Alabama U.S. Senators Richard Shelby and Jeff Sessions sent a letter today to the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and the Attorney General expressing their strong objection to the consideration of two outlying airfields at Naval Air Station Whiting Field, located in Baldwin County, Alabama, as a potential location for housing illegal alien juveniles, and expressing their opposition to the Administration’s handling of the crisis at the southern border.
