The 4 percent solution - Jeb is right

Jeb Is Right about 4 percent growth and the whole GOP should back it from Larry Kudlow at Kudlow and Company

Meet Mr. Lawrence (Larry) Kudlow
“There is not a reason in the world why we cannot grow at a rate of 4 percent a year.” That’s what Jeb Bush said when he officially announced his presidential run in Miami last week. And right off the bat, most economists trashed the idea.

“It can’t happen and it’s never happened.” “Productivity is too low.” “The labor force is growing too slowly.” “Secular stagnation.”

They don’t call it the gloomy science for nothing.

But wait a minute. We have experienced relatively long periods of 4 percent or more economic growth. Following the Kennedy tax cuts, the economy averaged 5.2 percent yearly growth between 1963 and 1969. After the Reagan tax rates fully went into effect, alongside Paul Volcker’s conquering of inflation, the economy grew at 4.5 percent annually between 1982 and 1989. These were the “seven fat years,” so named by former Wall Street Journal editor Robert Bartley. And between 1994 and 1999, the Bill Clinton/Newt Gingrich economy increased 4.3 percent annually, after welfare reform, NAFTA trade, and cap-gains tax relief.

So we’ve got six-year, seven-year, and five-year periods -- all in recent memory -- when the American economy beat 4 percent. And for nearly all the post-World War II period, dating from 1947 to 2007 (before the meltdown), the U.S. economy actually grew at 3.4 percent annually. And 3.4 percent is not so far from 4 percent. It’s maybe only a few pro-growth policy changes away. Why wouldn’t we try?

So Jeb Bush’s 4 percent target is both aspirational and doable. It sets an important policy marker for the coming election. The whole GOP should adopt the target. Let the skeptics scoff. Positive solutions are grounds for optimism. And Americans will respond favorably to this kind of optimistic leadership -- which is sorely lacking today.

Now, the back story to the Jeb Bush 4 percent target starts in Dallas in 2010 at the George W. Bush Institute. Executive director James Glassman, a former undersecretary of state, was casting about for an economic agenda. And one of his board members, Jeb Bush, tossed out a centerpiece goal of 4 percent growth. It stuck.

Columnist and author Amity Shlaes (author of Coolidge and The Forgotten Man) was brought in by the institute to oversee a book called, naturally, The 4% Solution: Unleashing the Economic Growth America Needs. It was published in 2012.

“That term unleash is very important,” Jim Glassman told me, “because it simply means unleash the economy from government constraints.” Ironically, this past spring, a group of supply-siders -- including Art Laffer, Steve Forbes, Steve Moore, and myself -- founded the Committee to Unleash Prosperity. (I don’t think we remembered the original book title. Leave it as a coincidence.)

But the key theme here is our desperate need of a new batch of economic-growth policies. For nearly two decades we have grown at 2 percent yearly. That’s unacceptable.

Put supply-side tax reform at the center of a new growth agenda. Start with slashing the corporate tax, which falls most heavily on middle-class wage earners. Go to full cash expensing and a territorial system that would repatriate overseas profits. On the personal side, flatten the rates, broaden the base, and simplify the code. Make sure it pays more after-tax to work, invest, and take risks. Instead of raising taxes on capital, reduce or abolish investment taxes (which would contribute to a rebound in the soft productivity numbers).

But tax reform is not enough. We need pro-growth immigration reform to boost the lagging growth of the labor force. We need entitlement reform for welfare, food stamps, and disability, so that instead of paying people not to work, we incentivize people to rejoin the labor force.

Trade tariff reduction, now front and center in Washington, would also be important to a pro-growth agenda. Tariff cuts are tax cuts. They make businesses more competitive and provide more export markets. Meanwhile, consumers get the best-quality goods at the lowest prices anywhere.

Improving education with choice, charters, and vouchers is another much-needed pro-growth reform. So is ending Obamacare and replacing it with a privately driven, free-choice health-care system.

Finally, a better, more consistent, and more transparent monetary policy from the Fed that creates a reliable dollar would be a huge pro-growth reform.

Is 4 percent growth really possible? Sure it is. And it would help solve a lot of problems, including poverty, middle-class take-home pay, jobs, budget deficits, and on and on.

I’m not endorsing Mr. Bush at this point. But I am endorsing his 4 percent solution. If decisive policies can unleash innovation and entrepreneurship, get the economy out from under the government’s shackles, and provide a spirit of optimism, then all things are possible.

The whole history of America tells me so. Don’t tell me it can’t be done.

Survival blueprint for America (part two)

From the files of Ken LaRive at the Lafayette Examiner

Author's note: In part one, found here, I explained a bit of some very frightening and eminent problems facing America, and why it is so difficult to stop.

We are headed for a fiscal cliff not only from several financial bubbles about to pop simultaneously, but from the devalue of the US Dollar by the printing of trillions, (from 10 to 18.7 trillion since Obama has been in office), and the inevitable obsolescence of the Petro Dollar.

