U.S. Senator Richard Shelby (R-Alabama) released the following statement regarding Veterans Day:

Senator Richard Shelby (R-Alabama)
“Today I proudly join my colleagues and Americans across the country in paying tribute to our nation’s veterans and their families.

Without the selfless sacrifices of the courageous men and women in uniform, the freedoms we enjoy as Americans would not be possible.

“On Veterans Day and every day, we must remember that freedom comes at a great price, and that we owe our active duty and retired servicemen and women a debt of gratitude.

Our veterans’ unwavering commitment to defending security and prosperity should never be forgotten.”

In honor of Veterans Day, Senator Shelby is featuring several of Alabama’s military heroes on his website.

Eckrich and Albertsons honor military family

Watson Family Surprised With a New SUV

It was the surprise of a lifetime for the Watson family of Boise, Idaho when Eckrich, the makers of naturally hardwood smoked sausage and savory deli meats, partnered with Albertsons, Operation Homefront and former Boise State football player Ian Johnson, to present the family with a brand-new SUV, courtesy of Eckrich.

The Watsons were invited to attend a VIP breakfast before the annual Veterans Day parade in Boise when they were surprised by Johnson, a running back made famous for his winning play in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl.

Johnson stepped out of the SUV, which was then presented to the family on behalf of Eckrich. As a popular athlete in Boise, Johnson was honored to help present the new SUV, decorated in the colors of Eckrich with Albertsons and Operation Homefront logos. The vehicle was later part of the parade with the Watson family.

“I am proud to partner with Eckrich to honor the Watson family,” said Johnson. “It’s amazing what Eckrich has been doing over the last four years to support military families. Joining Eckrich to honor such a deserving family is an experience I will never forget.”

The gift of a new SUV is part of the ongoing campaign by Eckrich to honor, thank and support military families through its partnership with Operation Homefront, whose mission is to build strong, stable and secure military families. Eckrich, in its fourth year of partnership with Operation Homefront, has surpassed $1 million in donations since 2012.

“I’d like to thank Eckrich for all of the wonderful things that they've done for our military families,” said Bob Thomas, Chief Operating Officer, Operation Homefront. “We've had a great relationship with Eckrich over the last four years, and I can’t think of a better partner to have as Operation Homefront moves forward in our mission.”

Jannette Watson is a member of the U.S. Army Reserve. She was injured during combat medic training in Texas and is currently undergoing treatment. Jannette, her husband Richard, and their four children maintain a small farm in Boise.

“Eckrich is proud to honor military families across the country,” said Chuck Gitkin, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Smithfield Foods. “We are grateful that Albertsons and Ian share our passion for giving back to such deserving families. On behalf of Eckrich, we are pleased to provide the Watson family with a new SUV in appreciation for their sacrifice.”

Retired Military Generals' Message to America

Brigadier General Charles Jones
The AMERICANS strongly believe that life, liberty, citizenship and the pursuit of happiness are the unalienable RIGHTS of every American Citizen that cannot be taken or transferred.

However, not until We the People become brutally frank with ourselves and with each other will the Constitution be taken off the shelf and once again become operational. Only then can the Republic can be restored and preserved in its original ordained Constitutional Power and form.

We The People have suffered enormously since 1913 under the combined rule of two domineering political parties of 536 elected politicians along with those they have appointed. Tax and Spend, along with whatever it takes to rule, is the quest of one of the domineering parties.

In the opposing party, weak backbones, failing to stand up and lead for what a majority of citizen voters want, coupled with the elite of the party stealthily blending in with the tax and spend party, have destructively allowed the confiscation of far too much of the wages and retirement incomes from the citizens who pay income taxes.

These facts are now becoming more recognized with the most recent dastardly additions of: countless political deceptions, lies, national economic destruction, purposeful job-killing, the stealthful demise of America’s middle class, no Administration help for the massive unemployment of Black Americans, plus the politically purposeful illegal alien invasion of the United States.

Along with forty percent of the people within the fifty state borders who are receiving food stamps. This all is treason to each separate state and to the citizens within the several states and it is perpetuated by the elected and appointed inside the Washington DC beltway.

Major General Paul E. Vallely
The Constitution requires that all laws must be faithfully executed, but far too many are not and have not been – – – specifically by the Executive Branch. Nor has the Oversight Power of Congress been exercised to ensure Executive Leadership enforcement of United States laws.

