The deadly Ebola virus is here in America. For the first time, a patient not evacuated to the United States has the disease and there are media reports of a possible second case.
This story only goes from bad to worse. Common sense would dictate certain steps to stop the spread of this disease and prevent it from coming into this nation. Yet every time, the Regime does just the opposite.
First, from the Blaze:
The Texas patient infected with the Ebola virus vomited outside his apartment as he was transported to the hospital, according to a Reuters report.Let’s start with the basics. What the hell was this guy doing in the country to begin with?
“His whole family was screaming. He got outside and he was throwing up all over the place,” resident Mesud Osmanovic, 21, said.
The patient, identified as Thomas Eric Duncan by multiple media outlets, is a 42-year-old Liberian national, CNN reported. He’s the first to recently develop symptoms of the deadly virus outside Africa.
He is not an American. All travel into the United States should have been stopped weeks ago for anyone, not an American citizen, who has been in the Ebola hot zone. Instead we have leaders in America who treat this nation like a 24 hour convenience store. Anyone can come in, anytime they want and get anything they want.
How many Americans are going to die because of this lunacy?
Are we protected against more Ebola cases coming in?
Hell no!
That is, unless you believe the comedian who doubles as the White House spokesman. He says we are protected.

White House press secretary Josh Earnest told reporters today that, after the Ebola case in Dallas, the Obama administration reminded border law enforcment agencies of "protocol" to deal with people that appear to have symptoms of Ebola. Earnest also said that there "are screening procedures in place at our border."Where do you start with this lunacy? Are they checking all of the illegal aliens coming across the border for Ebola? They don’t even know how many are coming in. How about the 10,000 arrested in 2013 for crossing illegally who are from states that sponsor terrorism?
"[I]n light of this incident," Earnest said at his daily briefing, "the administration has taken the step of recirculating our guidance to law enforcement agencies that are responsible for securing the border, to those agencies that represent individuals who staff the airline industry, and to medical professionals all across the country to make sure that people are aware that there is an important protocol that should be implemented if an individual presents with symptoms that are consistent with Ebola."
The statement came up in addressing the Dallas case, as the person infected there reportedly had been traveling in Africa.
"[I]t’s my understanding that the individual in Dallas who has been hospitalized with Ebola is somebody who did recently travel to the United States from West Africa," Earnest said.
"Again, according to those medical professionals, this individual was not displaying any symptoms, was not experiencing any symptoms while he was traveling. That means there is no risk to the individuals who were traveling with that person.
The Regime loves to say that as long as someone did not show symptoms while traveling their fellow travelers are safe.
What moron believes this crap? If someone is infected with Ebola, sooner or later they are going to start showing symptoms of the disease and are going to become contagious. What about the people in America they are going to infect?
How many Americans are going to die because of the idiocy of the Obama Regime?
This is a question that everyone should be asking of their Senators and Congressman. Call into their offices and ask. If they are on the campaign trail, call in and ask.
It is time we demand our borders be sealed. Unfortunately now, it may be too late.