All of this is poised on a knife's edge, and it is all mapped out in a new Porter Stansberry book called: America 2020, The Survival Blueprint, with an inspiring introduction by Dr. Ron Paul.

As I read it in one sitting, I saw that there is indeed hope, and yet, few will take the time to understand these very powerful and true solutions in a world of manipulation and ciaos.

HOPE from Ken LaRive at the Lafayette Examiner

There, I found several viable game plans, formulated from the sound reasoning of statistical historical data, eliciting a sigh of relief. There is hope there, not just to survive, but to flourish, and I suggest every American to read it.

This Is Why There Are No Jobs in America ~ By Porter Stansberry
I'd like to make you a business offer.

Seriously. This is a real offer. In fact, you really can't turn me down, as you'll come to understand in a moment...

Here's the deal. You're going to start a business or expand the one you've got now. It doesn't really matter what you do or what you're going to do. I'll partner with you no matter what business you're in – as long as it's legal.

But I can't give you any capital – you have to come up with that on your own. I won't give you any labor – that's definitely up to you. What I will do, however, is demand you follow all sorts of rules about what products and services you can offer, how much (and how often) you pay your employees, and where and when you're allowed to operate your business. That's my role in the affair: to tell you what to do.

Now in return for my rules, I'm going to take roughly half of whatever you make in the business each year. Half seems fair, doesn't it? I think so. Of course, that's half of your profits.

You're also going to have to pay me about 12% of whatever you decide to pay your employees because you've got to cover my expenses for promulgating all of the rules about who you can employ, when, where, and how. Come on, you're my partner. It's only "fair."

Now... after you've put your hard-earned savings at risk to start this business, and after you've worked hard at it for a few decades (paying me my 50% or a bit more along the way each year), you might decide you'd like to cash out – to finally live the good life.

Whether or not this is "fair" – some people never can afford to retire – is a different argument. As your partner, I'm happy for you to sell whenever you'd like... because our agreement says, if you sell, you have to pay me an additional 20% of whatever the capitalized value of the business is at that time.

I know... I know... you put up all the original capital. You took all the risks. You put in all of the labor. That's all true. But I've done my part, too. I've collected 50% of the profits each year. And I've always come up with more rules for you to follow each year. Therefore, I deserve another, final 20% slice of the business.

Oh... and one more thing...

Even after you've sold the business and paid all of my fees... I'd recommend buying lots of life insurance. You see, even after you've been retired for years, when you die, you'll have to pay me 50% of whatever your estate is worth.

After all, I've got lots of partners and not all of them are as successful as you and your family. We don't think it's "fair" for your kids to have such a big advantage. But if you buy enough life insurance, you can finance this expense for your children.

All in all, if you're a very successful entrepreneur... if you're one of the rare, lucky, and hard-working people who can create a new company, employ lots of people, and satisfy the public... you'll end up paying me more than 75% of your income over your life. Thanks so much.

I'm sure you'll think my offer is reasonable and happily partner with me... but it doesn't really matter how you feel about it because if you ever try to stiff me – or cheat me on any of my fees or rules – I'll break down your door in the middle of the night, threaten you and your family with heavy, automatic weapons, and throw you in jail.

That's how civil society is supposed to work, right? This is Amerika, isn't it?

That's the offer Amerika gives its entrepreneurs. And the idiots in Washington wonder why there are no new jobs...

Regards, Porter Stansberry

Author's Note: Though this essay was written five years ago, it is so timeless, and reliant, it is used as the first chapter in his new book. There is no doubt that America is self destructing, with corrosive economic mindsets, like cancers, eating us alive from the inside out, and the outside in.

It is said that we have the best Congress money can buy, with a wide spectrum of lobbyists controlling not only our purse strings, but powerfully influencing polices that have nothing to do with what is good for America, her sovereignty, her moral compass, her civil liberties, or her economic future.

International corporations and parasitic countries, international banks and an unresponsive and unaccountable Federal Reserve System are selling our country and our children's future on the back of their black bottom line. Our domestic manufacturing industry is intentionally sent overseas for more fertile opportunities using what can only be described as slave labor without taxes or safety restrictions.

Products are produced for a consumer stimulated throw-away society based on debt, and an ever-dying middle class, with a domineering, Progressive, totalitarian government that manipulates and shreds our Constitution is growing unchecked in the midst of an uneducated and misinformed populous who can no longer care or even think for themselves, is unsustainable.

Scientifically designed propaganda by media, and government indoctrination in our schools systems have created a new form of American. A culture of need, breed to be weak-natured, immoral and selfishly motivated, they are conditioned to need government sustenance to survive, a welfare state from cradle to grave.

The many orchestrated problems that plague us as a society were created by the power elite to divide and conquer every aspect of of our lives, in an endless loop of manipulation for power and control, and to realize this amazing concept, believe it or not, is half the battle won...

Will anyone ever defend banks?

Bank-bashing didn’t work in Britain, and it may not work here in 2016 from the files of Larry Kudlow at Kudlow and Company

Visit the Larry Kudlow Website

Bank Bashing Picking Up Steam
One of the interesting nuggets coming out of the conservative sweep in the British elections was the failure of bank-bashing by the Labour party.

