Patriot Act: Most controversial section fades

Section 215 of the Patriot Act will not survive another month. The most controversial piece of the post 9/11 law that broadly expanded the federal government's surveillance powers is set to expire on June 1, as the House of Representatives gave its overwhelming approval to a far less sweeping replacement.

On a 338-to-88 vote, Republicans and Democrats registered broad support for the USA Freedom Act, which will end the National Security Agency's bulk collection of "metadata" from millions of Americans' phone records.

The legislation faces some opposition in the Senate, where Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is pushing to extend the Patriot Act with no changes. That won't happen. Other Republican senators, including at least two who are running for president, want Section 215 scrapped or curtailed, and the political tides are with them.

Some ardent civil libertarians opposed the Patriot Act from the outset, insisting, somewhat wildly, that it would leave the Bill of Rights in tatters and turn the president into a dictator. Most Americans knew better.

In the wake of the terrorist attacks, it seemed only prudent to expand the government's counterintelligence capabilities, and to change the rules that had prevented investigators from "connecting the dots" that could have alerted them to the jihadists' plans.

The hysterical alarms about dissenters being rounded up and America turning into a fascist police state gained little traction. For all the controversy they fueled, the law's key provisions — including Section 215 — were extended in 2005, 2010, and 2011.

But as September 11 recedes, the pendulum has shifted from the single-minded focus on counterterrorism and toward a heightened concern with civil liberties.

That shift has been accelerated by Edward Snowden's 2013 revelation of the NSA's metadata program: Until his leaks, almost no one knew that the government was amassing records of nearly every phone call made in the United States — date, time, duration, and number called.

The NSA claims its dragnet surveillance is allowed under Section 215. Yet no less an authority than the Patriot Act's principal author, Representative James Sensenbrenner of Wisconsin, has denounced the government's interpretation as abusive.

This month a federal appeals court agreed. The NSA's view of the law was "unprecedented and unwarranted," ruled a panel of the US Second Circuit Court in New York. It raises the "potential for invasions of privacy unimaginable in the past," and could not possibly have been what Congress intended.

It wasn't. And Congress isn't about to authorize such sweeps retroactively — one more reason that Section 215 and other parts of the law are being explicitly reined in.

Lawmakers made a point of building sunset clauses into the Patriot Act when they first enacted it a few weeks after 9/11. They knew they were moving quickly, that the enemy's tactics were apt to change over time, and that the war on terrorism, like all wars, would take a toll on truth and civil society.

To their credit, they understood that what might seem a wise and necessary enlargement of federal license in the early throes of a crisis might look like dangerous overreach just a few years down the road.

"The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield, and government to gain ground," Thomas Jefferson wrote in 1788. It was true in the 18th century; it is even truer in the 21st, when the government has access to technology of mind-boggling scope and power.

By putting expiration dates on the Patriot Act's new surveillance and counterintelligence tools, Congress ensured that debate must continue, and that the balance between safety and freedom could always be recalibrated.

Finding that point of equilibrium is perhaps the thorniest challenge any free nation faces. The preamble to the Constitution juxtaposes the need to "insure domestic tranquility [and] provide for the common defense" with an obligation to "secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity." The tension between individual freedom and national security is as old as the American republic.

Yet over time, the pull of freedom has predominated. Even the harshest critics of the Patriot Act would have to agree that by historical standards, the law's infringements were minor.

Compared with the repressions of the Alien and Sedition Acts, the internment of Japanese-Americans after Pearl Harbor, the Palmer raids of 1920, or the suspension of habeas corpus during the Lincoln administration, the burdens of the Patriot Act have been relatively slight.

Now, even those slight burdens are deemed too costly. Americans may sometimes yield their freedoms, but they don't do so for long.

Standing in the shadows of monsters

Are we on the verge of finding or losing America?

As I have moved among my fellow human beings, several elements I have learned from the experience is ultimate truth, and it is found all around the world, and in every culture.... When you display to another person that you truly love them, unless they are mentally damaged or a human deviant, they will respond in like kind. If you truly respect a person, and with love in your heart, promote their finer side, they will, in most every case, do the same to you.

Ask yourself, in your own life, how can it be otherwise? A genuine smile in front of a loving heart will pierce another soul. What you give is the seed for the life you will grow, and yet, we must admit that some men will not respond to this... where Love is an alien concept. These men, and throughout all of history, have developed another mindset... the mindset of a reprobate, and they have plagued mankind from time immemorial.

Men who have lost their way:

My definition of what it means to be a man is quite simple. It is a person who consciously chooses to accept responsibility for his own actions. Sure, sounds too simple, but this is at the core of every person... Of course this responsibility is self-designed, and different for each individual, but the concept of this duty remains constant, as the universal law of attraction.

Some try to promote what they consider to be good and right, with an amazing goal to be effectively selfless, where personal welfare is secondary to the common good, for family, country, and their God, but not always in that order, of course. This is the ideal of a hero, of honor without laurels, and they have pushed the envelop to the very limit, in war surely. but being a good husband and father too. I call them men of light. Men who are self directed... They believe that if one can find little to die for, there is little to live for.

Others find their moral code, or compass, on their selves, and forsake all empathy and responsibility for their own general welfare. They tend to place little or nothing in this life above immediate personal gratification, and since they can find little, if anything, greater than themselves, they are pulled through life by the many hooks that enslave them. They need direction, a power they trust to follow. There is hope for them, and some will gain a higher consciousness with time, and this powerful Love, I call Agape, can be understood by them in a flash of insight. These are our human brothers, no matter how lost they may find themselves.

What is this Love?

Some think that Love is a man-made concept, and an ultimate societal survival tool, and like nothing else, the veritable force that holds our humanity together. Others define Love to be God inspired... But Love, no matter the source, is not profitable in a world that judges value by a black bottom line, and some, who grasp this dark shadow as their own, no longer respond to Love, even denying it exists as they laughingly thwart its positive effects.

In our world, Love is not our guiding force, fear is. Fear is the primary factor, the underlining motivator for every human deed. If an institution can promote fear, and it is unresolved, people will do anything to survive, even living in slavery. This is the fuel for all power and control. And yet, when you find something higher than yourself to fight for, fear dissipates.

A monster:

There is another human entity who lives in the folds of our humanity, and they can only be described as monsters. I call them men of shadows, because they are so very good at hiding. In fact, this degenerate race of men not only vie to control the entire world with their evil mindset, but will use our own free will of Love to control us. They will use a mother's love to sell a bogus drug or inoculation, a father's responsibility to protect his family, while stripping them both of freedom and liberty.

They will try to control, by subliminal messaging, the minds of our children from a black box in our living room, or through the institution of indoctrination in the guise of education ... And they do far worse: they enslave by debt, and seek to control our very souls by their lascivious media lies. wrathful and vengeful violence as entertainment, and atrocious propaganda and pornography that can reach those we try to protect.

