what our Nation was founded upon.

Case Closed says Missouri D.A.

Ferguson, Missouri (PTS) -- After months of waiting, the question was answered.

The Grand Jury uncovered NO tangible evidence to charge Darren Wilson for the death of teenager Michael Brown based on evidence from more than 60 witnesses.

The Grand Jury refused to indict given the possibility of 5 different charges ranging from premeditated murder down to a variation of manslaughter.

In conclusion, the words CASE CLOSED were used by the Missouri District Attorney.

Death penalty off the table for black attackers

Blatant racial hypocrisy: Death penalty off the table for black attackers charged in murder of white officer from the files of Colonel Allen B. West

The nation is walking on eggshells and the governor of Missouri has declared a state of emergency as we await the ruling from a Grand Jury hearing regarding the shooting death of Michael Brown by Ferguson Officer Darren Wilson.

It seems that the premise of our judicial system and individual rights of “innocent until proven guilty” has no standing in this case. And if the evidence is proven to support charges not being brought against Officer Wilson, why is it that we must fear riots? Recent pictures of the city of Ferguson make it look like folks are preparing for a hurricane.

However, in the midst of all this, there’s another interesting case, which clearly demonstrates the hypocrisy surrounding Ferguson.

As reported by Fox News “U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder has taken the death penalty off the table for four people charged in the gang-related slaying of a reserve Virginia police officer. Federal prosecutors said Friday that the four co-defendants will instead face the possibility of life in prison for their alleged role in the killing of Capt. Kevin Quick.”

“The 45-year-old Quick of Waynesboro was reported missing Feb. 1. His body was found several days later in Goochland County west of Richmond. The Daily Progress reports that authorities say the three siblings and another man charged all belong to the Bloods gang set 99 Goon Syndikate.

The four charged in May are Daniel Lamont Mathis, Shantai Monique Shelton, Mersadies Lachalle Shelton and Travis Leon Bell, also known as Kweli Uhuru.”

Yes, the Virginia reserve officer is white and the four assailants are black. I guess you haven’t heard about this story — hmm, wonder why? Could it there’s a double standard in America? Is it acceptable to gun down our law enforcement officers? Perhaps the family of Capt. Quick should go to the U.N. Committee on Torture and state their case.

And who is the “white” version of Al Sharpton to go out and rabble rouse the populace and incite them to riot? Will Attorney General Eric Holder visit with Capt. Quick’s family and how many White House officials attended the funeral of Capt. Quick?

Now of course, the liberal progressive left and their black compatriots will go apoplectic over these – because it’s embarrassing and reveals a prevailing truth. Why did Eric Holder interject himself in such a manner in the Virginia case? As reported by the Daily Progress,

“I know the attorney general takes these cases very seriously,” said Timothy J. Heaphy, who is prosecuting the case against siblings Daniel Mathis and Shantai and Mersadies Shelton, as well as Kweli Uhuru.

“Heaphy did not say whether he agreed with the decision or whether authorities have identified who fired the shot that killed Quick, 45, a new father who was last seen leaving his mother’s home in Afton, Va on Jan. 31.

He sent a text message to his girlfriend at 10:14 p.m. saying he was on his way to visit her and their infant daughter in Albemarle County, and another at 10:49 asking if she needed anything. That was the last anyone heard from Quick. His remains were discovered six days later in rural Goochland County.”

“The night Quick vanished, Mathis used Quick’s DuPont Community Credit Union card to withdraw $203 at an ATM in Fork Union, according to a search warrant initially sealed in federal court. By 3 a.m., when the siblings picked up a friend in Bumpass driving Quick’s silver Toyota 4Runner, the 20-year veteran of the Waynesboro reserve force was gone, the records state.

Surveillance records and witness interviews detailed in the warrant place the defendants with Quick’s debit card at banks in Charlottesville and Manassas in the following days. On Feb. 2, Mathis and Mersadies Shelton participated in a failed robbery in which one person was shot and another pistol whipped, the warrant states.”

So, where are the protests and riots? Where is the outrage over the senseless shooting of this reserve officer possibly related to a gang initiation?

Compare this to the reaction of the leftist media and the rabble rousers in Ferguson. Do these four savages deserve the death penalty? I think yes, for whatever reason they took the life of an innocent man, a law enforcement officer. And with such disregard that they used his credit and debit cards for their own pleasures as they drove around in his vehicle. I just have to ask, were his hands up?

Capt. Quick was last seen leaving his mother’s home on the way to his girlfriend and their newborn. He was not last seen assaulting a store owner and taking products. Yet, we know nothing of 45-year-old Capt. Kevin Quick.

Apparently, Quick’s crime was being a white man in America and not considered a victim — just someone who got what he deserved at the hands of society’s victims, young black men, gang members who have been badly treated and denied social justice. Are these four black assailants racists?

I hear there’s a bounty on the head of Ferguson officer Darren Wilson. What would happen if someone did the same against the four who “allegedly” shot Capt. Quick?

And does anyone truly wonder why race relations in America are in such poor shape? Here we have a black president, black attorney general, a black homeland security secretary, black national security advisor, and blacks are still ranting about no justice? So what justice was there for Capt. Kevin Quick? Well, it seems that’s just another example of the redefinition of America.

Call me Uncle Tom, Sellout, Oreo, or whatever you wish — y’all know this is wrong, and if you start any rioting in Ferguson, Missouri, then go riot for Virginia Captain Kevin Quick, and tell Eric Holder to reverse his decision. Of course you won’t, and that says it all.

Racism can be white or black

Racism Can Be White or Black from the Warning Signs of Alan Caruba at Facts-not-Fantasy

Know the Warning Signs from Alan Caruba at Facts-not-Fantasy

On Monday, Nov 17, the Governor of Missouri activated its National Guard “to support law enforcement during any period of unrest that might occur following the grand jury’s decision concerning the investigation into the death of Michael Brown.” He declared a state of emergency.

