During the recent Summit on Violent Extremism held in Washington, D.C., President Barack Obama said that the U.S. battle against "violent extremism" doesn't mean it's a war on the Islamic world and using the words Muslim or Islamic offer the very terrorist group we are fighting a certain amount of legitimacy.

However, the head of a congressional committee that oversees the nation's Homeland Security responded by saying to reporters, "[Obama and his administration] won't even call the threat what it is. How can you talk about defeating an enemy you cannot name?"

In an almost accusatory tone, President Obama seemed to be more concerned with an angry reaction by Americans and Europeans to the beheadings and other executions by members of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and other Islamist organizations and spoke about the need to not stigmatize Muslim community because their faith is being perverted by extremists.

"No religion is responsible for terrorism, people are responsible for violence and terrorism," Obama said.

One could only wish that President Obama and his so-called national security team, especially his National Security Advisor Susan Rice and his chief confidante Valerie Jarrett, would read a newly released book that more than explains not only how policymakers should discuss the enemy in this war against Islamic extremists but also how the United States, as the most powerful and exceptional nation in the world, should wage war against an enemy that is as cunning as it is fanatical.

That newly released book is "The New Terrorism: How to Fight It and Defeat It" by Van Hipp (available on Amazon.com). The author is living proof that someone with real-world experience trumps the denizens of academia who populate the Obama White House and most of the executive branch who the President calls his national security team.

ISIS butchers wantonly rape, enslave, burn, crucify and slaughter thousands of adults and children – including 21 Egyptian Christians beheaded in the latest outrage – without apparent qualms or remorse. They are all too reminiscent of Bluebeard, the notorious fifteenth century serial killer of children.

Gilles de Rais had been the paragon of the high medieval prince, almost Renaissance in his talents and accomplishments. He fought alongside Joan of Arc in the Hundred Years’ War and was honored by the King for his service to the crown. But he became crazed, a psychopath nicknamed Bluebeard, because his perfectly groomed horse sometimes glowed blue in the sun, who took demonic pleasure in torturing, raping and viciously murdering innocent boys and girls in France.

In the hellish modern day Middle East, ISIS grew out of the Sunni terrorist organization formed by al Qaeda, specifically the Iraq group, al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI).

Until an America airstrike killed him in 2006, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi headed AQI, with the experienced Iraqi fighter known as Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi succeeding him. But for awhile a US-backed alliance of Iraqi Sunni tribes effectively battled against this jihadist force, with AQI losing its influence in Iraq.

Then in 2011 AQI recognized that it could regain some of its power and increase its ranks as the Syrian conflict developed, by moving its troops to that war-torn country. By 2013 it returned to Iraq where al-Baghdadi changed the group name to ISIS, reflecting its greater regional aspirations.

The brutality of war can turn soldiers into monsters, during or after combat. Bluebeard appears to have killed because of a mental illness, possibly precipitated by his experiences on the battlefield. He killed many men in vicious hand-to-hand combat, and saw many others mangled and dismembered.

He was Joan of Arc’s protector, yet he was powerless to save her from the enemy. She was burned as a witch with instructions from the English command that she be kept far enough from the flames to suffer a slow, gruesome death. Bluebeard’s inability to save this heroine possibly caused him to suffer from PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder), which triggered his latent psychopathic tendencies and led him to commit hundreds of murders.

The psycho-political connection of ISIS to slaughter is simpler. Islamic State happily recruits the most depraved, hate-filled, remorseless servants of extremist Islam from all corners of our planet. It gleefully eradicates all who will not agree with its primitive ideology, killing children and adults savagely for that single reason. Its game plan includes violence to instill fear and conversion, and violence for its own sake.

It has extended its caliphate in Iraq and Syria by and while taunting, torturing and executing thousands of unarmed prisoners. Men and boys who stayed in their villages were compelled to convert and join the ISIS army, or were summarily shot, crucified, beheaded, dismembered, or buried or burned alive.

During the Hundred Years’ War (1337-1453), English soldiers and brigands roamed France, torturing and murdering citizens with the same perverse predation. ISIS’s burning captured Jordanian pilot Lieutenant Moaz al-Kasasbeh alive in a cage is similar to the fate suffered by some prisoners in Bluebeard’s time. But death by fire as legal punishment is unprecedented in the modern era, even in the war-torn Middle East, and is considered heinous and barbaric.