In the process of this convolution, from every direction, they win over a portion of our weakest humanity to do their evil bidding, and they mimic the very mindset of their masters. Look around, you will see these zombies everywhere. Mindless, and without a will of their own... they are mostly incapable of an original thought, and so make the perfect slave.

Ethics:

One might make the argument that selfless men are more capable of finding joy in their lives, something considered long-lasting. It is stated that this super Love, called agape, can be attained only by a pure self-less spirit, and though unattainable by the fallibility of men, it is his ultimate goal, and reason for being... But who, as a human being, can define themselves by ether of these strict descriptions?

All of us are a complex combination of both, depending on life's circumstances, and teachings. The Catholic Ideology of Situation Ethics is, to me, a good description of these selfless/selfish expressions, where we mix up good and bad and right and wrong. Situation Ethics is a worthy study, a method to find strength, conviction, and solace in your life. You don't have to be a Catholic to see this Philosophy, as it is a description of our spiritual and intellectual side, working in conjunction.

In the shadow of monsters?

A study of the world of men show that these life-personifications might not be flexible enough to withstand the constant onslaught of a power-structure designed to thrive in a world of ciaos. There is little profit in peace, earnings have no stop if unchecked, and it seems that to battle an all consuming fire, fire must be used. But this would indeed change the righteous man to be a monster too, even as in their heart they know that light will curse the darkness.

Men of shadows know that to control a populous, Love will have to be eliminated, and when civilizations are bombed into oblivion, killing their loved ones in the process, only monsters will survive. Men will pick up arms and travel across a continent killing everything in their wake, as we see now in the Middle East, and they are putty in the hands of the monster men of shadows... because they have nothing else to lose. Their lives are masterfully manipulated in the shadows their masters cast...

The tools of our shadow masters:

Who, as you stand among your fellow men, have found true solace? Who have found peace and harmony in their hearts? Loved ones get sick and die, years of hard work will vanish from savings in a trend, and we grasp the fearful unknown with blind faith as our eminent death weighs heavy. We hope our faith is the one true faith, and it will insure that we live forever in peace without suffering, and in the process to find this nebulous solace, our mind becomes glaciated, galvanized in fear to believe you have found the ultimate truth.

And as time moves fast, we are told that we must make a decision before we die, as after will be too late... and we are told not to waste these waning moments that grow more and more precious with each passing day... And as we see the light in this metaphorical tunnel grow brighter and more vivid in our mind's eye... we become more desperate, more opinionated, less tolerant of other faiths, as we try to quell the fear buried in our hearts... These are but some of the tools that monsters use to control us... One philosopher of antiquity addressed these inhibitors to happiness and Joy, and was Thomas Jefferson's favorite philosopher writer, other than the teachings of Jesus... They called him Epicurus, and he is another worthy study.

Our human breed, and the question of identity:

Let us consider the feminist movement, the civil rights movement, The Labor movement, The Skeptical movement, The Tea Party Movement, The Liberty Movement, The Progressive movement, The Libertarian Movement, The Neoconservative Movement, the Communistic Movement, the Socialistic movement, the Anti-globalization Movement, the Anti-nuclear Movement, the Anti-consumerism Movement, the 9/11 Truth Movement, the Arab Spring Movement, the Zionist Movement, the Anti-war Movement, the Civil Rights Movement, the Black Consciousness Movement, as they all beg a question,

Are they freeing us, giving us Liberty from tyranny? Or are they wrapping our society in a straight-jacket, a cocoon wound tight with intolerant separation and voluntary servitude... To say for instance that Liberty is God given, and yet must be fought for with each generation, inhibits us from ever enjoying true Liberty, as we are in constant war to keep it. If our objective is to find Joy and peace, it indicates we can never relax, never trust, never stop questioning reality. Is there something of a higher order that can help us to cope, to give solace, and strength of purpose? Yes, yes, there is.

Beyond human Ken:

Men have evolved and developed specific innate characteristics, though mostly denied today, and these distinctions have helped protect him and family in what one may consider a mostly inhospitable world. He found that when he used his spiritual side for hope and strength of purpose, and balanced it with a new-found intellect, they enabled him to be creative and visionary.

With these tools he could now look at the world with dreams of his own design, mimicking the creative spirit he saw in God, and this freed him from the enslaving shackles of evil design. He now yearned to find new ways, better ways that would give security, value, and reason to his life, and these creative ideas lit his mind. There are many men of light in the world today making dreams reality, and the reason we are now doubling our store of knowledge every four years.

Promises. Promises:

In wonder, and sometimes horror, men willed to harness earth, fire, and water, and in a blink have broken the nucleus of an atom for both good and evil. From spectacular dreams they harnessed power to move mountains, build roads, drill for oil, and advances in medicine and science are growing exponentially, recently cracking the genome code. Banding together for a common cause, men of light are now poised to break the back of disease and negative biological adversities that have plagued us from our very beginnings, and one of the most controversial is genetic modification.

Indeed, there is a real danger in these endeavors and on all fronts, as even in the quest for an understanding of this new technology, as some governments and institutions are doing with monsters at the helm, are seeing this knowledge just for the black bottom line, and power, without any consideration of morality. They promise us, over and over again, that they will forge a new age of reason, where mankind will triumph over all sickness, creating life, even conquering our ultimate death.

But no matter what promises monsters make, when the time tested duality of spirituality and intellect are progressively being ignored, most often, only his destructive nature will manifest. It is the law of attraction, the universal law of cause and effect, and it can be our salvation, or promote damnation as our ultimate manifest destiny. That is the gift of free will, where responsibility was borne.

The Value of Life:

Mankind scratches for knowledge; it is hard won. Men of light will formulate a new design, create amazing scientific advances for a specific purpose, like the use of lasers in fighting cancer without surgery, for instance, only to find out the technology can be used in a Star War program. The byproduct of an industry is put in drinking water by a powerful lobby who convinces government to mandate it at a lavish dinner party... and can you imagine what is being wrought by genetics all around the world, controlled by monsters?

A new technique of death, for instance, takes many individual inventions, for a completely new application... One, the perfection of visually seeing a child in the womb, along with a new curved syringe that can reach inside of the Fallopian tube, a new sedation for the mother, and a new, quick acting and so called “humane” poison can be administered directly into the heart of a child accurately, in the third trimester. It has been approved for use in New York this month. Is this the creation of men of light?

Are we working together for progress and a common cause, plowing forward for the good of mankind, learning and growing and trying to understand the fundamental elements that give our lives value? Or is morality and our consciousness becoming redundant and obsolete, with soulless decisions being made by morally deficient computer generations composing new avenues of profit without the human fingerprint of ethics?

How is giving 3000 abortions a day generating a value for the precious gift we call life? Still, we hope that progress will continue for the overall good of humanity, built by men of vision and their dreams of light... and yet we are horrified when we see otherwise, because it is out of a man of lights comprehension that a person could not hold themselves responsible for what they do, and would not show the least bit of remorse or guilt, as responsible men should feel. I can assure you, they feel justified, as they consider themselves super men, self-chosen to rule all others, and above the moral laws of both God and men.