These self-serving political failures have become destructive to the well-being, liberty and happiness of most American citizens. It must be recognized that “New Guards” for future personal safety and National Security must peacefully be put into place by citizens beginning with votes at the ballot box.

Failed leadership can no longer stand if the Constitution and the Republic are to be preserved for our children and all future generations.

A deep look has been taken into the several national crises by “The Americans” leadership who care greatly about the Republic, the People and the Constitution.

Necessary and workable solutions have been developed to help solve and fix what has without question stunted our Nation’s ability to clearly, legally and peacefully function as a Constitutional Republic.

Key National Issues that must be solved if the separate and collective
States of The United States of America are to become economically
solvent, remain peaceful and nationally secure at

Memorial Day 2015

From the Warning Signs of Alan Caruba at Facts-not-Fantasy

Know Alan Caruba's Warning Signs
We need to remind ourselves that Memorial Day is not just another three-day weekend or a day when all manner of sales are offered to those who want to go shopping.

It is a day set aside to honor the ultimate sacrifice of those who have fought to defend our nation and take military action in foreign nations. We honor, too, those who suffered wounds and returned home.

We like to think of America as a nation that has gone to war only when we had to, but a new book, “America Invades: How We’ve Invaded or Been Invaded with Almost Every Country on Earth” tells a different story based on history.

As documented by its authors, Christopher Kelly and Stuard Laycock, America, “has invaded or fought in eighty-four out of 194 countries (countries recognized by the United Nations and excluding the United States) in the world. That’s 43 percent of the total. And it hasn’t been militarily involved with just ninety or a hundred countries. It has had some form of military involvement with a spectacular 191 out of 194. That’s more than 98 percent.”

“Most people,” the authors note “would probably agree that much of what America has done around the world has clearly been wise and noble (as in helping liberate Europe from Nazi tyranny.) Some, however, have been wrong and/or unwise. And some of what America has done has been in-between. In some sense, it’s like looking at the history of one’s own family. And, indeed, all of it—the liberations, the fiascos, and follies—is, in some sense, part of the history of every American citizen.”

Facts-not-Fantasy
That’s why it is a good idea to pause on Memorial Day because as an American it is part of your history. “Americans are always hoping for peace but usually preparing for war” says the authors who remind us that “the American eagle is an ambivalent bird holding arrows in the talons of one foot and an olive branch in the other.”

Our natural instinct is for peace. Only aggressive nations, usually led by despots, want war. That is not a description of America. We have not, however, shied from war when the enemy was a well-defined aggressor.

“In the twenty-first century, the United States, though challenged by Russia and China, is the sole remaining superpower. The global responsibilities that we began to shoulder in the twentieth century seem today more burdensome than ever. The cost of being the world’s policeman seems exorbitant in terms of both lives and treasure.”

That’s why we need to remind ourselves that, as a former Secretary of Defense, Robert Gates, has said of America, “We are the indispensable nation.”

We have learned what happens when our President has retreated from the responsibility to deter war. Since leaving Iraq with no U.S. military ground support that nation which was stable at the end of our war there has come under attack by the Islamic State. The President’s efforts to reach a deal with Iran that would allow them to become a nuclear power is causing Arab states to regard the U.S. as abandoning them and could lead to a nuclear arms race in a part of the world that is far from stable.

The U.S. in the wake of World War Two has a vast network of bases and alliances that span the world. Many of those bases were created at the invitation of the host nation. The result, as the authors note is that “The U.S. military, but virtue of its global reach, is almost invariably the first to respond to natural disasters as they occur around the world. If not us, then who will?”

On Memorial Day we honor our sons and daughters who gave their lives when their nation called on them.

“Today the sacrifice of over 218,000 American servicemen and servicewomen is memorialized in military cemeteries in twenty-four different overseas cemeteries in eleven different countries. The boundaries of Jefferson’s Empire of Liberty, therefore, stretch around the world.”

We worry about the emergence of other world powers, but I doubt that Russia which lost 127 million of its people in World War Two or China which is focused on building an economy based heavily on world trade are serious wartime threats.

That does not, however, exclude the likelihood that events may cause the next President to conclude that the only way to put the lid on the Middle East is to return militarily to Iraq and to make it clear to Iran that its nuclear ambitions are untenable and unacceptable.