Labour leader Miliband, who has since resigned, was anti-bank, anti-rich, and anti-business.

It failed. And while conservative leader David Cameron didn’t necessarily defend banks, he didn’t attack them either.

Now, the case for Tory economic management wasn’t bad. The London Stock Exchange has been hot as a pistol. And the British economy is growing about 2.5 to 3 percent. Not great, not awful. It was enough for a handsome Tory victory. And it may be a message to British pundits that tax-the-rich, redistributionist, bank-bashing talk is old hat. Been there. Won’t work.

But the question is, how will bank-bashing do in the U.S. election next year? It’s already coming from both sides of the aisle.

Of course, the Obama administration has led the way on bank persecution. It has levied over $100 billion in fines for past sins, mostly related to mortgage bonds.

And nowadays, the thinking goes, it would be politically suicidal for anybody to actually defend the banks. That’s the interesting part of this story: Nobody will defend the banks.

Well, outside of the banks that is.

A recent news piece in the Wall Street Journal proclaims, “Banks Prep Defense for Anti-Wall Street Campaigns.” It seems the Financial Services Forum, representing all the big banks, held a clandestine meeting on the 51st floor of Bank of America to figure out a defense. Very conspiratorial, and not very exciting. The thrust of the Journal article is that the banks have done everything, and paid everything, the government has asked of them.

“We atoned for our sins. We will never do it again. Please forgive us for it. And by the way, would you clarify what ‘it’ is?”

Few will admit it, but unaffordable, undocumented mortgage quotas came out of Washington, not Wall Street. And Fanny and Freddie enforced them. And while the Fed’s ultra-easy money destroyed the dollar, it also caused a bubble in home prices.

Yes, banks made risk-management mistakes. But when will the firing squads stop? You know, you can’t have a decent economy without banks.

But when will you ever hear a politician say that?

Senator Elizabeth Warren never misses a chance to slam banks. Nor does socialist Bernie Sanders, or far-left former Maryland governor Martin O’Malley.

Hillary has caught the bank-whacking virus, which is hilarious given all the money raised on Wall Street by the Clinton Foundation.

But Republicans are whacking away too. Of all people, former Florida governor Jeb Bush bashed banks while in New Hampshire.

But wait, didn’t Jeb’s brother preside over the big bank bailout? Oops.

Former Texas governor Rick Perry is slamming the banks. So is former HP CEO Carly Fiorina. She actually said, “I agree fully with Elizabeth Warren.” Huh?

Yes, there is an issue with “too big to fail.” And it’s bipartisan, since both Democrats and Republicans voted for the bailout in 2008. Might we go there again? Economic writer Amity Shlaes has a good suggestion: The candidates should make no-bailout pledges along with their no-tax-hike pledges.

And Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) chairman Martin Gruenberg has said that if a major bank runs into trouble today, “they would be allowed to fail and suffer the consequences of that failure.” Do we believe him?

Either way, it’s doubtful the political assault on banks will end. But I wonder, at some point, will someone in the U.S. -- a big-shot politician, a small-business person, a struggling middle-class mom or dad -- actually say something good about a bank?

Maybe!

Banks do make business loans, which have picked up quite a bit. They do provide mortgages, though the terms are more difficult. They do offer credit cards, decent ATM machines, car loans, farm loans, and student loans. Even though the Fed has decimated interest rates, they do allow large savings accounts. And they do, after all, connect savings with investment. (I think that was their original purpose.)

Sure, I’d get rid of a few banks: Like the Ex-Im Bank, which makes loans to our enemies and destroys jobs at home. Or Fannie and Freddie, which helped cause the problem in the first place, and are now actually being expanded by Team Obama. They have no capital. Disaster waits all over again.

But I have a caution for the candidates: Sometimes British politics leads our politics. And if bank-bashing didn’t work in the U.K., maybe politicians here should let it go, and instead focus on pro-growth measures like flat-tax reform, free trade, deregulation, and sound money. Just for a moment, why not leave banks alone?

Wait a minute. I did not even remotely mean to suggest that I’m defending banks. That would be wrong.

One world order of black ideology (part two)

From the files of Ken LaRive at the Lafayette Examiner

Read the LaRive Files at the Lafayette Examiner
Once, in the company of lawyers, while having a bang-bang shrimp and Pimm's Cup, they concurred: “Watch what you tell your doctor. It is a permanent record. Big Pharmacy wrote Obama Care.” They laughed, “Well, their lawyers did.”

Last month I wrote about experiences I had going to a Veteran's Administration Nutritionist, and how, along the approved path to her office was asked four times if I thought I had PTSD. That seems the push of the month there, and one must ask the question why. Here is the link to my thoughts.

Most every person paying attention will feel something akin to depression when reflecting on the state of America today. If government sees PTSD and depression as an excuse to take away second amendment rights for a select few, the ammunition for that is found in the Veteran's Administration.