Real monsters under the bed:

When the light of goodness, righteousness, and Love shines on this evil incarnate, they shrink away into the shadows like the roaches they are. Only in shadow can they exist.

Last year Russia and China sold American debt just before Russia's involvement with Ukraine. Amazingly, a mysterious financial entity of mega proportion, located in a country without a viable government, Belgium, bought them back. This is the workings of monsters, and it was well hidden from you... Read, “The Prince” by Machiavelli. Read it...

You are in it. Your true solace lies in the fact that there is a universal law, the law of cause and effect, as what you sow, so too will you reap, and as a great man once said, as he was being betrayed by his friends... “He who lives by the sword will die by it.” And as a responsible person of free will, you have an innate freedom to choose, where love or hate can have a place in you life.

Unlikely one world order of black ideology

As one travels to work this beautiful morning, it is hard to believe that anything evil could be hiding just beyond our field of vision. There is a cool spring breeze that smells like new growth, and the birds are excitedly building nests. Flowers are blooming, and honey bees, thought to be endangered just last year, are abundant again in my neck of the woods. A fuzzy sun is burning off a soft morning fog of pastel pink and gold, and the weatherman promises blue skies.

Moods are rising as winter disintegrates into spring, and the sidewalk on Camellia Boulevard are full of joggers, walkers with dogs, bicycles, and young women pushing baby carriages. and you see on everyone's faces, the joy of being alive... and Love fills your heart for all mankind.... and yet, there are men speeding... texting while driving, just four feet away...

What beauty and hope this wonderful world offers; what bounty and promise for all! And this is the nature of good times here in America, and the horrors that are common place all around the world has never been a reality here. Men are civil when the world is balanced, safe and sane, but all of that could change in an instant... and everything we so take for granted, can disappear with one flash of light in the sky... A flash of light that would suppress all electricity, and plunge our society back into the stone age... No, this generation has never been tested, not like that.

And if Katrina is any indication of modern man's ability to cope in tragedy, some would indeed fail miserably. The world would be filled, without a doubt, with a mixture of good and honest people, along with morally vacant opportunists. Yes, there is a negative side to our human nature, a side not normally shown in a polite society, and yet, it lurks in the heart of many desperate men. There are men who care nothing but for their own selfish concerns, and they can not appreciate this precious morning, without somehow owning it.

There are men so powerful on this planet, they could destroy us all in a whim. Men, who are poised to make profit in ciaos, and all of it beyond our human ken.

The true nature of our world...

It has been reveled that Russia has been funneling money through a California-based company called the Sea Change foundation. They are financing the most prominent and politically active anti-fossil fuel groups such as the Sierra Club and the Natural Resource Defense Counsel. They care nothing about the truth of their allegations, but want to paralyze our domestic oil-patch who are vying to be energy independent. This is nothing new.

We used the same method in 1983 when we broke the back of the USSR with false information, funding Osama ben Louden, a CIA operative, to fight Russian Boys in Afghanistan. And our so-called Saudi friends flooded the world with cheep oil, just as they are doing today, and it caused a spectacular default on what was borrowed from the World Bank, but one element was absent then... our overburdened National Debt.

In 1983 the National Debt was about six trillion, and though the Cold War attack on Russia utterly destroyed our American Oil Patch for almost a decade, we as a country could survive because our debt was low. Today we are at 18.3 trillion in debt, with two trillion unaccountable from the Pentagon, so the outcome might not be the same...

All's fair in Love and War? ...Is the justification by some in times of strife, where unfair and unpleasant competition insures survival. It is justified in dire circumstances, a competitive behavior, or nature, designed to win at any cost. Cambridge Idioms Dictionary, 2nd ed.

And so, just as there are men who would do anything to endure, so too are there Countries, Corporations, Religions, and Institutions, who would do anything at all to survive. They would risk the entire destruction of the human race, to win. And so we have, laid out before us. an ever shrinking world, a fragile world where men are vying for world dominance, and others who would do anything at all to survive. Money indeed makes the world go round, but fear is the grease that oils that machine, and blood is the fuel.

At no time in the history of the world has this competition been more dangerous, as they strive for a black bottom line...

Energy, the catalyst for war.

We Libertarians see the need to be energy independent, and our Republic based on Constitutional Law reanimated. We see these endeavors to be of utmost importance for our very survival, and there is a primary world-wide undertaking to do the same. There is a push from the bottom up to become self-directed and self-reliant, to regain sovereignty from foreign banks and international industry who control their individual countries with debt slavery, and to have a hand, by the people, in formulating a viable future... a future that belongs to them, and their children.

They are questioning the powerful lobbyists buying favors in their respective governments. a process that has grown so omnipotent they control not only the purse strings of the populous, but their minds by scientifically designed indoctrination and propaganda... So well hidden, clandestine and ultra-secretive, truth is virtually impossible to gather, and without truth, no viable decision can be made.... We are well played, and this realization is causing emotional and irrational fear, a perfect catalyst for war.

When we question what can only be considered our masters, here in America, we are labeled social deviants, with words like anti Semitic, Truthers, Conspiracy Theorists, Terrorists, and many more, and all of it designed to silence dissension.

OPEC is now found to be another driving force behind the anti-fracking movies, Gasland and Promised Land, with billionaire activist Tom Steyer's announcement that he will fund 100 million to any candidate who opposes the Keystone pipeline. You see, his stance on this might be for what he thinks is the good of America, but most likely it is because it would damage one of his investments.

It is said that America is bought and paid for, that we have the best Congress money can buy. Observance of elections indicate they are fixed, and that both sides of the isle are mostly complicit to a higher power structure, above not only our rule of law, but are unaccountable to any authority. If that doesn't concern you nothing on this earth will.

Though I do not speak for the Libertarian Party on Keystone, I agree with Steyer, and oppose it wholeheartedly. I argue against any pipeline coming into my country, be it from Mexico or Canada. How is that good for America? We have all of the natural resources we need right here, so why not drill here, drill now?

Why should we, as a nation, care one iota what an international company's bottom line should be? The benchmark should have one criteria, and one only: Is it good for America? The Keystone pipeline would slice through the center of the United States, with right-of-way mandates to property owners. If this was during a time of war, that possibility might exist under the War Powers Act, but this is something else entirely, and not for National Security.

As we stand back, we see that it is nothing more then one corporation's lobbying and propaganda over another... No other alternative should be considered but to keep America viable and healthy. That is our primary National Security concern, not corporate profit...

Canada does not want refineries. They are too dirty in many ways. No, they want to send their low quality crude to Texas and Louisiana, our Cancer Alley. Would you like to speculate as to why we are having so much cancer here? And they will buy our Congress to approve it, as they are unrelenting in their goals, putting their profit before the good of America. If push went to shove, you can believe it! They they would step on our heads to go up and over.