The ancient Romans knew a truth they share in the phrase, “Si vis pacem, para bellum.” If you want peace, plans for war.

About the only thing that is predictable is that somewhere in the world there will be new wars and, given its power and its responsibility, America may well be engaged in restoring the peace.

American military power in a steep decline

From the Warning Signs of Alan Caruba at Facts-not-Fantasy

Know Caruba's Warning Signs
“Eliminating the terrorists of today with force will not guarantee protection from the terrorists of tomorrow. We have to transform the environments that give birth to these movements…It may be training young people so they can get jobs…it may be working to eliminate corruption and promote the rule of law…”

The Obama administration proposal that a jobs program be created for the militants in the Middle East was met with appropriate derision because what the jihadists need is killing. That’s what they are doing to Christians, Jews and others in the Middle East and elsewhere.

The quote above is by John Kerry, the Secretary of State, and to be fair, his February 18 Wall Street Journal commentary began by saying “The rise of violent extremism represents the pre-eminent challenge of the young 21st Century.

Military force is a rational and often necessary response to the wanton slaughters of children, mass kidnappings of schoolgirls, and beheading of innocents. But military force along won’t achieve victory.”

Kerry is wrong. History as recent as the mid-20th century is proof enough that the military defeat of Nazi Germany and the Empire of Japan was the only thing that ended the threat they represented. He was also wrong when he told a congressional committee that the world is a safer place these days when it is clear to anyone it is not.

We are being led by people who live in some alternative universe where pixie dust and unicorns exist.

The real question the Obama administration has to answer is why, since he took office in 2009, has he been systematically reducing the military power of the United States? By pulling our troops out of Iraq he created a vacuum filled by the Islamic State (ISIS) that now threatens the entire Middle East and parts of North Africa. He has since curtailed plans to pull most of our troops out of Afghanistan.

Out of sight of Americans, however, the key personnel, the leaders on which our military depends, have been subject to a purge. General Paul Vallely (Ret) has warned that “Since Barack Obama has been in the White House, high ranking military officers have been removed from their positions at a rate that is absolutely unprecedented,” adding that “He’s intentionally weakening and gutting our military and reducing us as a superpower, and anyone in the ranks who disagrees or speaks out is being purged.”

In late February, 84 former U.S. government officials, retired U.S. military leaders, and national security experts sent an open letter to the House and Senate leadership asking them to work together to end the harm that the Budget Control Act and sequestration is inflicting on our Armed Forces.

They deemed the trillion dollars of required defense spending cuts “a grave and growing danger to our national security…as threats intensify across the globe.” The cuts “are undermining the readiness of our forces today and investment in the critical capabilities they will need tomorrow.”

“In the last three years, the Army’s strength has been cut by nearly 100,000 soldiers. The Navy’s contingency response force is at one-third the level of what it should be. Less than half of the Air Force’s combat squadrons are fully ready. Approximately half of the Marine Corps non-deployed units lack sufficient personnel, equipment, and training.”

These were facts set forth in the National Defense Panel’s July 2014 report. It warned that if sequestration takes effect in fiscal year 2016, the U.S. would be facing an “immediate readiness crisis.”

This lack of readiness was the subject of a Wall Street Journal commentary, “Europe’s Defense Wanes as the Putin Threat Grows” by Ian Birrell, so it is not just the United States that lacks sufficient troops and weapons in the event of a war.

Birrell noted that “With fewer than 100,000 full-time troops, Great Britain now has a smaller army than during the mid-19th-century Crimean War.” Other members of NATO have cut their defense budgets in recent years. He warned that “As we fight this new Cold War, Western leaders need to relearn the old lessons of crisis management and deterrence that defeated Mr. Putin’s Soviet predecessors—and relearn them quickly.”

Recall that Secretary Kerry has gone on record saying that “climate change” is the greatest threat the U.S. and the world faces. Little wonder that Chuck Hegel resigned as the former Secretary of Defense given the pressure he was under from a White House indifferent to the real problems and threats the U.S. faces.

In 2014 the Pentagon released a “Climate Change Adaptation Forecast” and any defense funds diverted to this plan were just that much less than needed for our troops in the field and the real needs of the U.S. military. Are they supposed to be fighting melting ice bergs or staying ready for potential military threats from China or Russia?

