NYPD says dump Mayor de Blasio

Funeral for fallen cop: NYPD asks New Yorkers to dump Mayor Bill de Blasio by Jim Kouri at the Examiner.com

Mayor Loses Support of the NYPD
The display of thousands of law enforcement officials representing departments and agencies throughout the country standing in the streets of the Queens section of New York City on Saturday, to honor one of two police officers assassinated last week, was a sight not seen since the large number police and firefighter funerals following the 9-11 terrorist attack.

But despite Mayor Bill de Blasio's well-written comments during the service -- such as when he said the departed Officer Rafael Ramos was a devoted family man, aspiring chaplain and hero -- the animosity felt by cops for a mayor they say threw them under the bus could not be subdued by one flowery speech.

Although the cops sitting and standing inside the Christ Tabernacle Catholic Church behaved politely as Mayor de Blasio spoke, scores of New York's Finest outside on the streets turned their backs as he and his wife passed to demonstrate their distaste for his defense and out-and-out support for anti-police protesters.

While the liberal-left politicians and news outlets downplayed the violence and hate-filled speech directed at police, amateur videos showed protest marchers encouraging the killing of police officers.

One officer who turned his back during de Blasio’s speech said that the mayor is all talk.“He’s just being a politician like the others [Vice President Joe Biden and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo], but even before he was elected mayor, he was anti-cop,” said the officer. “As far as I'm concerned, He’s no mayor of my city.”

"I noticed that at least [President Barack] Obama and [Attorney General Eric] Holder didn't show up. They knew it would have been a bad time for their photo ops. At least, de Blasio had the stones to show up and take the heat," said a former New York police detective, Ronald Knudsen.

New York City's Police Benevolent Association union officials minced no words in their blaming de Blasio for his posturing and his anti-police sentiment.

It was obvious to anyone watching and listening to de Blasio he supported the angry protests when it was announced that no charges were filed in the police deaths of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, and Eric Garner in New York.

Saturday's funeral was not the first time NYPD officers gave Mayor de Blasio a sign of their disrespect. At a hospital after the officers' died, the police union's president, Patrick Lynch, and others turned their backs on de Blasio. Lynch went as far as saying that the Democrat mayor had "blood on his hands."

Even before the cop-killings, Lynch, who spent his adult life as a cop, had urged NYPD officers to sign a petition that would forbid the mayor's attendance or participation in the funerals of fallen police officers who die in the line of duty.

The news media attempted to portray de Blasio as showing support for the NYPD since the shootings by a black Muslim repeat-offender, pointing to how he urged protesters to take time off from their demonstrations and marches.

But even one of his best friends, Rev. Al Sharpton, for whom de Blasio's wife once worked, continued the marches and protests.

Mobocracy: A growing unchecked mob mentality

Post-Ferguson murder and mayhem: US descending into mobocracy? from the files of Colonel Allen B. West

Visit the Allen B. West Website
These United States of America are a Constitutional Republic based upon the rule of law and the consent of the governed. It is a place where the governed have their voices heard by way of a representative democracy. However, based on the recent events over the past week resulting from the grand jury verdict in Ferguson, Missouri perhaps the rule of law means little — that we are no longer operating under an established system of judicial process.

If the death of 20-year-old DeAndre Joshua, shot in the front seat of his car in Ferguson, is found to be retribution because he provided witness testimony in the case against Michael Brown, our society is in grave danger.

We are now being held hostage to the definition of social justice as interpreted by a few who have eschewed democracy, with the help of leftist community organizers who now instill fear, intimidation, coercion, and threat by way of mobocracy.

It was supposed to be the opening of the Christmas season for shoppers, known as “Black Friday” — I guess that’s not racist — but there were those who had another objective. As reported by the UK Daily Mail, “Ferguson protesters have clashed with police across the US after taking to the streets and occupying malls in a day of demonstrations over the shooting of unarmed teen Michael Brown.”

“Hundreds of people interrupted holiday shopping at major retailers around the country to protest a grand jury’s decision not to indict the officer who fatally shot the 18-year-old protesters dubbed the day ‘Brown Friday’ or ‘Blackout Black Friday’. In San Francisco crowds used hammers to smash the windows of stores in the city’s touristy Union Square.

Demonstrators temporarily shut down three large malls in suburban St. Louis on one of the busiest shopping days of the year and then marched in front of the Ferguson police department. The action prompted authorities to close the mall for about an hour Friday afternoon, while a similar protest of about 50 people had the same effect at West County Mall in nearby Des Peres. Even in Seattle at the Westlake Center a Christmas tree lighting ceremony was disrupted by more of these organized mobs.”

One has to wonder, what is there to gain for the so-called “cause” at this point? And what do parents say to their kids when they’re exposed to loud, raucous, and sometimes masked demonstrators?

Do they tell their kids these people are protesting because a 6’4″ 300-pound individual decided to rob a store, attack a store owner, attack a police officer, and was shot as he attempted to take a law enforcement officer’s weapon and then charged him?

Do they tell their children who witnessed this display of mob violence that these are people who don’t believe individuals are responsible for their actions — and that actions have consequences?