A grand jury verdict that is likely to exonerate officer Darren Wilson is assumed to require significant law enforcement because in August we witnessed the initial weeks of rioting, looting and arson in what has been described by police authorities as an organized effort.

When the subject of racism occurs, it is always in terms of white racism and rarely, if ever, discussed in terms of black racism.

However, racism is a two-way street and while the ill treatment African-Americans encountered as slaves and for a century thereafter before the Civil Rights Act in 1964 is surely cause for resentment the fact remains that black Americans have had fifty years, two generations, of opportunity and equality intended to redress the past.

What white Americans find it difficult to understand is why there are protests at this point. Don’t the lives of blacks who have been killed, as often as not by other blacks, have value too?

Why doesn’t the fact that the nation has a black President, a black Attorney General, a black Supreme Court justice, blacks in Congress, and ample evidence of the progress the black community has made since the 1964 Civil Rights Act was passed seem to make any difference?

Be Aware of the Caruba Warning Signs
The events in Ferguson are well known by now. Video confirmed that Michael Brown stole some cigarillos at the Ferguson Market and Liquors on August 9th and when one of the staff protested, he was threatened in a menacing manner by Brown, a very large young man.

The theft was swiftly reported to the police with a description that fit Brown. Not long after, Officer Wilson, driving alone, spoke to Brown and a companion, telling them to move away from the center of West Florissant Avenue.

At that point Brown began to scuffle with Wilson and forensic evidence showed that Wilson’s gun was fired twice in the police car during the struggle. Brown allegedly punched him repeatedly, leaving a swelling on his face. He attacked a police officer.

Wilson went after Brown to arrest him and when Brown turned on him he was shot six times. Reportedly, six black witnesses to the incident confirmed Officer Wilson’s account. The autopsy is said to have showed evidence of marijuana in Brown’s system. Brown was not armed, but his size and the assault on Officer Wilson constituted a threat to Wilson’s life.

What followed were weeks of demonstrations that quickly escalated in force, in arson and looting in addition to the confrontations between the protesters and the police. Missouri Governor Jay Nixon deployed the National Guard to help quell the disturbances.

In October the Ferguson Police Department handed over responsibility to the county police department which is larger and better equipped. At this point, all of the police who were called upon had protective gear and an arsenal of means to quell a riot.

Why did the shooting evoke such a reaction? Why did those involved in the demonstrations assume it was more than a white cop versus black suspect situation? The assumption among the protesters is that a white police officer had shot Brown for no reason other than racism.

Blacks (and whites) who commit crimes or who are suspected of doing so and who are seen to pose a lethal threat are killed by police during the course of any year. However, statistically blacks are more involved in crime, from minor to major, than whites.

According to the NAACP, “African Americans are incarcerated at nearly six times the rate of whites.” This is blamed on poverty, poor education, and other factors, but America has had wave after wave of immigrants come here, work hard, enter the middle class, and rise to success.

It is worth noting that the Ferguson police force has few blacks in its ranks. Of its 53 members, only three are black. Why? Is there something about being a police officer that is unappealing to blacks in Ferguson? This is a useful question given the fact that 67% of Ferguson’s residents are black.

Maybe we can just blame the demonstrations, the burning and looting of businesses on the fact that among the most dangerous U.S. cities, the Huffington Post just listed St. Louis as number four, dropping down from being number three last year.

“The city has the highest murder rate of any locale in the top five, with 38 murders per 100,000 people. Its overall violent crime rate is 1,594 violent crimes per 100,000 people.” Ferguson is a suburb of St. Louis, a city whose population is nearly half black.

The “demonstrators” and “protesters” in Ferguson are a disgrace. They have put hard working, law abiding blacks at risk of being lumped in with their behavior. That, regrettably, is how racism works.

If, however, you want to exploit the incident, you send the U.S. Attorney General to Ferguson to stir up the black racism that exists and you have the Department of Justice conduct both civil and criminal investigations.

If you want to exploit the incident, you have the Attorney General participate in planting a tree last Monday in the memory of Emmett Till, a teenager who was murdered in 1955 by white bigots and have him speak of young black men "who died senselessly," but Michael Brown died as the result of an assault on a police officer.

The grand jury has conducted its investigation and will likely find that a police officer lawfully defended himself against a young thug. That’s how our legal system works. And black racism is every bit as bad as white racism.

Ferguson Grand Jury - No Charges

All eyes on Ferguson grand jury as decision expected at any time appearing at FoxNews

Ferguson, MO Waits On Grand Jury Findings
Authorities in St. Louis County, Mo. continued preparations ahead of an expected grand jury decision on whether to charge a white police officer for the fatal August 9 shooting of a black teen in Ferguson.

Barricades have been placed around the St. Louis County Justice Center in Clayton, where the grand jury has been meeting and parking restrictions that were put into effect over the weekend are expected to remain in place Monday.

Some expected a decision to be announced this past weekend, but it did not come to pass. The grand jury was expected to reconvene Monday, but there has been no official confirmation that will be the case. The 12-person grand jury sets its own schedule depending upon when the members are available.

The lack of a decision and a scarcity of official communication about the case has left nerves frayed and many anticipating unrest no matter what the outcome.

Protesting on Sunday night, Reggie Cunningham said he doubted police officer Darren Wilson will be indicted and it seemed authorities were delaying an announcement "to spin this in the most positive way possible."

At 8:24pm central daylight time, the Missouri District Attorney said there would be no indictment of officer Darren Wilson based on evidence heard by the grand jury from more than 60 witnesses.