An example of the idiotic political correctness, scarce Pentagon resources are being diverted to a plan to generate 50% of the Navy’s energy needs from “alternative sources” by 2020, including $3.5 billion for biofuels. You cannot fight a global war if the Navy cannot swiftly and easily acquire oil to run its ships that are not nuclear-powered and fly its aircraft.

At the same time, the U.S. has been reducing its stockpile of nuclear arms. The State Department’s Rose Gottemoeller, under-secretary for arms control and international security, recently told a group “The U.S. commitment to achieving the peace and security of a world without nuclear weapons is unassailable.” She noted that the nation’s stockpile of active weapons is down 85% from maximum cold war levels, falling to 4,804 in 2013 from a high of 31,255, adding that “We still have more work to do.”

This completely ignores nuclear nations like North Korea who have bad intentions toward the U.S. and their neighbors and it runs completely contrary to the U.S. negotiations with Iran that would permit it to become a nuclear armed nation.

This is worse than diplomatic schizophrenia; it is a plan for national suicide.

Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Vincent Stewart, director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, recently told Congress that Russia and China have placed their highest priority on building up and maintaining strategic nuclear forces.

If you want to know what is wrong about the entire approach to our nation’s military needs, consider that since 2009 when Obama took office, the Pentagon’s civilian workforce has grown about 7% to almost 750,000, while active-duty military personnel have been cut by approximately 8%.

At the same time, dozens of military-equipment and weapons programs have been canceled, including a new Navy cruiser, a new search-and-rescue helicopter, the F-22 first-generation fighter, the C-17 transport aircraft, missile defense and the Marine Corps’ Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle.

We are not prepared to fight a war and now you know why.

Meet the Navy SEAL who killed Osama bin Laden

Navy Seal who shot Osama bin Laden reveals himself from the files of Vicky Nissen at the LA Examiner

Meet Navy SEAL Robert O'Neill
Robert O’Neill, 38, a Montana native, was near the head of the column of U.S. soldiers that burst into bin Laden’s Pakistan hideout on May 2, 2011 and killed him.

Joby Warrick of the Washington Post interviewed this Navy SEAL who fired the shot that killed Osama bin Laden.

Rob is a highly decorated veteran of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan who agonized for months over whether to publicly reveal his role in one of the most storied commando operations in U.S. history.

In a recent interview, O’Neill confirmed to The Washington Post that he fired the fatal shot that struck bin Laden in the forehead. He also acknowledged that shots were fired by at least two other SEAL team members, including Mark Bissonnette, who famously described the raid in the book, “No Easy Day.”

Over the course of several meetings with The Post, O’Neill said he decided to go public after becoming convinced that his identity was about to be leaked by others. What once was a closely guarded secret had spread widely through military circles, he said, and was known by members of Congress and at least two news organizations.

Martin Gould of MailOnline, interviewed Rob's father, Tom O'Neill in Montana, who said, 'People are asking if we are worried that ISIS will come and get us because Rob is going public. I say I'll paint a big target on my front door and say come and get us.'

Rob described that night to Warrick. As other team members peeled off to search different rooms of bin Laden’s residence, O’Neill found himself in the No. 2 position, behind the point man, for the final assault on bin Laden’s bedroom. When bin Laden briefly appeared at the door, the SEAL at the front of the line fired a shot that apparently missed.

O’Neill recalled, “I rolled past him into the room, just inside the doorway. There was bin Laden, standing there. He had his hands on a woman’s shoulders pushing her ahead.” Though the room was dark, O’Neill could clearly see bin Laden’s features through his night-vision scope.

“In that second, I shot him, two times in the forehead,” “Bap! Bap! The second time, as he is going down. He crumbled to the floor in front of his bed and I hit him again.” O’Neill told The Post that it was clear bin Laden had died instantly, as his skull had been split by the first bullet.

At the time of the raid, O’Neil had served nearly 15 years as a SEAL, eventually earning a spot in the elite unit known as SEAL Team 6. He served in other celebrated missions, including the 2009 rescue of merchant marine Capt. Richard Phillips from pirates off the coast of Somalia, as depicted in the 2013 movie “Captain Phillips.”

While other missions were likely more dangerous, the bin Laden raid was the first in which he believed he would likely be killed, O’Neill told The Post. The SEALs assumed that bin Laden’s compound would be both heavily guarded and booby-trapped to ward off attacks.