When I was in Saudi back in 2006, it was common knowledge there that the once great oil-gushers were drying up. Where once we had a 95-5 oil water ratio, it was now 45-55. Of the three wells I helped drill there, all of them were Natural Gas. Not one of them went on line, but were capped, waiting for a future, more lucrative market, and a black bottom line. At that time Saudi had no idea that America ingenuity would produce the science of fracking, a veritable bonanza, a twenty fold, or more, increase in production for the same drilling and exploration cost... So hold on to your hard hats!

Lets go, one more time to the downfall of Russia... and Iran, and look at why.

A coordinated effort was put forth utilizing the Mossad and CIA, and in that process of deception, we trained Osama Ben Louden and his tribe to fight Russian Boys in Afghanistan, thwarting their efforts to build a pipeline there, in a quagmire of blood and sand. That history describes their own Vietnam... Overextended by the West's Central Banks... the debts were called. There was no quantitative easing for them, and they fell hard in what can only be described as foreclosure.

Do you think they have forgotten this? And yet, in the process, a process that produced a moral and human rights revolution, they expelled the power structure that created its brand of totalitarian Communism during the blood bath of the Bolshevik Revolution, a undemocratic morph of Marxist Communism, and in the ashes, a new Russia emerged... a Christian Russia. A Capitalistic Russia. A competitive Russia.

Are you ready? Here is what we have today... our world... in a nutshell...

What I will show below are only the main feelers, tentacles that permeate from one power source to another... Power structures that were built on the ashes of previous civilizations who feel in war and famine, and all of it orchestrated by the tools of religious dogma, high finance, propaganda and deception, to promote their competitive power structures... and each, if they could find a way to survive it, would destroy every other form of rivalry... This is the catalyst for war.

The politics of Saudi Arabia takes place in the context of an absolute monarchy founded upon the tenets of Islam, where Mecca is located. Said to be our friends, most all of their population might be considered anti west extremists, and hate the Monarchy who controls them... Almost every person involved in the attack of 9-11 were Saudi Nationals. The power structure there is attempting to manipulate the world's resources, so that they can still be at the pentacle of supply. They are now destroying our American Oil fields for that reason... a true catalyst for war.

The new Federation of Russia is now vying to be considered a Christian nation, as they constitute about 50 percent of the population, with the largest tradition being the Russian Orthodox Church. Official statistical information indicates that there are 68 patriarchies of the Russian Orthodox Church, and they were not friends with the Jewish Oligarchy who controlled their country, nor Catholics, or the multitudes of Protestant denominations.

Though there are areas where Jews live in peace, the Russian mafia, mostly Jewish, has scattered to the four winds. Taking power during the Bolshevik Revolution, they were expelled in stages, with the last actually being arrested, or fleeing to England and America just a decade ago. They, Russia, remember well the hardships imposed by Mossad and the CIA, and this sticks in their craw. They consider the United States of America under the dominion of these same Jewish Oligarchs, who tried to control Europe since WW1.

They are in bed with Iran, who were also raped by Mossad and the CIA, stealing oil, and displacing a duly elected President with a puppet dictator, The Shaw of Iran... and both now owe their existence to the competitive vacuum we created... a true catalyst for war...

The Israeli system of government is based on parliamentary democracy, and considered a Jewish Church State. Here is a truthful history of Israel and Zionism, the veritable pivot point, and the catalyst for WW3. Overwhelming evidence suggests that Israel had prior knowledge of 9-11, and their fingerprints are on the entire scenario.

We have so called Progressives on both sides of the isle, some called ultra right wing Neocons on the Right, and they all take their marching orders from the same Zionist dominated hand, the Federal Reserve and Central Banks, with atheists to the left and Evangelicals to the right doing their bidding, and all of it a dog and pony show for the elite. Yes, during the election there is a clear division of ideology, but after the election it is business as usual.

Zionist AIPAC, it the largest of all lobbyists in the US, and they control our country from the inside out. No president is allowed that office without symbolically praying at the wailing wall...

Each and every power structure I have presented here, and thousands more on this earth, with secret societies in every fold, would, if they could, take it all from the others. This is the reason wars are fought, and why we die by the millions. A one world order will happen when one faction grows so big, that all resistance from the others are futile.

This can only happen if the world is laid to waist and a new world order is erected by the winner is built on the ashes. Our differences now, just as they were in the past, are used as a reason for war, but in actuality it has nothing to do with that... War is a racket, and the true reason for war is profit and power.

Wrap you mind around this...

Humanity lost between 40 and 58 million during WW2. World War 1, between 15 and 31 million. The Three Kingdoms of China killed between 36 and 37 million... The Mongol Conquests between 30 and 45 million, and the Qing dynasty conquest of Ming accurate at 25 million... and this is but a tip of the blade.

The Soviet Union under Joseph Stalin, the People's Republic of China under Mao Zedong, and the Khmer Rouge of Cambodia estimate the total number of non-combatant deaths to be between 60 and 70 million. Was this collateral damage, or was it something far more diabolical? It is competition, and it is corporate in design. Go to the Builtmore Mansion in South Carolina and look at what riches are wrought during the war enterprise, well planned and orchestrated...

There will be great resistance to a One World Order, and not just from each individual power structure. Resistance will also come from the very center of every country, religion, and corporation, and before it is over our world will again run red. Obama promised us change, and there is no greater promoter of change than war. America is being dissected, sold off to the highest bidder, distributed, and bled dry.

What we have in our minds, what we think we are as a nation, could not be further from the truth, and as we strive to close our borders, to fight government intrusion into our lives from education, medicine, privacy, with a list a mile long... It originates from the NDAA and Patriot Act's suspension of our Bill of Rights and Constitution. We see a power so strong it can print money out of thin air, with trillions missing from the Pentagon... Trillions? What change can you forge with two trillion dollars? What can you promote, cover up, create or destroy? The Federal Reserve is a catalyst for war.

Consideration of what can we do, besides crying.

I don't have the answers to every question, but I try. It is a universal law that every question you ask will be given in like kind, so no matter what your circumstances you can find an answer to your predicament. Ask an empowering question and you will get an answer in like kind...

What can we do about it? Resistance is nothing if you are uneducated. Learn what form of government you had, and now have, and demand it back or embrace it. That choice comes from knowledge... Start with yourself first, define what you think by defining what you want, and move to combine with people of like mind. Study definitions, like what is a Progressive, what is a Neocon, and what is a Libertarian.

There is strength in numbers, but you must know yourself first.... Do your homework, and find out who you are in the middle of it all. Take action and participate in the process, and you, and others of like mind,can change this world for the better. History will attest that sometimes just a handful of people make a big difference, and that should give you solace and strength of purpose... So, above all, demand truth, as nothing is of more value to a free and open society. Truth will set you free, and be the beacon of Liberty.

Question why you feel the way you do. Be suspicious of strong ideas that pop up in your mind without reason or understanding. Any religion, institution, government or corporation who asks you to do harm to another human being should be questioned... Do your own homework, educate yourself, as that is your responsibility alone. Know that in most cases your greatest enemy is yourself, and that your inability to cope is you inability to find truth. Search for that. Without it, your quest for answers will be for nothing.

