Iran’s leaders have reiterated their pledge to destroy Israel. The charter of Hamas calls for the destruction of Israel and says in Article Seven: “Muslims will fight the Jews; until the Jews hide behind rocks and trees, which will cry: O Muslim! there is a Jew hiding behind me, come on and kill him!”

On the campus of California State University at Fullerton, a discussion of BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement) was part of events scheduled during women’s history month.

BDS groups are dedicated to promoting nonviolent pressure toward Israel by boycotting university and cultural institutions that falsely promote “soft” images, when in reality they’re engaging in violent acts with Palestinians.

But while the BDS movement brings protests against the Israeli institutions designed to punish the government, it is also bringing with it the odious stench of anti-Semitism.

As promised, here’s a handy guide for all of those folks who support the BDS movement, with a little anti-Semitism thrown in. If you’re going to boycott Israel, you might as well go “whole hog” and boycott Jews!
  1. Avoid barcode scanners and DVD players – it was Jewish American physicist Theodore Maiman who successfully fired the first laser.
  2. If your heart stops at the airport, better not use one of those defibrillators or get a pacemaker installed afterwards. Jewish American cardiologist Paul Zoll was one of the pioneers in those technologies.
  3. Love those stainless steel appliances? Oh no. German Jewish chemist Hans Goldschmidt developed the process by which carbon-free chromium could be produced in 1893.
  4. Any movie with Steven Spielberg’s name on it. Duh.
  5. And finally, stop using Google - It was invented by two Jews, Larry Page and Sergey Brin.