“I didn’t think I would survive,” he said.

Is President Obama cursed with nightmares?

ISIS is one mile from Baghdad: May Obama be cursed with nightmares of the Americans we lost in Iraq from the files of Colonel Allen B. West

Read the Allen B. West Files
Vice President Joe Biden recently proclaimed we would “chase ISIS to the gates of hell” — well, it seems they’re going to be a bit delayed, as they’re at the gates of Baghdad right now. Perhaps those almost 1,500 American troops — boots on the ground — will be allowed to leave from behind the gates of the U.S. Embassy and compound to fight — oops, that would be combat, and Obama said that’s not allowed.

So could we be on the verge of seeing a 21st century version of the last U.S. helicopter taking off from the roof of the U.S. Embassy in Saigon as the North Vietnamese Army and the Viet Cong breached those gates?

And you must understand this would be the third U.S. Embassy that would have been evacuated in this year! First Libya, now it seems we’re doing the same in Yemen, and Baghdad could be next. I remember transiting through Baghdad as we moved in to take up our positions at Taji AB, just north of the city.

But it’s not just ISIS at the gates. The al-Qaida in Syria affiliate, Jabhat al-Nusra, is joining forces with ISIS — so much for those Obama air strikes to “degrade” ISIS.

As reported in the UK Independent, “Isis fighters are reportedly just one mile away from Baghdad as reports emerge of al-Qaida militants bolstering their ranks in Syria. According to the Foundation for Relief and Reconciliation in the Middle East, Isis was approaching the Iraqi capital on Monday morning.

“The Islamic State are now less than 2km away from entering Baghdad,” a spokesperson said. “They said it could never happen and now it almost has. Obama says he overestimated what the Iraqi Army could do. Well you only need to be here a very short while to know they can do very, very little.”

I suppose this is something else that will sneak up on the Obama administration? It’s clearly evident — well, except to the mindless progressive socialists — that Obama’s political agenda and narrative is far more important to him than the security of the American people or the precious blood many of my warrior brothers and sisters shed in Iraq.

Just last year at the UN General Assembly, it was B. Hussein Obama who spiked the football in his speech and took a personal victory lap before the world over his acclaimed achievement of ending the war in Iraq and bringing all US troops home — looks like he never consulted with the enemy about their perspective on the matter.

But we can all expect Obama to just blame the U.S. intelligence community — or maybe he’ll blame ISIS for not playing along.

The Independent says “Isis fighters were also battling Government forces in a key town 25 miles west of Baghdad – Amiriyat al-Fallujah. According to a BBC correspondent, fighting had calmed by Monday afternoon but a standoff continued along the main road to nearby Fallujah, which is under Isis control.

US air strikes overnight targeted other Isis positions in Anbar province, the Pentagon said, and in Syria four more oil fields controlled by militants near Raqqa were hit on Sunday.”

“American officials called the attacks “successful” but the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights claimed mostly civilians were hit and a grain silo was destroyed.”

Folks, this is what happens when you’re just dropping bombs with no targeting assets on the ground to enable precision. I love the pretty fighter jet tapes that are being released, but all I’ve seen are a truck here and a truck there being brilliantly blown up.

According to the Independent, “The news comes amid reports of an emerging alliance between ISIS forces in Syria and Jabhat al-Nusra, also known as the Nusra Front. The group is the Syrian offshoot of al-Qaida and has been fighting against the Assad regime in the civil war.

Despite months of clashes between its forces and Isis (also known as Islamic State) militants, the two groups appear to be forming a loose coalition in parts of the country to fight increasing attacks by the US and its allies.”

“Al-Nusra’s official spokesperson, Abu Firas al-Suri, threatened the coalition nations with retaliation on Saturday. “These states have committed a horrible act that is going to put them on the list of jihadist targets throughout the world,” he said. “This is not a war against al-Nusra, but a war against Islam.”

Ok, so I just have to ask, is this guy al-Suri a high school or college teacher of the “religion of peace?” Now, does anyone believe we should take the enemy at his word and realize that his reality must become our own? So now please remind me, who are these “moderate” Islamists who are going to fight ISIS again?