Read your Constitution and Bill of Rights, and demand it in those you elect, and hold them accountable if they falter. You can only do this if you are paying attention. Believe nothing promoted on face value, but get to the bottom of it by study. Do not trust anyone or anything with your life and soul at stake... Take responsibility for your own life first, before making any demands. And when you do participate, do it with all of the energy you can muster, because you are fighting a power of great strength of purpose, and it can change its face at will.

Know this, your life, and the life of your children depends on what you fight for, as Liberty is not free. It must be won every generation, and that takes constant vigilance. Once lost, Liberty will only be regained by the blood of Tyrants and Patriots. Be prepared for that with the knowledge and conviction that if you can find little or nothing to die for, you will find little or nothing to live for...

And remember, what you sow so shall you reap... and we will, all of us, get exactly what we deserve. If this thought gives you chills, I suggest you change your ways...

One world order of black ideology (part two)

Once, in the company of lawyers, while having a bang-bang shrimp and Pimm's Cup, they concurred: “Watch what you tell your doctor. It is a permanent record. Big Pharmacy wrote Obama Care.” They laughed, “Well, their lawyers did.”

Last month I wrote about experiences I had going to a Veteran's Administration Nutritionist, and how, along the approved path to her office was asked four times if I thought I had PTSD. That seems the push of the month there, and one must ask the question why. Here is the link to my thoughts.

Most every person paying attention will feel something akin to depression when reflecting on the state of America today. If government sees PTSD and depression as an excuse to take away second amendment rights for a select few, the ammunition for that is found in the Veteran's Administration.

Even a diminutive study of so-called MED sites will show the complexity of this issue, and how misunderstood it is generally. There are no concise reasons so many American's suffer from this most debilitating mental disorder, and the question as to why some people seem unaffected by trauma and others do not, begs a resolution. Before I finish this essay I will attempt, with my limited ability, an answer....

Seems the idea of depression is both complicated and convoluted, and finding verifiable statistics on this matter impossible from one site to another. Every page has its own reason to exist, and is under someone's promotional thumb.

A new form of designer vitamin, drug therapy from a new perspective to corner a market, and most all agendas are based on some form of conjecture, a hypothesis, or speculative point of view, and like everything in this world of men, the true reason is money, a black bottom line. That is the primary reason... and what I call a black-ideology. The following paragraph is a typical on-line MED take on PTSD and depression...
“Depression is one of the most commonly occurring disorders in PTSD. In fact, it has been found that among people who have or have had a diagnosis of PTSD, approximately 48% also had current or past depression.
People who have had PTSD at some point in their life are almost 7 times as likely as people without PTSD to also have depression. Another study found that 44.5% of people with PTSD one month after experiencing a traumatic event also had a diagnosis of depression.”
Are they two different animals?

Note here that they are alluding that PTSD and depression are two different entities, and that they sometimes coexist. Can one have PTSD and not show signs of depression? Seems so, according to this site, but not all concur.

On other sites PTSD and depression are discussed to be one and the same... that PTSD is a form of depression. Isn't a concise definition needed? Yes, but the reason it isn't is simple. The more complex an issue, the more lucrative it becomes. Make a cure lucrative, and you will have that cure tomorrow.

Yes, this issue is complicated. I'm sure it varies depending on the temperament of the person, and the severity of the trauma. But that just scratches the surface of how difficult it is to define. As I've been taught, usually the simplest definition is the most accurate, and this issue is the same.

Note here, that we have had a singular idea instilled in our minds from early childhood, from our education and social development all the way to boot camp and business, and it is this: Depression primarily comes from a person's inability to take responsibility for his own life. It manifests itself when a person is presented with a challenging situation and they can find no solution.

Depression comes for what we can not control, and then there is a realization that digs a deeper hole for them, floundering in a self-made world of hopelessness and fear, and that little or nothing in this life has any guarantee.

It is a game of toss, a competitive reality, though many would deny it. It is an illusion, as most of life is... but this is opposed to Western thought... And it is not much of a revelation to most, as this idea is found in the mind of most every man and woman in America... and that depression actually suppresses our survival instincts... Some saying even our immune system...

Let me put it another way, so it might hit home...

All of us, to the very last person, has at time felt the lash of depression. Some are frozen to inaction, and some struggle to move past it. Although the study of this phenomena is extensive, the primary reason for its amazing power over us are most always the same. It becomes manifest in our lives because of what we find, subconsciously or consciously, that we can not control.

When we can not find truth, we can not make a viable decision.... and depression takes hold, to fill that void. And this eats at every thinking person to the very quick. What can be more unsettling but to listen to a person of authority, and know emphatically they are lying, or only promoting their agenda, without regard for the dynamic and empowering revelation called truth.

Of all of the primary working motivators used as propaganda, nothing has more ability to coerce than the element of fear, and that is why we have been in alert mode since FDR, and why we have had one war after another since WW2. The promotion of fear is very lucrative... History tells us that before WW1 and 2, American sentiment was not to get involved... But we were forced, and after WW2 we have been in one military action after another.

What has changed? No, American sentiment is the same, peace and love, and men are blindly voted in promising us the moon, but we soon forget even the promise... Because life goes on, bam, bam, bam! So very optimistic! Next time, we will try again next time...

All of us have known fear. Originally, our Republic based on Law was designed so that we could revel in our differences. Our founders abhorred Church-State, and did everything in their power to protect us from that.

No matter what religion, race, or political point of view one might have, one primary element could link us to a common cause, a common denominator, our Constitution. Moments after ratification and the signing of our precious documents, there were those who plotted its undoing.

I say this with the strongest voice I can muster, as the very reason for the unraveling of our society, the depressive, lethargic, immoral, and condescension of our children, and society as a whole... as all of it stems from the destruction of our constitutional form of law. In the vacuum of truth, the void needs to be filled, and manipulative propaganda pours in from a top-heavy government who vies to be everything we need from cradle to grave.

In the process, we feel depressed, because we are slaves to an out of control system, when our very nature as human beings is to be just the opposite, Libertarians.

Thoughts on Liberty

America is not dead as long as one person has an understanding of the word Liberty. And yet, the word is not understood. Some think the word freedom and Liberty have the same meaning. They are not, in any way.

You see, we are not in the freedom movement, but the Liberty Movement. It is up to you to answer that question, you see? It is your responsibility to answer that, not mine. The key is responsibility.

You are responsible for your life, and nothing else... “All we have to fear is fear itself.” Is that true?

We are now in what can only be described as a global community. It pivots around a central concept found on a mint-green spread sheet, a balance of debt and assets. It is, in its finality, the giver of both Liberty (God given) and Slavery (man-given), as designed by those who control the monetary system. Since 1913, that has been the Federal Reserve System.

There is a reason why, an emphatic reason hard to conceive or realize, that all Federal Reserve Chairmen are Zionist Jews. They have more power then our own congress, and the reason for this I will describe in part three... Know this, and you can feel it in your chest too... This entity is so powerful, just saying this out loud fills most with fear.