Even a diminutive study of so-called MED sites will show the complexity of this issue, and how misunderstood it is generally. There are no concise reasons so many American's suffer from this most debilitating mental disorder, and the question as to why some people seem unaffected by trauma and others do not, begs a resolution. Before I finish this essay I will attempt, with my limited ability, an answer....

Seems the idea of depression is both complicated and convoluted, and finding verifiable statistics on this matter impossible from one site to another. Every page has its own reason to exist, and is under someone's promotional thumb.

A new form of designer vitamin, drug therapy from a new perspective to corner a market, and most all agendas are based on some form of conjecture, a hypothesis, or speculative point of view, and like everything in this world of men, the true reason is money, a black bottom line. That is the primary reason... and what I call a black-ideology. The following paragraph is a typical on-line MED take on PTSD and depression...
“Depression is one of the most commonly occurring disorders in PTSD. In fact, it has been found that among people who have or have had a diagnosis of PTSD, approximately 48% also had current or past depression.
People who have had PTSD at some point in their life are almost 7 times as likely as people without PTSD to also have depression. Another study found that 44.5% of people with PTSD one month after experiencing a traumatic event also had a diagnosis of depression.”
Are they two different animals?

Note here that they are alluding that PTSD and depression are two different entities, and that they sometimes coexist. Can one have PTSD and not show signs of depression? Seems so, according to this site, but not all concur.

On other sites PTSD and depression are discussed to be one and the same... that PTSD is a form of depression. Isn't a concise definition needed? Yes, but the reason it isn't is simple. The more complex an issue, the more lucrative it becomes. Make a cure lucrative, and you will have that cure tomorrow.

Yes, this issue is complicated. I'm sure it varies depending on the temperament of the person, and the severity of the trauma. But that just scratches the surface of how difficult it is to define. As I've been taught, usually the simplest definition is the most accurate, and this issue is the same.

Note here, that we have had a singular idea instilled in our minds from early childhood, from our education and social development all the way to boot camp and business, and it is this: Depression primarily comes from a person's inability to take responsibility for his own life. It manifests itself when a person is presented with a challenging situation and they can find no solution.

Depression comes for what we can not control, and then there is a realization that digs a deeper hole for them, floundering in a self-made world of hopelessness and fear, and that little or nothing in this life has any guarantee.

It is a game of toss, a competitive reality, though many would deny it. It is an illusion, as most of life is... but this is opposed to Western thought... And it is not much of a revelation to most, as this idea is found in the mind of most every man and woman in America... and that depression actually suppresses our survival instincts... Some saying even our immune system...

Let me put it another way, so it might hit home...

All of us, to the very last person, has at time felt the lash of depression. Some are frozen to inaction, and some struggle to move past it. Although the study of this phenomena is extensive, the primary reason for its amazing power over us are most always the same. It becomes manifest in our lives because of what we find, subconsciously or consciously, that we can not control.

When we can not find truth, we can not make a viable decision.... and depression takes hold, to fill that void. And this eats at every thinking person to the very quick. What can be more unsettling but to listen to a person of authority, and know emphatically they are lying, or only promoting their agenda, without regard for the dynamic and empowering revelation called truth.

Of all of the primary working motivators used as propaganda, nothing has more ability to coerce than the element of fear, and that is why we have been in alert mode since FDR, and why we have had one war after another since WW2. The promotion of fear is very lucrative... History tells us that before WW1 and 2, American sentiment was not to get involved... But we were forced, and after WW2 we have been in one military action after another.

What has changed? No, American sentiment is the same, peace and love, and men are blindly voted in promising us the moon, but we soon forget even the promise... Because life goes on, bam, bam, bam! So very optimistic! Next time, we will try again next time...

All of us have known fear. Originally, our Republic based on Law was designed so that we could revel in our differences. Our founders abhorred Church-State, and did everything in their power to protect us from that.

No matter what religion, race, or political point of view one might have, one primary element could link us to a common cause, a common denominator, our Constitution. Moments after ratification and the signing of our precious documents, there were those who plotted its undoing.

I say this with the strongest voice I can muster, as the very reason for the unraveling of our society, the depressive, lethargic, immoral, and condescension of our children, and society as a whole... as all of it stems from the destruction of our constitutional form of law. In the vacuum of truth, the void needs to be filled, and manipulative propaganda pours in from a top-heavy government who vies to be everything we need from cradle to grave.

In the process, we feel depressed, because we are slaves to an out of control system, when our very nature as human beings is to be just the opposite, Libertarians.

Thoughts on Liberty

America is not dead as long as one person has an understanding of the word Liberty. And yet, the word is not understood. Some think the word freedom and Liberty have the same meaning. They are not, in any way.

You see, we are not in the freedom movement, but the Liberty Movement. It is up to you to answer that question, you see? It is your responsibility to answer that, not mine. The key is responsibility.

You are responsible for your life, and nothing else... “All we have to fear is fear itself.” Is that true?