“Al-Nusra and Isis leaders are now holding war planning meetings together, a source told the Guardian, although no formal alliance has been confirmed. The reports follow growing defections from other Islamist groups to Isis, which is seen as better organised and equipped to create an “Islamic State” straddling Iraq and Syria.

A loyalty pledge was reportedly made by al-Nusra in June in the town of Al-Bukamal near the Iraqi border, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said, and the two groups have fought together against Government forces.”

People follow winners and in the eyes of those in the Islamic world, ISIS is kicking arse, and they want to be a part of that. Here in America we have a loser – and just so you know, winning presidential elections through deceit, media manipulation and nefarious voting actions doesn’t make you a winner, just a progressive socialist.

I’m waiting to hear the excuses when Baghdad potentially falls — which is quite possible within this week. May Obama be cursed with nightmares by all those who lost their lives in Iraq.

The “Lie of the Year for 2013″ was Obama’s “You can keep your doctor.”

The Lie of the Year for 2014 should be “ISIS is the jayvee team.”

But the greatest lie has to be, “al-Qaida has been decimated and is on the run.”

Leaders take responsibility, not credit, and winners don’t need to lie.

Saudi decapitation among American slaves

The consideration of Saudi Decapitation in a polite society of American slaves from the files of Ken LaRive at the National Examiner

In our society, we have a Bill of Rights and a Constitution that are supposed to protect both law-abiding citizens and antisocial misfits. Caught red handed, a person has the right to due process in a court of law, a law based on our moral and ethical codes, and a Judicial System held in place by Constitutional Law.

Read the Ken LaRive at the Examiner
This system is unique to almost the entire world, and in its purest form, promotes the adage that justice is blind. This means to us that justice is unbiased, dispassionate, and impartial, and this so-called blind justice is reflected from the most petty to the most heinous of crimes... and one might suppose, in the study of American Law, that the true reality of our judicial system is not found in the utopia of a legal classroom, where the idea of justice originates... but in the field, the field of reality.

Just as ethics were taught in my own Communications department, from the immorality of subliminal advertising to the ethics and responsibility to promote truth in broadcasting, the reality in the field, in the real world, is quite different. And our judicial system has become as corrosive as our information system, and all other self governing systems that grow without bounds, from government to board room, where absolute power corrupts absolutely.

To understand some of the corrupt realities of our legal system, go here.

Most all would agree, our judicial process, our system of justice, is indeed very lucrative. The primary reason for this is that it thrives on ciaos, in spite of its outward appearance. And as we try to understand that process by looking at its surface, it may seem that our laws are rigorous in its interpretation.

But just the opposite is true, under the surface... With strict rigidity, an inherent and promoted lack of adaptability, there grows mountains of red tape, manufactured convolution and loop-holes, and the more corruptible and parasitic it becomes, the harder it is for our original ideal of justice to survive... and in that process, here in America, both trial and corporate lawyers, for the most part, reap monumental rewards.

In that process, per kappa incarceration of our population is greater than any other civilized society on earth, bar none, and yet, Justice is denied... and there is a primary reason for this. It is called a black bottom line.

Find out here how our judicial system fills corporate-owned jails, and where the motivation to fill them comes from.

One might consider that crime and punishment, in a free society, is proportionate not only to the social norms used to survey it, but should also be an indication of how that society defines each individual in relation to the whole, and the roll of authority. In a truly free society, considered Libertarian in nature, authority is granted by the people, and is a reflection of their identity as a whole. In a totalitarian society, the will of the people is bypassed, and most always by violence.

Go here to understand totalitarianism. Go here to understand the concept of Liberty.

All viable societies punish crime, because there is a universal perception that life has not only value, but that each of us are accountable and responsible for what we do. Our collective lives, our safety, and in some instances our virtual freedom, or liberty, is at stake. Punishment was designed to dole out justice, but also to thwart a recurrence of that crime.

If working for the common good, if that is the ultimate goal, crime would soon be thwarted. But what profit is there in that? No, crime is promoted, and then thwarted, promoted and thwarted, so that profit grows, and Justice has little or nothing to do with it... money makes the world go round, promoted by fear, and that is a truer depiction of our American reality, not our shredded Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Learn how our polite society enslaves us.

The following was taken from my 1998 diary while traveling in Saudi Arabia. One can learn a lot about yourself in relation to the world, and your nation as well, by trying to understand the moral methodology of law in another country...