Fear, the greatest of all manipulating forces... And while we fear, our country is being sold to international corporations, our gold is gone, and trillions have been stolen from the the Pentagon.

There is a reason building seven had to come down... and why we are now 18.3 trillion in debt. Yes, it is a daunting proposition, and responsible for our depressive state of affairs. What changes could you have personally wrought with two trillion dollars created out of thin air, electronically transferred and unaccountable?

The Federal Reserve is not an American institution, but something separate... There is nothing Federal about it, and they are not supposed to have any reserve. Power corrupts, the control of money corrupts, and yet we are told to trust the system. What have we become?

No place searched has explained this so-called black-ideology so eloquently, and over the eons emphatically taught, as in Machiavelli's “The Prince.”

It is required reading in every Ivy League school, and for a reason. It was even laid bear in my Catholic University, Loyola New Orleans, presented in Professor Tungate's “Process and effects of Mass Communications” class.

A noteworthy and memorable assemblage of which, at that time, considered the most informative subject forum in the department, and of course, for those less motivated, the hardest. It explained to a tyrannical King, sure-fire and time-tested methods to promote and maintain power over the populous, by unscrupulous tyranny, and hidden under the protective edge of illusion.

How to play one side against the other was of primary focus, and rendered by all forms of media without the restrictions of a normal human conscious, or moral compass. Propaganda of the highest order, scientifically sound, it was created for the primary reason and motivation for a King to flourish, to rule, to endure.

And we are, in the Liberty movement, opposed to such tactics, this motility of totalitarian dominance. Of course I do not speak for all Libertarians, but Liberty from tyranny is the main tenant of the movement.

We want our Republic based on Constitutional law restored, and some are prepared not only to work for that end, but to risk everything, even our lives, to make it so. It is a powerful affirmation, a Libertarian point of view... You see, if one can find little or nothing to die for, one can find little or nothing to live for, and that in essence is the force behind the most powerful Liberty shibboleth: “Give me Liberty, or give me death.”

This precept transcends all we may hold dear in this life, as we weigh our Liberty to have a God-inspired substance. Liberty is not grated by tyrants, not in this world, but won. And every generation must win it for themselves... If they do not, if they become passive, inactive, or lethargically non-responsive, they will quickly lose it. And once gone, only blood will get it back. A tyrant will do anything to stay in power, and this is beyond the ken of moral and ethical people.

No chronicled depiction in human history has more validity and proof... No shout ever recorded from the lips of our founding countrymen has more value to a patriot then this singularity: Liberty is bought by the blood of Tyrants and Patriots...

When the curtain falls, as do all empires built by the lust of ignoble men, one side will hunt down the opposition to the last man, be they patriots or tyrants. There is no guarantee. And yet we believe, as a people, that there is a law, a universal law... and it is as gleaming to an artist who finds the golden ratio in everything he so loves.

The law of cause and effect guides our minds of reason, of reality, of intellect... and it states that we will all, to the very last man, get our just reward. This goes for all of the worlds created by men, his inspired religions based on fear, his corporations based on greed, his country based on tyranny, and all of it encompassed in a universal law of what you sow, so too will you reap.

There seems to be hope in that, hope that it will all turn around by the hand of God, but it is not found in the reality of nature. If you want to survive in this world, you must stand up to the opposition, and if you do not, you will be eaten alive.

That sir, is the true law of nature. And know this, there is a repercussion to our actions called “blow-back” and it is a powerful concept for those who want to learn by previous mistakes. Each of us are responsible, not only by what we do, but by what we allow others to do in our name.

Every institution, be it a religion, corporation, or government, wants to spread its influence outward, and if its power is strong enough, to ultimately dominate the entire world. If opportunity presents itself, it is human nature to push forward. Seems a simple concept, but one not easily understood, because good people of moral conscience tends to have faith in their fellow man, and think that others have the same mindset, and want what is good for all. This is not true, and though the ideal that coexistence might be created for mutual benefit, in the real world one facet will always seek advancement over the other. Never in the history of mankind has one group coexisted with another for very long, putting the general welfare of another group over their own. Sure, men with mutual interests do unite to fight a common foe, in time of war more often, and too, to create a competitive edge, but if that danger is eradicated, the partnership will soon dissolve, as each will try to absorb the other... On face value, the whole idea of an idealistic coexistence is a farce, as both sides will soon vie for power and control over the other. With Christian Love in your hearts, you oppose others who use your sensitivity to control you. You choose friends who are motivated by vengeance and wrath, and it is a snake that will ultimately turn on you. Look at your own media, and determine if Christian ethics are promoted there, and who controls it? Tyranny laughs at those crying for Liberty.

Down the street or across the country, a valid driver's license is all you need to lawfully get behind the wheel of a car. If you've met your state's conditions to be issued a license — passed the test, submitted your fingerprints, paid the fee — there's not a state in the country that won't honor it.

A valid license to carry a firearm should be treated the same way.

In many respects, Americans who esteem the Second Amendment have reason to be upbeat these days. In opinion polls, a majority of respondents says protecting gun ownership is more important than enacting stronger gun control. Three out of four Americans would oppose a ban on private possession of handguns.

Putting their money where those convictions are, consumers turned out in droves to buy firearms during the holiday season: Though Black Friday sales generally were down last year, purchases of guns on the day after Thanksgiving went through the roof. The FBI conducted a record 175,000 background checks on Nov. 28 — an average of almost three per second — then set another record the week before Christmas.

The congressional elections, too, delivered a jolt of political adrenaline for Second Amendment stalwarts. Of the 251 candidates endorsed by the National Rifle Association in the November midterms, 229 went on to victory — a success rate of more than 90 percent.

At least in theory, gun rights are more constitutionally secure now than they have been for generations. In landmark rulings in 2008 and 2010, the Supreme Court confirmed that the Bill of Rights secures an individual right to "keep and bear arms" for self-defense, and that no state may categorically refuse to issue carry permits. Consequently, all 50 states now have laws allowing citizens to publicly carry concealed firearms, with permits issued by local or law-enforcement authorities.

To be sure, criteria vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. Most states issue concealed-carry permits automatically to anyone who meets the requisite criteria (e.g., minimum age, safety training, background check); a handful make it more difficult, requiring applicants to show "good cause" for a gun permit, and giving officials broad discretion in deciding which applications to approve.

Of course there are differences among the states when it comes to all kinds of administrative acts and effects — driver's licenses being an obvious example. Oklahoma has its own rules, forms, and requirements for issuing a driver's permit, many of which may differ from those imposed by California, Massachusetts, or New Jersey. Nonetheless, reciprocity and common-sense supersede state lines. Once Oklahoma issues a license to a driver who meets its conditions, every other state defers to its judgment.

The case for reciprocity ought to be just as compelling when it comes to carry permits for guns. Indeed, more compelling: The Bill of Rights makes no reference to driving, but it does command that "the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." Constitutional liberties don't evaporate at state borders. If your driver's license is valid everywhere, the validity of your gun permit should go without saying.