We are now in what can only be described as a global community. It pivots around a central concept found on a mint-green spread sheet, a balance of debt and assets. It is, in its finality, the giver of both Liberty (God given) and Slavery (man-given), as designed by those who control the monetary system. Since 1913, that has been the Federal Reserve System.

There is a reason why, an emphatic reason hard to conceive or realize, that all Federal Reserve Chairmen are Zionist Jews. They have more power then our own congress, and the reason for this I will describe in part three... Know this, and you can feel it in your chest too... This entity is so powerful, just saying this out loud fills most with fear.

Fear, the greatest of all manipulating forces... And while we fear, our country is being sold to international corporations, our gold is gone, and trillions have been stolen from the the Pentagon.

There is a reason building seven had to come down... and why we are now 18.3 trillion in debt. Yes, it is a daunting proposition, and responsible for our depressive state of affairs. What changes could you have personally wrought with two trillion dollars created out of thin air, electronically transferred and unaccountable?

The Federal Reserve is not an American institution, but something separate... There is nothing Federal about it, and they are not supposed to have any reserve. Power corrupts, the control of money corrupts, and yet we are told to trust the system. What have we become?

“If we define an American as one who in case of conflict puts money and power ahead of human beings, then there are undoubtedly several million fascists in the United States.” ~ Henry A. Wallace quote

Ruling the Fed

Republicans attacking Janet Yellen should be careful what they wish for by Larry Kudlow at Kudlow and Company

Find Out More About Kudlow and Company
Fed chair Janet Yellen testified this week on the state of the economy. The only interesting thing to come of it was some sharp-edged criticism by Republican members of the House Financial Services Committee.

That includes committee chair Jeb Hensarling, who said, “Fed reforms are needed . . . Fed reforms are coming.”

Meet Mr. Lawrence (Larry) Kudlow
Senator Rand Paul, for one, is pushing a bill to audit the Fed, by which he means auditing the Fed’s policies and discussions. But Yellen and other Fed big shots fiercely oppose any rules that might be imposed on the central bank by Congress.

Now, down through the years, the Fed has always resisted rules in the name of independence from political pressure. But there’s an interesting backstory here.

In the early 1970s, President Nixon allegedly (it’s never been proven) ordered then-Fed chair Arthur Burns to goose the money supply to spur the economy and help the Nixon reelection effort.

This story becomes even creepier, since Nixon and his entourage destroyed the dollar and launched double-digit inflation by breaking the gold-dollar link established in 1944 at Bretton Woods.

So the Fed has a point about politics.

Later in the 1970s, however, a Democratic Congress voted for the Humphrey-Hawkins bill, which mandated the Fed to keep both unemployment and inflation down. That became law. And of course, for most of the ’70s and early ’80s, the dollar sank lower while unemployment and inflation ratcheted higher.

That prompted Republicans to jawbone the Fed to establish money-supply targets, which followed the dictum of Nobelist Milton Friedman (who wanted to replace the Fed with a computer).

For a while, Fed head Paul Volcker published money-supply targets. But Ronald Reagan told Volcker to do whatever was needed to conquer inflation while he and Congress reduced marginal tax rates and reignited economic growth. The Fed had no new rules. But for 20 years, the economy worked beautifully.

Then the rule story shifts to the financial meltdown of 2008, when the Fed went wild. It pushed the target rate to zero and flooded the banking system with over $4 trillion in new reserves. That really didn’t work. Most of the Fed’s money creation went unused; it was turned around by banks and placed on deposit at the Fed.

Former Dallas Fed president Bob McTeer points out that the money supply never ballooned out of control and the Fed didn’t pump up anything, because the velocity (or turnover) of money collapsed.

Economist John Ryding calculates that over the past six years, while the Fed’s balance sheet grew near 17 percent a year, the M2 money supply increased only 6 percent annually, in line with the long-term trend, while money velocity fell 2 percent yearly and nominal GDP grew by roughly 4 percent. There was no Big Bang, and also no inflation.

Today, Janet Yellen may rightly or wrongly be associated with liberal Democrats, but a key point is that she talks dovish and acts hawkish. She shut down so-called QE reserve creation, a surprise to many.

And lately, the U.S. dollar has gone up while oil and commodity prices have gone down. As a result, an improving economy is trying to reach 3 percent growth.

So Republicans attacking Yellen and calling for higher interest rates should be careful what they wish for. A strong dollar and low energy costs have put the economy in a good place.

Now, if President Obama would agree with the GOP to slash the corporate tax, the economy might grow at 4 or 5 percent with a stronger dollar and even lower commodity prices. Wouldn’t that be ironic? Too bad Obama won’t agree to a serious corporate tax cut.

As for rules and the Fed, there are a bunch of proposals out there: There’s the inflation-fighting Taylor rule, which seemed to work in the 1980s and ’90s. There’s a gold-commodity-King Dollar price rule (which I favor) that also worked in the ’80s and ’90s.