In Saudi Arabia crime is punished severely. All males convicted of murder, or the selling of drugs, are put to death by the sword. The investigation is immediate and thorough, with one week to present your case, and if convicted, another week is given to make peace with your God.

Here is a story as told by two Arabs I worked with who witnessed this punishment. This particular beheading was reaffirmed by Mohmood Admad of the Arab News staff, who was also there as a reporter, and his thoughts translated into our local English newspaper.

This punishment was done in the town of Jeddah, just 50km from where I worked, and one week before I arrived. All of it transpired at noon on the playground of a school on a Saturday morning, and everyone was welcomed to view this punishment, without visual restriction. and in the light of day.

Abmad: “When Friday prayers are said, police form a cordon around the audience gathered in the large square beside Al-Jafali Mosque, next to the Al-Balad district school of that city.

“In the center of the square, flanked by the Iman, the prison warden and a few police officers, kneels the prisoner. He faces the victim’s family, who are waiting for him to die. He may beg them to forgive him, and they may choose to do so.

“The crowd shouts at the prisoner, reminding him of his Shahada, or at the victim’s family, asking for forgiveness.

“The prisoner is examined by a doctor, and most of the time he is given a sedative to help him get hold of himself. Across the square, the prisoner’s family are weeping and begging the victim’s family to forgive. A medical team and Red Crescent ambulances are standing by.

“The prisoner now recites verses from the Qur’an while a government official reads the charges and the verdict. Halfway through the reading the executioner suddenly nicks the back of the prisoner’s neck with his sword, causing him to tense and raise his head involuntarily.

“Then, in one swift move, the executioner separates the prisoner’s head from his body. Several spectators faint, and the executioner is pulled from the scene lest he get carried away and injure someone else with his sword.”

Note: My friends here tell me that they have gone to several of these executions, and it is very different if the victim’s family forgives the prisoner at the last minute…

“The atmosphere suddenly changes to the joy one might expect at a wedding, with people cheering and blessing the family. Suddenly, attitudes change, and there is not only peace, but an air of something like relief... and instead of anger, instead of vows of revenge, there is something very powerful and all encompassing, empathy. And from the gnashing of teeth and the sobs of loss, comes something akin to joy, and this is considered, above all else, God inspired.”

Only men will receive the sword, women are shot. Two bullets are used, one in the heart and one in the neck. A doctor will mark the spot where the bullet must enter…

The director of Prison’s General, Dr. Ali Al-Harhi, was interviewed for the “Arab News,” and he stated: “While we are talking about these matters, I would like to increase awareness: that is to say, awareness among people not to let their anger lead them into killing others. It is not worth risking your life for one moment of blind fury. We must be patient and not allow the devil to drive us to murder.

“A murder’s reward is the sword- not counting the psychological pain he suffers because he ended another’s life. We have to use our minds and remember the words of the Prophet (peace be upon him) who said three times: ‘Do not be angry.’

“The punishment for drug dealing is also death,” he added. “I ask every drug dealer, is it worth putting your life at risk for money?”

Arab law treats a drug dealer to be just as guilty of crimes against humanity as a murderer. They see a dealer as caring nothing for the life of the person he sells drugs to; only his own selfish want of money is motivation. It is strongly held that we are all responsible, not just to ourselves, but for those who are under our charge, or are defenseless.

Those we let out on plea bargains would surely be put to death here. Instead, if they have enough money to buy a savvy lawyer with connections, in America, they are set free to do the same thing again, and again. And when they find themselves back into the system, with another day under the guise of due process, profit can be made on the broken back of Justice, and all of it held in place by a polite society of slaves, without conscience. And without conscience, the veritable wind under the wings of justice, blind justice can not exist. And so, when a system cares little or nothing but for their own selfish concerns, holding truth and justice as ransom, the devil will take his due.

“I was lost a long time, without knowing it. Without the Faith, one is free, and that is a pleasant feeling at first. There are no questions of conscience, no constraints, except the constraints of custom, convention and the law, and these are flexible enough for most purposes. It is only later that terror comes. One is free - but free in chaos, in an unexplained and unexplainable world. One is free in a desert, from which there is no retreat but inward, toward the hollow core of oneself.