But it hasn't gone without saying. Though many states extend reciprocal recognition to carry permits issued by other states, others don't. An unwary motorist crossing into a hardline anti-gun state can find herself arrested, searched, prosecuted for unlawful possession of a firearm, and threatened with imprisonment as a felon — even though she had scrupulously adhered to her own state's requirements for owning and safely carrying a weapon.

That was what happened to Shaneen Allen, a working mother from Philadelphia, who drove to Atlantic City last spring, unaware that the gun she was lawfully entitled to carry in Pennsylvania made her a criminal once she entered New Jersey.

Under the glare of media publicity, prosecutors eventually walked back their threat to jail Allen. Yet it is alarming that anyone should face prosecution for peacefully exercising a constitutional right.

Legislation introduced in Congress would fix the problem by mandating interstate "right-to-carry reciprocity" — effectively requiring any state that issues gun-carry licenses to recognize those issued in other states.

States have always had broad leeway to make their own public policy; the Constitution's "full faith and credit" principle doesn't insist that all state laws be homogenized. But states cannot just disallow Second Amendment rights exercised in good faith by honest citizens from other states.

The driver's license in your wallet is accepted everywhere as prima facie evidence that you are competent to drive. The concealed-carry permit you keep right next to it should be given the same respect.

On October 7, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals struck down Idaho's ban on same-sex marriage. On Oct. 15, county clerks in the state for the first time issued marriage licenses to gay and lesbian couples.

Then, five days later came startling news out of the Idaho resort town of Coeur d'Alene: Two Christian ministers, owners of the Hitching Post Wedding Chapel, had reportedly been told by local officials that they were now required to perform same-sex weddings, or risk fines of up to $1,000 and as much as six months in jail if they refused.

Under the city's antidiscrimination ordinance, the Hitching Post is considered "a place of public accommodation," and refusing to marry couples on the basis of sexual orientation was no longer a legal option.

So the two ministers, Donald and Evelyn Knapp, filed a lawsuit, seeking to block the city from forcing them to host same-sex ceremonies in violation of their sincere religious beliefs. "The Knapps are in fear that if they exercise their First Amendment rights they will be cited, prosecuted, and sent to jail," their attorney told reporters.

At first blush, the story seemed to confirm the grimmest forebodings of those who have warned that the gay marriage juggernaut will roll right over religious liberty concerns. Was the government really threatening to jail clergy who refused to perform same-sex weddings?

The short answer: No, it hasn't come to that — at least not yet. The Knapps weren't charged with any violation, and since they recently reincorporated the Hitching Post as an explicitly "religious corporation" under Idaho law, it seems doubtful that any prosecutor is seriously gunning for them.

But Coeur d'Alene isn't ruling out the possibility, either. Only if the Hitching Post truly operates on a not-for-profit religious basis, City Attorney Michael Gridley wrote in an Oct. 20 letter, would the Knapps be legally exempted from the antidiscrimination ordinance "like any other church or religious association."

Conversely, if their wedding chapel provides services "primarily or substantially for profit and they discriminate in providing those services based on sexual orientation," they could be cited for breaking the law.

Should they be?

Religious convictions haven't sheltered florists, bakers, and other vendors who have declined to provide their services for same-sex ceremonies. The Supreme Court earlier this year let stand the penalty imposed on a New Mexico photographer who turned down a request to shoot a lesbian couple's commitment ceremony.

The American Civil Liberties Union argues that wedding chapels, like bakeries and photo studios, are bound by nondiscrimination law, regardless of the owners' moral beliefs. By that argument, it makes no difference that the owner of a company is an ordained minister. An operation like the Hitching Post isn't a ministry, the ACLU would say, it's a business — and the First Amendment can tell the difference.

of same-sex marriage.
Yet there is considerably more to the First Amendment than the unique protection it extends to churches. The freedom of expression it enshrines secures the right to speak no less than the right not to speak. Time and again the Supreme Court has confirmed that government may not force Americans to utter words they disbelieve or deny.

"If there is any fixed star in our constitutional constellation," Justice Robert Jackson wrote in a landmark 1943 decision that struck down a law compelling students to recite the Pledge of Allegiance, "it is that no official, high or petty, can prescribe what shall be orthodox in politics, nationalism, religion, or other matters of opinion or force citizens to confess by word or act their faith therein."

Whatever one's views on same-sex marriage — or on nondiscrimination statutes generally — it is unfathomable that ministers could be forced by law to pronounce the words of a marriage ceremony against their will. That they are being paid to perform the ceremony doesn't diminish the significance of the words they are saying, or erode their constitutional liberty to choose not to say them.

Supporters of same-sex unions have nothing to gain by forcing anyone, least of all clergy members, to officiate at weddings when it would violate their principles to do so. That is "just something we don't do in a liberal society," insists Andrew Sullivan, a stalwart advocate for gay marriage.

Concerns about what "marriage equality" is doing to religious tolerance and dissent run deep; surely the best way to allay those concerns is with respect and goodwill. As same-sex wedlock comes to Idaho, it is in everyone's interest that freedom of speech and conscience not be driven out.

To understand what is going on in this world is no easy task. Lies are projected into our minds from every side, and this constant barrage of deceit envelops and taints not only our perception of reality, but enslaves us collectively into a state of denial.

Yes, denial, most likely the best mechanism we can use to keep our sanity as human beings, but all of us, seemingly united in what can only be called human nature, just hates to be played the fool... and knowing this, that there is a point where some will say “enough is enough,” solace and hope can still give us a worthy standard of purpose...

A playground bully stealing our lunch money as a kid, feels the same as a government stealing your future as an adult, and most have been taught to turn a blind eye. It is justified, we are told, by a fight or flight response that tells us to choose our battles, even as we are swept along by them.

We have learned to turn a blind eye to the strong currents under the surface of our civilization, undermining the very framework of our Republic... Ignorance is bliss, I’ve heard said laughingly, and we are indeed what we think we are as a product of our environment... Sure, it’s easy to say these idioms, and with feeling too, like they are justifications in their own right. Justifications for the blind faith that not only motivates us, but keeps us safe to fight another day. But the day of reckoning does come, as is witnessed all around the world... when people finally have enough.

Sometimes we think we are just too close to this life to see what it’s really all about. We are so busy, so caught up with our tangled lives that we fail to grasp but a portion of the total picture... Memory is fuzzy, history is distorted by bias, and time just presses on... It’s unsettling when a few pieces of the puzzle emerges after the fact, and we can glimpse, even for just a moment, that our reality has been carefully fed to us, orchestrated, manipulated, influenced, and truth withheld from us with the inflection that we are mindless fools...

Does our life still have meaning if our reasoning rational is found to be based on a lie? Should we feel betrayed if our thoughts were discovered to be manipulated? Could we ever truly trust authority again, knowing we have been used without our knowledge? Are we considered just working fools, beasts of burden, where the forces of power strive to control our thoughts, our behaviors, and what we hold sacred as a nation is treated as if it is all a farce?