There’s the new-monetarist nominal-GDP-growth rule, although the trouble here is that velocity keeps falling and money GDP has gone nowhere. Alan Greenspan (!) is actually telling people that gold is the only true currency. And Professor Taylor himself is suggesting that the Fed could create its own rule, any rule, but would have to answer to Congress if it ever went off it.

At the end of the day, the economic incentives from lower tax rates and regulatory burdens are the right levers to promote faster growth. And central banks should focus on sound currencies and price stability.

Looking at a renewed King Dollar and low U.S. inflation, the Fed seems to have done its job.

So either:
1) it’s a miracle or
2) the Fed actually knows what it’s doing
You choose.

Gold Paper and our enslavement from war

Gold Paper and Our Enslavement in a Perpetual War from the files of Ken LaRive at the Examiner

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants” ~ Thomas Jefferson

America's Last Stand
“Know thy enemy.” was written in The Art of War, and “If you know yourenemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles... if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle.”

With this in mind I give you your true enemy. An enemy who works steadfast and unrelenting inside the folds of our country, and outside the boundary called rule of law. We see their work in the light of day... that which was scientifically prepared and carefully presented in increments for us to digest with deceit... in the dead of night.

Their power is so formidable, their intelligence and insight so pronounced, they can appear as our very best partner, while undermining the very structure and fabric that identifies all future paths for our nation, by lies and deceit. I give to you, The Federal Reserve System. - Ken LaRive, 1999.

101 Years of Slavery

Long ago... so long ago it now seems more of a myth, there was a country called The United States of America. It was a land of vast resources, a land of opportunity, a land of Liberty, and a land of dreams. People from all over the world came here, oppressed and enslaved by totalitarian church states, and some so poor they worked as indentured servants for seven years, just to get the price of passage...

All that changed just 101 years ago. And though many dates are important to us as a nation, with some living on in infamy, no other has more profound implication to our nation than the date,December 23, 1913.

Until that date, we had a country whose Congressional Statesmen, most overwhelmingly, adhered to our Constitution and Bill of Rights. And though there were men in the folds of our nation who wanted to change us fundamentally, even to help international entries gain control of us from the inside, our constitution was still virtually intact, as laid out by our founders. But since that time, for all intent and purpose, both Liberty and our National Treasure has been stolen.

Of all of the stipulations of that mighty document, our Constitution, one element was thought to be primary to our amazing success, Article 1, Section 8, Paragraph 5. If you have not read the Constitution, you are doing yourself and your children a great disservice.

It is the variable key not only to unlocking your dreams, but a key to the very shackles you find yourself in today. Shackles, that you proudly polish by the threat of a gun... “Congress shall have power to coin money, regulate the value thereof, and of foreign coin, and fix the standard of weights and measures.”

Right after that is another very profound clause, found in the same section 8. It stipulates that Congress has the power to“punish counterfeiters.” So with a “Once Upon A Time” story, I'd like to explain to you just what happened...

A Traitorous Congress

A few men, men very similar to those who hold office of power on both sides of the aisle today, now called Neocons on the Right, and Progressives on the left, are virtually indistinguishable in their actions. They promote themselves to be different, but once in office will ignore the original platform they used to get elected... It seems that they are quickly briefed... and that the remainder of their tenure is somewhat scripted... and they become virtually indistinguishable...

Why? ...because both are bought and paid for by the same set of lobbyists... And most all, almost to the last man, have done everything for their specific scripted agendas, even at the expense of our Constitution and Bill of Rights, as the NDAA and Patriot Act will attest. But just as most Americans have not read the Constitution, so too have they not read these manifestos of slavery, and that includes one of the biggest scams in our history, Obama-care..

The Lost Letter and the Invisible Government

In a letter found in the personal effects of my long deceased father-in-law, Mr. Joseph Makezitch, from a man named W. B. Vennard Sr., National Chairman for Americans for America, (1968), there was an amazing historical revelation that stimulated me to learn more:
“A traitorous Congress, led principally bySenator Nelson Aldrich of New York, kin of the Rockefeller clan, and one Carter Glass, Senator from Virginia,unconstitutionally- (because this Act constituted an illegal amendment of the Constitution) -sneaked through Congress just two days before Christmas in 1913, when many in that body had gone home for the Holidays,(pushed through) The Federal Reserve Act.
The Federal Reserve Banks, a system owned and operated not by the United States Government, as many have been led to believe, but by a group of private Rothschild and affiliated bankers sent here from Europe for the express purpose of gaining control of this Nation's money system, just as they had done in every nation in Europe with the exception of Czarist Russia, up to that time, and involved that continent in war after war."
The Banking firm of Kuhn, Loeb Company, sent Paul Warburgto America from their office in Hamburg, Germany, to become the chief “engineer,” implementer, and spokesman for the newly proposed system, and voila, was appointed first Governor of the Federal Reserve Board. Yes, of course, there were those who emphatically opposed it on principle, and they fought this bill on the floor of Congress.