ISIS extremist machinations began stunning the world in August 2014, when it proudly released its video showing American journalist James Foley being horrifically beheaded. His executioner, hiding behind a black mask and speaking perfect English with a British accent, threatened the US and its allies with more beheadings, unless they discontinued airstrikes against ISIS troops and the regions it held.

When they beheaded another U.S. freelance journalist and British and American aid workers, United Kingdom Prime Minister David Cameron accurately called them monsters, underscoring how brutality and derangement are often complimentary in war. Japan’s chief cabinet secretary, Yoshihide Suga, described the online video of the recent beheading of journalist Kenji Goto as terrorist propaganda.

These bloodthirsty executions have elevated ISIS’s status in the extremist world, with thousands of disoriented, hot-headed freaks rushing to join its forces – including at least 100 from the United States and 3,000 from other Western countries.

Learning quickly from the “evil” West, it has effectively used social media, beheading videos and shocking images of Lieutenant al-Kasasbeh burning in agony, to recruit more savage butchers, terrify anyone who might think of resisting it, and frighten civilized society into denouncing ISIS, wringing its collective hands … and doing little or nothing of substance.

Blood money has poured in from bank robberies, pillaging, and revenue from stolen oil and selling victims’ organs. Using its military expertise and seized and purchased weapons, ISIS has rapidly taken over of a third of Iraq and Syria, and now proclaims this land to be a transnational Muslim caliphate.

Bluebeard, a military hero who witnessed Joan of Arc’s treatment at the hands of his sworn enemies, emerged as a cruel, deranged demon who represented the worst in humankind. He lived in a time when people believed in battles between the forces of good and evil, and was hanged for his evil deeds in 1440.

Those forces are now colliding again, as ISIS steamrolls over people and countries, its atrocious actions overwhelming almost anyone in its path. It seems clear that these fanatics are intent on continuing their relentless drive to destroy modern civilization and bring the world back to Bluebeard’s medieval era of sadism and submission, 570 years ago.

ISIS under al-Baghdadi publically fought with Ayman al-Zawahiri, the Osama bin Laden successor of al Qaeda, over the future of another al Qaeda front, al-Nusra in Syria. The al Qaeda faction became so angry with al-Baghdadi that it cut off connections with him. Then, by declaring himself caliph of the Islamic State, al-Baghdadi challenged al Qaeda leadership directly for the allegiance of all Muslim extremists.

It would be ironic if Islamic extremists in al Qaeda found ISIS too bestial and powerful to tolerate – and devised a plan to dismantle it as a threat to civilization. From his grave, Bluebeard would chortle an insane laugh, as evil battles worse evil, and civilization watches and waits from the sidelines.

Reuters News reported that Islamic State militants fighting in Iraq and Syria claimed in a video posted online on Sunday that they had beheaded American hostage Peter Kassig.

The video did not show the beheading but showed a masked man standing with a decapitated head covered in blood lying at his feet.

Speaking in English in a British accent, the man says:

"This is Peter Edward Kassig, a U.S. citizen."

No matter what Western country Muslims emigrate to or settle in…of this one thing you can be sure: They will violate freedom.

Simply look at the places in Europe they have occupied. Muslims move into a country, refuse to assimilate and then demand…under the guise of minority status…that those in the Host country bow and accommodate their beliefs/ideology.

But don’t take my word for it, here’s a past guest on my show, Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff of Austria:

Under the direction of the EU bureaucrats in Brussels — whom we did not elect and cannot remove — we Europeans are required to admit more and more third-world immigrants, most of them Muslims. Our public institutions must change to accommodate them. Our schools become centers of Islamic propaganda and serve halal food to all their students, Muslim or otherwise. 

More and more mega-mosques are being built in our cities. Multicultural “tolerance” requires that we permit fully-veiled women as employees in all occupations, public or private. And, most ominously, any criticism of Islam — or even factual accounts of Islamic history and practices — are punished by lawsuits or state prosecution.

A few years ago a Muslim policeman refused to wear his uniform due to the presence of a cross on it. The typical phenomenon of Muslim men grooming (raping) young white girls, for years denounced only by right-wing groups who as a result were accused of racism and Islamophobia, turned out to be real and now the mainstream media have started covering it. 

There have been instances of Muslim girls rejecting their school uniform and demanding to wear Muslim clothing, sometimes even suing the school using the European Convention on Human Rights and winning the case. Muslim bus and taxi drivers have not allowed blind people in their vehicles with their “unclean” guide dogs, and Muslim passengers have objected to them.