Do parents explain to their children that these people who don’t believe in the rule of law and our system of justice — just their demands and hypocritical perverted definition of social justice?

I suppose these mobs would have preferred that Michael Brown had successfully acquired Officer Darren Wilson’s sidearm and shot him. This is the same Officer Wilson who had just answered a call to help a little girl — yet Michael Brown’s mother insists that Wilson set out that day to shoot someone — not to mention the incendiary words of Brown’s step-dad inspiring the mob to “Burn this bitch down.”

Yes, that is a respectable adult example, which others should follow — demonstrably impeccable parenting skills. Perhaps the same stepdad should have spent more time imparting lessons of respect and regard for authority — or maybe even worked with Michael to seek out better opportunities for his life.

Shelby Steele’s book White Guilt and Jason Riley’s Please Stop Helping Us are applicable to the situation in Ferguson — white progressive socialists taking up the “cause” of the poor victimized young black man. However, where are all these voices, the mobs and the media when nearly 320 young black men have been killed this year in Chicago by other young black men — an epidemic spreading throughout black communities all over the country? Nah, that doesn’t fit the political narrative.

Just look at these pictures and ask yourself, is this just another example of Rahm Emanuel’s famous maxim of “never let a good crisis go to waste?” What does a Christmas tree lighting in Seattle have to do with Ferguson, Missouri — a place where most of these elitist progressive socialists have never visited?

Yes, most of these white progressives would never venture into the black community, and if so, why haven’t they gone to Chicago? And why aren’t they advocating for better educational opportunities in these communities — school choice, vouchers, charter schools, and home schooling?

Nope, ain’t happening, because the other mob — the teachers unions — will not have any of that! Why aren’t these progressive socialists going into the black communities and volunteering their time as mentors to young black men and women — teaching them about self-esteem, helping them with grades, and ending the insidious practice of giving checks to young women for having children out of wedlock — keeping black men out of the homes?

Nope, that dawg don’t hunt! It’s easier to demonstrate a false sense of caring by staging “die ins” in malls and scaring shoppers and children wanting to just enjoy the day after Thanksgiving — or a Christmas tree lighting.

And please, spare me the denigrating invectives because I grew up in the inner city with two great black parents who refused to allow me to be a part of the liberal progressive socialist economic dependency plantation.

And my wife Angela and I don’t need your definition of social justice as we are raising and explaining to our daughters what the rule of law means and ensuring that no one can withhold opportunities from them because the greatest assets and weapons are their competence and character.

I find this mob rule disgusting. I find this hijacking of the tragic death of Michael Brown inexplicably wrong. I find this mobocracy a threat to our way of life and the existence of our Republic. I find the actions of these progressive socialists deplorable and racist in itself — just another example of the “soft bigotry of low expectations.”

Holder, Jackson, Sharpton, Obama stoked the fire

Holder, Jackson, Sharpton and Obama Stoke the Fire

Yesterday evening, the District Attorney in St. Louis, a hard line, left wing Democrat, announced there would be no charges brought against Darren Wilson. Wilson is the police officer who shot a killed robber Michael Brown back in August.

As soon as the announcement was made, Ferguson exploded.

After all, nothing says you are outraged about a miscarriage of justice like looting big screen TVs, cellphones and expensive sneakers.

Let’s cut straight to the chase. This case has always been about race. If Darren Wilson had been a black officer, no one would have given this case the time of day. Darren Wilson was a police officer with a good employment record.

Michael Brown was a thug. He was a gang banger; a 6’4’’, 300 pound man who had just robbed a store.

Darren Wilson answered the call from the citizens of his community hundreds of times, never knowing what might be coming and never knowing if the day he went into work might be the day he did not come home.

And the evidence said one thing: self defense.

Don’t forget, the grand jury was given the opportunity to hear from a pathologist hired by the thug’s family. They heard all of the evidence.

Of course none of that was good enough for the left and the racial grievance industry. Racists Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and Eric Holder rushed to the scene.

The only issue to determine guilt in this case was race. It was the race of Darren Wilson and the race of Michael Brown.

Change the races of the parties and the racial grievance industry doesn’t care. If Michael Brown had not been black, Al Sharpton could not raise money off of his death.

Barack Obama, the race-baiter-in-chief, had to get on TV after the announcement from the District Attorney’s office. He called for the police to show “restraint.”

The police? The rioters are burning down buildings, looting, throwing objects that can kill and the idiot in chief wants the police to show restraint?

The racist rioters have threatened to kill police officers and according to media reports, some police family members are in hiding, for fear of the racist rioters.

While Ferguson burns, another police shooting goes ignored because it doesn’t fit the left wing narrative. In South Salt Lake Utah, an unarmed man named Dillon Taylor was shot and killed by a police officer. Taylor was white and the officer was black.

Has CNN devoted any coverage to this shooting? No. It does not fit the liberal narrative that all black men are victims and all white men are oppressors.

One St. Louis (Democrat) politician called this their “race war.” She is one of the reasons why it is a race war.

Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Eric Holder and Barack Obama are all reasons this is a race war. They have all encouraged it. They have all stoked the fires. They have done everything to make this happen.

Narrative appeared at the Tea Party Nation.