In the middle of the fray, that goes on as a small act of defiance to this very day, one voice stood out as a loyal Constitutionalists, Congressman Lindbergh of Minnesota. He said: “This Act establishes the most gigantic trust on earth. When the President signs the Bill, the invisible Government by the Monetary Power will be legalized.

The people may not know it immediately, but the day of reckoning is only a few years removed... The people must make a declaration of independence to relieve themselves from the (this) monetary power... This they will be able to do by taking control of Congress, the division of Congress into political parties is a crime...” I had to read this several times...

Since that bill was signed into law by President Wilson, this nation has been sliding down a slippery slope- The involvement of two World Wars, and from that time a barrage of so called “police actions,” and the reality of today is a heading to what can only be described as a “One World Government.”

War is very profitable for the Military Industrial Complex, and there is no end in sight... Without a doubt, if we the people can not find the means to curb this domineering power, all will be lost. Well, read on, there is indeed a solution to be found...there is hope for us as a nation and society.

Today we are being primed for war, by fear and hatred, and there are no means for the average person to reason it out. Promoted by a media dominated and controlled by these mega-corporations, new enemies are being created and destroyed in a never-ending process, and with it our national debt is the virtual fulfillment of Lindbergh's prophecy.

He warned us, as so many others along the way tried to do with no avail, and today the Federal Reserve prints money out of thin air just to pay the interest on that debt... And since this is not taught in school, and the new American mindset is the never ending need for government involvement in every aspect of their lives, no declaration of independence seems evident at this time.

Still, a few are questioning why, for instance, that our borders are not secured, or how UN mandates are said to now trump what is left of our Constitution, and the answer is a simple one, though most disconcerting for a Libertarian.

You see, it is designed that way, without a doubt, as paying for a fence and security is not in the best interest for a power structure who wants to bring the entire world under their dominate control, a New World Order as it were, without borders. And, as they well know, American sovereignty will be abolished without border security, and combined with both debt slavery and the hidden tax of inflation, our destruction is secure.

Ask yourself.... why would an international conglomerate of bankers and industry care for what happens to America? We would, America, to the last man and penny, be absorbed into their collective, and this is happening right before our eyes.

“Commerce with all nations, alliance with none, should be our motto.”

***Letter to Thomas Lomax (12 March 1799)

On July 1st, 1957, William McChesney Marten, then Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (FRS), was quoted in a testimony before the Senate Finance Investigating Committee: “The only right Government has is the right of repeal.”

Think for a moment just what this means. You see, it was just 12 years prior, on July 1st, 1944, “that the nation was placed under international control through our fiscal system by means of the Bretton Woods Agreement.

The plot was hatched in the woods by the international bankers which established the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank of Reconstruction and Development. The “Convertibility Clause” of Bretton Woods, tied all foreign currencies to the U.S. Dollar, which in turn allowed any member nation with U.S. Dollars to convert them to gold, thus bringing about the hemorrhaging of our gold in Fort Knox.”
(Note: No audit of Fort Knox has been available to the American Citizen for over fifty years. Our National Treasure has been squandered, and we are not allowed to know, who, when, where or how.)
In that traitorous acquisition, both the pound and the dollar has been devalued, and every time we have this devaluation, our future is culled and placed in a foreign bank, as is the same when money is printed out of thin air. When the Federal Reserve prints unsecured money, it is one more nail in our coffin, a burden designed to enslave us, and our future no longer belongs to us as we the people.

The Shadow Government

The International Monetary Plan in Prospective was published in February 1968 in what was called a monthly review of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. You had better sit down: “Recent developments in international finance, highlighted by the devaluation of the British pound and speculative activity in the London gold market, have created considerable interest in the future viability of the international monetary system. Policy-makers, of course, have been vitally interested in this issue for a number of years.

The most notable accomplishment, however, has been directed toward the problem of assuring an adequate long-run supply of international reserves. This accomplishment occurred at the annual meeting of the International Monetary Fund, (IMF) held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in September 1967, when a resolution was unanimously adopted to proceed with a plan to establish, within the fund, machinery for the creation of a new international reserve facility.” Yes, a new international Federal Reserve System - (W.B.V. Sr.)

Discussions were rifle at the time, and there were many thoughts published on this matter in that year, 1968, the year I was drafted to Vietnam. One blaring accusation by Congressman Wright Patman, who was then chairman of the House Banking and Currency Committee, during a Joint Economic Committee of Congress, stated that William McChesny Martin was, “guilty of malfeasance and nonfeasance in office.”

And on February of that year the Los Angeles Times quoted William McChesney Marten to have stated: “An increase in the price of gold, in effect a devaluation of the dollar, is nether necessary or desirable as a solution to the nation's gold outflow and imbalance of payment problems... we're overextended and over committed and we're trying to do too much too fast... perpetual defects are the road to the undermining of any currency... the United States is on a wartime economy and has to pay for the war.”

Yes, a wartime economy that has continued to this day. And since Bretton Woods it is insured to continue unabated and perpetually, as without it the ceiling would fall in... and that is why they want to continually lift the debt ceiling, unless, of course, spending is curbed... but there is too much profit to be made for the war machine, international banks and international corporations, with men holding duel citizenship in our very congress pulling the strings. War is a racket, and America is being systematically dismantled...