And the US is following suit with the Left (utilizing the the politics of personal destruction) pressuring Americans with their jackboot of political correctness, forcing citizens to clam up on any criticism of Islam. This is influenced by the push of the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) on Blasphemy Laws…which really only benefit Islam…Hello, Sharia Law!

The ideology of Islam does not support assimilation of Muslims into the West, nor does it tolerate individual freedom (which we treasure). Nor does it allow for the freedom of speech, enshrined in our First Amendment.

And as long as the West continues to allow this ideology (with a superiority complex) to exercise our freedoms in order to suppress our freedoms…we will watch, in real-time, the fall of human independence.

A Real Threat Exists Against Rhode Island School Children

Yesterday we shared the video about the Harvard University students who believe America is a greater global threat than ISIS. As you know, Harvard is located in Massachusetts.

Maybe those mindless lemmings should read about what just happened south of them in Rhode Island. Let me try to give them a hint — ever heard of Beslan, Russia?

Of course those empty vessels of progressive socialist indoctrination haven’t. It would be far too much to ask of them to have a clue about the real global threat, Islamo-fascism and jihadism. So here’s a little taste.

The Washington Free Beacon reports that, “Police in Rhode Island said they received a letter that contains threats to behead children in the state. The letter specifically threatens elementary school students, according to WPRO. Col. Steven McCartney tells WPRO-AM the threat specified that “beheading is planned.”

He called the nature of the threat targeting children in Warwick, Cranston, and Johnston “chilling.”

“There was a specific mention of elementary schools in this letter, the other thing which was the specific type of threat, which was beheading, is planned,” McCartney told WPRO.”

Of course, I suppose these Harvard students have already forgotten about the Chechen Tsarnaev brothers’ heinous attack in Boston last year – and have no idea it was Chechen Muslims who carried out the attack against the school children in Beslan.

You see, this is the depraved nature of the enemy, which we just continue to dismiss as we witness the cultural jihadist apologists find it easier to blame America — or even Christians — rather than place the spotlight where it belongs.

We reported here how the former Imam of the Oklahoma City mosque where beheader Alton Nolen attended is now at the Boston Islamic center (which the Tsarnaev boys attended).

Trend analysis – that’s all I am presenting — and we must take the threats seriously before another incident of “workplace violence” or worse, “schoolyard violence” occurs.

The Beacon says “the threat was sent anonymously through the mail, but police are taking it very seriously. Some parents have decided to keep their children out of school due to the threat as well. Police are trying to reassure those parents of their children’s safety.

“The intent of the Warwick Police Department is to allow the education of the students to continue safely,” McCartney told WPRO. Cranston Supt. Judith Lundsten says recess will be canceled and students will not wait outside but will enter immediately.”

Our precious American children are suffering from a mysterious respiratory illness that magically appeared after the Obama administration allowed countless illegal alien children to be dispersed and enrolled in our schools without any medical screening. And now we have an anonymous threat against their safety in a most brutal manner — and intent.

While Obama has a problem defining his strategic objective in combating Islamo-fascism, the jihadists and terrorists know exactly what their strategic objective is — to terrorize our country by inspiring “lone wolf” jihadist attacks.

You see, the problem we have in America is these cultural jihadist apologists like far left progressive socialist nutcase Eric Michael Dyson who presents an unfathomable case of relativism. He says Islam is ancient and honorable and we ignore the Christian terrorism all around us.

Just watch this little video exchange between Dyson and his guest James Peterson who makes sure to top Dyson’s stupidity by saying that Christians are just as homophobic as Muslims in the Middle East.

It’s right up there with ol’ Mikey Weinstein of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation who believes Christians professing their faith and witnessing in the military are guilty of sedition and should be court-martialed. Where in God’s name do they find these people? Harvard, I guess.

Wonder why we’re losing against ISIS? Because we can’t even admit they are indeed an enemy, an Islamic terrorist organization. We refuse to see the violent nature of Islam – it’s just a man-caused disaster and workplace violence. Everyone rushes to defend Islam, why?

But worse, why do the far left progressive socialists find it easier to join forces with the Islamo-fascists and attack Christians?

When ISIS gave Iraqi Christians their time-honored tradition of choice — convert, be subjugated, or be killed — no one on the left stood up and vehemently condemned this action. What they did was try to dismiss and apologize, or declare this wasn’t part of Islam, just something ISIS came up with.