Is there such a thing as a noble cause? And is there any cause worth dying for?


It is human nature to try and justify the workings of the world, and yes, to manipulate them with our will. We would like to believe that a young man who goes to war these days has a justified reason to do so. He is placing his life in real danger for a real ideal, isn’t he? Shouldn’t he be there because he sees a noble cause? Shouldn't an ideal come first?

And shouldn't it be strong enough to rouse him, by the passion of honesty and truth, without being manipulated by a lie, or forced by a draft? Shouldn’t war, even a cold war, have a true reason, and shouldn't that reason be based on a justifiable accolade? How can we uphold our actions as a nation when we aren’t informed as to why we take action it in the first place? Would we consent to go to war for the profit of an international war machine? I don't think so... and, without a doubt, that is the reason for the lie!

The light of truth, after the fact

Ronald Reagan is said to be one of the 100 most influential people in the 20th century. As he occupied the White House in the mid-1980’s he accentuated two things that I will attempt to explain here. One, as an ultra-conservative, he implemented a free enterprise fiscal policy, including sweeping tax cuts and deregulation of the oil industry, and two, swore to tip the balance of the cold war.

Mr. Reagan succeeded on both counts, but there was a price to pay, and we Americans in the south, unknowingly, paid for it dearly…

Our southern economy did not entirely survive the 1980’s, we had to start mostly from scratch, as seven of our 10 local banks went belly up... I left three companies, from mergers to bankruptcy, and Louisiana and Texas was devastated. I read the paper every day for information and hope, but oil prices continued to plummet, and good hard-working people lost everything in an avalanche of ruined dreams and hopes. No one I knew could tell me why...

I did what I had to do to survive, as so many oil-field workers did: to keep food on the table. Our wives and children helped pull us through, combining salaries to get by. In 1986 it was so bad that I couldn’t even find a house to paint. I left the states to work in a hotel for two years, displacing my family and leaving my friends behind. I couldn’t sell my house in Crowley for 1/5th of what I still owed on it! I had a bumper sticker that read:”Last one out turn out the lights.”

I blamed myself. If I could have been smarter, stronger, or positioned myself better… I thought that the new environmental liberals had fined the oil companies out of existence. I thought it was a normal correction, but I couldn’t figure out for what! I was wrong. I was too close to it to understand, we all were, and information, the truth, wasn’t published.

Here are a couple of points to ponder:
• Congress did away with tax benefits previously given to oil and gas drilling.
• There were massive and unprecedented tax reforms, by the White House.
• There was an undeniable link between the oil industry, the Saudis, and the eventual collapse of the USSR
.
With no more investment dollars, the oil industry dried up to a burned out shell, and the Soviet Union took it full on the chin. It was a “geopolitical blow” according to the book: Victory: The Reagan Administration’s Secret Strategy that hastened the Collapse of the Soviet Union, by Peter Schweizer.

By the time Mr. Reagan was reelected in 1984, his secret economic strategies were taking its toll against Russia. Credit from the west was gone, and export licenses for technology were denied. Both liquid currency and traded Western technology slowed to a trickle. The Siberian pipeline, expected to bring in hard currency for Russia, was years behind schedule. The Reagan administration frustrated efforts further by a concerted technical disinformation program against them.

These catalysts were in place. “We wanted lower international oil prices largely for the benefit of the American economy.” Said White House counsel Edwin Meese. “The fact that it meant trouble for Moscow was icing on the cake.” To pull this off, they solicited the support of the world’s largest producer of oil, Saudi Arabia... and as we poured over the paper for any sign of reason and hope, nothing of this was mentioned... I may have believed Mr. Meese's words having a morning cup of coffee with other unemployed Mud Men... but not now. His words were lies.

It was easy for the Saudis to do. It only cost about $1.50 back then to produce a barrel of oil, and they could still maintain a healthy profit at a lower market price. Intelligence has found since then, according to Mr. Schweizer, that the USSR had an annual loss of $13 billion from this oil price drop.

The end came when the Soviets tried to borrow more from the west. With lack of funds, projects died. Disinformation made it weak, furthered by the devaluation of the dollar …but it was oil prices that finally shut the doors.

The country collapsed in 1991... as they were fighting their Vietnam in Afghanistan, and as our CIA operative Osama ben Laden harassed Russian boys with US made weapons, trying to protect their National pipe line, our Military Industrial Complex made billions selling arms. It wasn't mentioned in our National Newspapers that we wanted control of the poppy fields that supply Europe with high grade opium for distribution around the world... And our solders are there guarding those crop even today...It was opium that killed two of my shipmates in the Hong Kong Hilton hotel in 1970, the only men to die in that specific.

West Pacific Vietnam experience on the USS Kitty Hawk... another profitable venture for the arms trade... and what was it for? Democracy? We actually lost the war? But not everyone lost, though over 80 thousand came back in body bags, about the number of people, for a perspective, now living in Lafayette... the international arms industry profited very well, and new tax structures took industry from our shores to theirs... Korea, Japan, Cambodia, Vietnam, China...

What National Security?

So what are the almighty powers of our monstrous centralized government doing with our lives now? Can we figure out the strategy they seem to set for reasons known only to them? Insider trading is lucrative, but unless you have a crystal ball everything you do is based on a speculation... Do you think the international banks and the Federal Reserve makes decisions based on speculation? Oh, did I say that? That would mean they have a common interest, and it is taboo to use the word conspiracy.

Is the lack of information considered a lie? Are we talking about national security here, or is it purely about big bucks, or possibly just the power to control the masses? Of course, we must realize too, that a certain amount of secrecy is necessary for security reasons.

So trust is an issue also. We have to trust that the people in power in America have our Liberty and welfare as the primary goal, and not a selfishly motivated concern, like a black bottom line for their friends.... It is so easy to do when you are totally exhausted working overtime to pay the interest on your credit cards... Fifty percent of us are either too tied up to pay attention, or too tired to care, and that is a speculative guess too....

Mr. Reagan, bless his heart, knew these answers well, because he and his government created the questions... and they are lost now to a man who sat and dreamed by his sunny window with Alzheimer disease... for years before his death. What was lost to him, to all of us, is beyond measure.

It seems that what we are is what we are told to be, and by that process our freedom to rationally choose is taken away, and our American Dreams will remain just that... Sure, our founders told us that we the people must pull the reigns of our government, but looking at the world, and our influence on it, that could not be further from the truth... and that, I am sorry to say, is the real truth of our reality.

I'll end this with a couple of questions: “Do you think the USSR, that morphed into the Soviet Union, doesn't remember those times? Do you think the KGB no longer exists? Do you think that forgiveness is in their heart, as they now consider themselves an Orthodox Christian nation?

Author's note: I read the life of Ron Paul in a little essay by Mrs. Ron Paul called The American Dream. His life is an open book. It is no wonder he was so hated by those who had to seal Obama's life's work from view... from school transcripts to police records, by a court order. I have to take pause...