Paper Gold... (Perhaps a straight shot of Tequila Gold may be in order to finish this essay.) Before continuing to the overt punchline, let us recede a bit to the year 1763 when our ambassador, Benjamin Franklin was asked why the so called Colonies had been so prosperous. His statement rings true, even today “Because we issue our own money.” he said.

Soon after, the very next year in fact, England prohibited that practice and that was the primary cause of the Revolutionary War of 1775, and realize here that every war that has been “declared” in the history of this nation... has stemmed from this very cause.

So what I'm stating here, emphatically, is that banking cartels have tried to put their boots on our throats from the very first... In 1811, for instance, Congress voted to not renew the charter of the First Bank of the United States, and from that came the War of 1812. And why? Because International Bankers knew that “debt free” money, as printed according to our Constitution, is also called “honest money” and it could not be tapped by them.

They could not get a cut in our unprecedented prosperity otherwise! They knew that without control of our monetary system, and the amazing industry and people who came to our shores from all corners of the world could not be dominated... and because of this primary reason... The Civil War was precipitated.

Martin further stated:
“Rather than increase the price of gold as a solution to the payments imbalance, he called for active cooperation among nations of the world and the IMF in the creation of a much-discussed 'paper gold” (also referenced to the S.D. Rs-Special Drawing Rights and paper gold- W.B.Vsr.) drawing rights on the IMF as a supplement to international reserves... Reserves used by countries in international dealings now consist of gold, U.S. Dollars and and British pound sterling... Gold and the U.S. Dollars are the most prized universally, especially since the pound has devalued... As our deficit has mounted over the years, many foreigners holding dollars have asked for gold- still the ultimate in acceptability as international money.
Some countries have “cashed in,” fearing that the United States would raise the price of gold, therefor a devaluation of the dollar... and in effect repudiating some of its international debt.”
Wonder how China, Russia, Japan, and India might feel about this, and if history is any indication of future events, wouldn't that be the primary catalyst for war? In 1968, Louis B. Lundberg, chairman of the Bank of America, made a startling suggestion:
“The Federal Reserve Board's powers be vastly extended to include control over the entire U.S. credit industry, not just commercial banks. The Federal Reserve Bank, which is not part of the Government but is often sympathetic to government fiscal goals, now has controls beyond regulation of interest rates and reserve requirements of commercial banks. The Government's policy is fiscal irresponsibility and it presents a clear-cut danger to the world economy.
We cannot continue to run such sizable deficits in our balance of payments, at a time when our gold stock is being reduced, without seriously undermining world confidence in the dollar.”
When that was written the National Debt was $336 Billion, and the annual interest on that debt was 14 billion. At this time, ourdebt is 17.86 trillion, and there is no viable way to determine if that number is accurate, or in actuality, what we actually pay in interest, or even to whom. No complete audit of the the Federal Reserve has taken place as of yet, though this year we are told it will happen...

World War Three has Already Begun

We are being drawn into a world conflict, a World War three, for this very reason alone... for corporate and banking profit. We Americans are such good and trusting people... We think our cause is a noble one... that we are bringing something called democracy to the lands we destroy, from the outside in to the inside out, and in the process, make fortunes for those who finance it, from banks who fiance both sides to international corporations who make tools of war, and we pave the way for them with a debt that enslaves our very future, so big it can never be paid, at 55K for every man woman and child in this country.

It is a debt so big, and growing so fast, it is unsustainable... and when we foreclose on this debt, the American entitlement society and working men alike, will not be able to wrap their minds around just how bad it may become... and as we will kill each other for the scraps that are left, bankers, like carpetbagger vultures, will own us all, lock, stock, and barrel.

Let me say this again, for the sake of clarity... it could get so bad that most everyone left alive, after a month without lights, will beg government to quell the chaos by force... and the men who will rescue us, will not be the US Army, Navy, or Marine, but Solders of Fortune like Black-water, working with an international force called the UN.

Only then... will America find it in their hearts and minds to state a Declaration of Independence, and the blood of tyrants and patriots will be the fertilizer for a New America, born again in Liberty, or, more likely, I'm so sorry to say, be absorbed into a One World Order. You see, once a Liberty is lost, only blood will get it back, and very few care so long as a football game is on, especially if they have money on the game... Liberty is not realized by most, until it is lost...

If we can come together, if we can restore Article 1, Section 8, Paragraph 5, all un-Constitutional activities will wither and die. Yes, it is said that the root of all evil is man's love for money, and so if we can show that Liberty is profitable, that truth is profitable, that peace is profitable, and that our Constitution ties us to prosperity, America will again be a beacon of light for the entire world, just as we once were. God bless America, and the entire world as well.

"A great industrial nation is controlled by it's system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated governments in the world-- no longer a government of free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress of small groups of dominant men." ~ President Woodrow Wilson