Well, hate to burst your bubble, but beheadings were commanded by Mohammed, with the first massive beheadings at the Battle of the Trenches circa 628 AD against the Banu Quaraya tribe.

And it was his letter to Byzantine Emperor Heraclius soon thereafter when he offered the three choices to the Christian kingdom. Folks, you can find this in the Hadiths — the traditions of Mohammed — and he is deemed the “perfect man” by Muslims, that is, practicing Muslims.

Stop the damned apologizing and attacking Christians in some warped relativist argument to make yourself comfortable — the enemy is within the gates.

Today we’ve once again been exposed to the savage barbarism of Islam. ISIS executed a Western female humanitarian aid worker.

And here in Moore, Oklahoma a disgruntled “lone wolf” who had been trying to convert coworkers to Islam attacked two women, killing one by beheading her.

The 30-year-old man who remains unidentified at this point had just been fired. Thank goodness the company’s Chief Operating Officer was armed and was able to stop the killer.

I fully expect the Obama administration to classify this as “workplace violence” and for Barack Hussein Obama to admonish and lecture us all on the absurd “religion of peace” — tell that to the families of Americans who have brutally lost loved ones by the hands of these insane jihadists.

God bless these women who were savaged and their families. Molon Labe.

Radical Islam on display in Oklahoma

President Obama and other politicians are fond of reminding Americans that Islam is a “religion of peace.” Unfortunately, that message is not getting across to the millions of Muslims that adhere to a radical branch of Islam that considers non-believers to be infidels worthy of death.

Frank Gaffney of the Center for Security Policy and other experts estimate that 15% of the 1.6 billion Muslims worldwide believe in this violent form of Islam. This means there are approximately 240 million Muslims who want to kill Christians, Jews and “moderate” Muslims.

Sadly, these radicals are not confined to the Middle East. They have found a home in the United States of America, even in Moore, Oklahoma. On Thursday, Alton Nolen, who recently converted to Islam, started attacking innocent people at the Vaughan Foods processing plant. Nolen, who had tried to convert others to Islam, had recently been fired from the company.

He turned his anger into murder when he stabbed and beheaded Colleen Hufford, a co-worker, and was in the process of killing Traci Johnson before he was stopped by Mark Vaughan, the company’s Chief Operating Officer.

Fortunately, Vaughan, a reserve Oklahoma County deputy, shot Nolen before he could kill Johnson and others. According to Moore Police Sergeant Jeremy Lewis, Vaughan is a “hero,” because Nolen was “not going to stop.” Lewis believes it would “have gotten a lot worse” if not for Vaughan intervening with his firearm.

Liberals love to blame guns for violence in this country, but firearms are only an instrument, which can be used properly or improperly. What determines the outcome is the mindset of the individual pulling the trigger. In this case, Vaughan used a weapon to save lives. It is the type of incident that usually does not receive media coverage, but happens regularly in our nation.

It is much more common for an American, with proper training, to use a weapon to save a life than it is for someone to accidentally kill an innocent person. This tragedy once again highlights the importance of the right to bear arms.

It also clearly illustrates the growing threat of radical Islam in the United States. Nolen recently served several years in prison and may have converted to Islam while behind bars, like so many other prisoners in America.

While the media is underplaying his religion, it is a crucial part of this incident. It was likely a motivating factor for Nolen. He beheaded Ms. Hufford in the same manner as the Islamic State terrorists in Iraq and Syria have killed countless people, including two Americans and a British citizen.

Beheadings have become the hallmark of the Islamic State. It is a type of savagery that is gaining support for the Islamic State from deranged Muslims worldwide who emulate this horrific crime. This week, a French citizen was beheaded by a radical Islamic group in Algeria, which pledged allegiance to the Islamic State and their terrorist methods.

Obviously, the threat of Islamic terrorism is not confined to any one country. Radical Islam is becoming more of a problem in this country, which is why the FBI is investigating Nolen’s background and the incident at Vaughan Foods.

Another worrisome factor is that America is especially vulnerable due to our wide open borders. We have no idea how many Islamic State terrorists have crossed into our country. We also do not know how many Americans are converting to the radical form of Islam in our country’s prisons and mosques.

We are at war, not against terrorism or extremists, but against radical Islam. The war is not only being waged in the Middle East, but also, increasingly, in our own country.