There is nothing to build on but the small rock of one's own pride, and this is a nothing, based on nothing... I think, therefore I am. But what am I? An accident of disorder, going no place.” ~ Morris L. West, The Devil's Advocate

President Obama reassures ISIS

O-baa-ma gives reassuring speech to ISIS at CENTCOM [VIDEO] from the files of Colonel Allen B. West

Alexander the Great is often attributed with the sentiment, “I would not fear an army of lions if led by sheep, I would however fear an army of sheep if led by a lion.”

On Wednesday, Barack Hussein Obama took the stage at the home of the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) and the U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM), MacDill AFB in Florida, and all I heard was baa-baa-baa.

As reported by CNS News, “President Barack Obama said he will not commit U.S. forces to fighting “another ground war in Iraq,” and explained that he had built a coalition of nations to help Iraq combat Islamic State terrorists.”

I’ve included an excerpt from Obama’s speech below, but you can watch the video if you prefer. It must be quite reassuring to our enemies.

This is not leading. It is retreating. And if our troops deployed to Iraq do not have a combat mission, then what are they there to do? Oh, right, advise and train, the exact same mission Obama was recommended to approve as part of a residual force in Iraq some three years ago.

So, I just have to ask, do we have a Status of Forces agreement with Iraq now? If Obama hadn’t been a political dupe and instead was a strategic visionary then we wouldn’t have to contend with “retraining” the Iraqi Army led by the Iranian cronies. Furthermore, we wouldn’t have to see ISIS riding around in American vehicles and using American weapons.

We continue to hear about this armada of a coalition but have yet to see any credible proof of its existence. Air power alone cannot destroy an enemy — and who exactly will be on the ground coordinating the air strikes?

If the Kurdish Peshmerga forces or Iraqi Army are engaged with ISIS in ground combat operations, then someone in a U.S. uniform will be the GTAC (Ground Tactical Air Coordinator) communicating to our air assets. And if that person is on the ground alongside Iraqi forces in combat — are they not engaged in combat?

What kind of sheep stands before warriors – lions — and states, “As your Commander-in-Chief, I will not commit you and the rest of our Armed Forces to fighting another ground war in Iraq?”

Why do we have a volunteer military who understands the commitment they are called to make to support and defend this nation?

Far better to have a Commander-in-Chief who stands before these warriors and conveys to them a sense of confidence that we are going to defeat this savage and barbaric threat to our nation. To give them the directions and rules of engagement enabling them to meet the desired effects in the most expeditious timeframe and manner.

Can you imagine a top 25 college football coach standing before his team and telling them he isn’t going to commit them to playing the game? That we will support and advise a coalition that includes the cheerleaders, college band, and concession workers to play and we’ll lead them? Well, that’s what Obama the sheep basically did.

We lack leadership, but worse, America lacks courageous leadership. All we have as president is a weak speech-giver. Funny, he can muster far more anger and angst to commit his domestic ground troops to attack conservatives than to defend the honor of our Republic. Pathetic.

Marines amazing song on video

Amazing Video: Marines song will uplift your soul from the files of Allen B. West

Oh boy, this here video is surely going to send the head chucklehead of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, Mikey Weinstein, into a apoplectic state of frothing hysteria. And you can imagine that the leadership of the Wisconsin-based Freedom from Religion Foundation is running about gnashing their teeth and tearing at their clothes.

This video taken at Camp Pendleton shows U.S. Marines at a Christian worship service singing the upbeat Christian song, “Days of Elijah.” And as you will see, they are very enthusiastic about the song.

As reported by The Blaze, “A description of the video, which was first posted to Facebook Sunday by a woman named Merrie Pardee Baldwin, reads, “Participatory worship. I love how excited the men get to sing this song & the camaraderie.”

Baldwin posted the video again Monday on the Facebook page for the Caruso Memorial Chapel at Camp Pendleton, giving a little more information about the clip’s origins. “This is one of my favorite things about coming each month for the Faith Warrior service,” she wrote.

“I love to see the camaraderie & how participatory worship is. They bless me MUCH more than they know.”

And this blessed me as well. You see, I truly don’t worry about America. What I am concerned about are the sheep who lead these lions.

Enjoy the video and please pray these young Marines — who volunteered to serve — have the freedom of religion and the free exercise thereof, especially since they stand as the sentinels protecting that right for us all.

Be careful, you progressive socialists, about complaining about this. I’m sure y’all supported repealing “Don’t ask, don’t tell.
