When I look at you I see myself - Huh?

Michelle Obama tells Muslim girls from the files of Colonel Allen B. West

U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama traveled to the United Kingdom today, choosing to give a speech on female empowerment while surrounded by hijab-clad girls in the ethnically “diverse” London borough of Tower Hamlets.

Reported by Breitbart:

But the Commercial Road in Tower Hamlets, from where Mrs. Obama chose to lecture, isn’t ethnically diverse, and nor is the Mulberry School for Girls that she visited.

Tower Hamlets, which only days ago managed to shake off its Islamist-linked Mayor, boasts a Bangladeshi, Indian, and Pakistani, and otherwise Asian population. At the last census, in 2011, 39 percent of the population self-identified as Christian, while 36 percent identified as Muslim. The Muslim population of the borough is believed to have overtaken the Christian population by some way in the years since, with the next census not due until 2021.

And in Tower Hamlets, nearly 1 in 5 residents did not speak English as their first language, according to the 2011 statistics, opting instead for Bengali.

The Mulberry School for Girls, where Mrs Obama delivered her patronising ‘Let Girls Learn’ speech, is described in multiple Ofsted school inspection reports as having “nearly all students… of Bangladeshi heritage, with a very small minority from other backgrounds, including White British, Pakistani and African.”

And while the school has been rated as “very good” for a number of years, it has also played host to hard-left conferences sponsored by groups such as ‘War on Want’, which is closely tied to anti-Israel activities in the United Kingdom, the ‘Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament’ which has its roots in communist sympathising, and indeed the European Parliament.

The Mulberry Youth Conference boasts amongst its speakers Shami Chakrabarti from left-wing campaign group Liberty, now-deceased Labour MP Tony Benn, ex Labour MP Clare Short, editor of the Guardian newspaper Alan Rusbridger, anti-white racist columnist Yasmin Alibhai-Brown, hard-left activist Owen Jones, and feminist campaigner Lucy-Anne Holmes.

So why did Michelle Obama choose Tower Hamlets, and the Mulberry School for Girls?

Obama attacks religion in America

From the Warning Signs of Alan Caruba at Facts-not-Fantasy

Know Caruba's Warning Signs at Facts-not-Fantasy
Americans tend to take the liberties spelled out in the Bill of Rights for granted.

This is especially true of freedom of religion in which the First Amendment protects “the free exercise thereof” while at the same time prohibiting “an establishment of religion” to ensure that neither a state nor the federal government can stipulate a specific religion as the “official” one.

The earliest Americans came here to avoid persecution for their beliefs and created a nation in which tolerance of other faiths was an established virtue.

All of the major religions of the world condemn homosexuality and prohibit same-sex marriage. While homosexuality has gained a measure of tolerance in America many if not most Americans do not accept same-sex marriage as a “right” that can be found in the U.S. Constitution.

In the March 9 edition of the National Review, one news item noted that “The sheer brazenness of President Obama’s dissembling on gay marriage—confirmed by David Axelrod in a new book—might gall even the most hard-bitten of cynics.”

“Obama, Axelrod writes, ‘was in favor of same-sex marriages during the first presidential campaign, even as (he) publicly said he only supported civil unions, not full marriages’, but he could not admit as much for fear of losing black churchgoers. Thus it was confirmed that the ‘change’ candidate had fallen back on a ‘sacred’ religious belief he claimed to be representing, in furtherance of a policy that he now openly describes as a ‘civil right.’ There is a word for this sort of conduct. But it is not ‘hope’.”

The word is “liar”, but after six years of Obama, anyone paying any attention knows that he lies routinely and constantly no matter what the topic may be.

He lied repeatedly to secure support for the Affordable Care Act, otherwise known as ObamaCare. Passed into law by Democratic Party votes—no Republicans voted for it—the so-called contraceptive mandate has created many problems for Christians and others who are pro-life. In a similar fashion, many people of faith oppose same-sex marriage.

A new book, “Religious Freedom in America: Constitutional Roots and Contemporary Challenges”, edited by Allen D. Hertzke of the University of Oklahoma’s Institute for the American Constitutional Heritage, calls religion “an exceedingly messy area of constitutional law…because the boundaries of religion, state, and society are complex and ever shifting.”

For most Americans there is no shift in their view of marriage as a sacred rite exclusively between a man and woman. One can read the Old and New Testaments from start to finish and find no justification for same-sex marriage. From its earliest days civilization throughout the world has never deemed same-sex marriage lawful, but Americans are being told by its courts that the Constitution does.

The Founders who wrote the Constitution would be astonished to learn this.

As Mary Nussbaum wrote in the Summer 2009 edition of Dissent, “Government plays a key role in all three aspects of marriage. It confers and administers benefits. It seems, at least, to operate as an agent of recognition or the granting of dignity. And it forms alliances with religious bodies.”

“Clergy are always among those entitled to perform legally binding marriages. Religions may refuse to marry people who are eligible for state marriage and they may also agree to marry people who are ineligible for state marriage.

But much of the officially sanctioned marrying currently done in the United States is done on religious premises by religious personnel. What they are solemnizing (when there is a license granted by the state) is, however, not only a religious ritual, but also a public rite of passage, the entry into a privileged civic status.” (Emphasis added)

When the Defense of Marriage Act was being debated, Sen. Richard Byrd (D-WVA) said,
“throughout the annals of human experience, in dozens of civilizations and cultures of varying value systems, humanity has discovered that the permanent relationship between men and women is a keystone to the stability, strength, and health of human society—a relationship worthy of legal recognition and judicial protection.”
That is what’s at stake. Homosexuals have been offered “civil unions” granting them access to the government benefits that “marriage” provides, but they have regarded this as stigmatizing and degrading. They have insisted that society change and, for most who hold a strong religious faith, that is impossible for the reasons stated by Sen. Byrd.

Ms. Nussbaum concludes saying, “The future of marriage looks, in one way, a lot like its past. People will continue to unite, form families, have children, and, sometimes, split up.

What the Constitution dictates, however, is that whatever the state decides to do in this area will be done on a basis of equality. Government cannot exclude any group of citizens from the civil benefits or the expressive dignities of marriage without a compelling public interest.”

So, the 14th Amendment that guarantees the “equal protection of the law” will encompass the demand that citizens of the same sex can marry even if religions and those who see this as a threat to a well-ordered society disagree.

Religions in America, many of whom administer charities, maintain colleges and universities, and serve people of all faiths have encountered a world of problems following the passage of ObamaCare.

They are also being challenged in schools and academia, and being told that any form of public prayer is unacceptable.

Here are just a few examples:

In 2006, Boston’s Catholic Charities shut down its historical adoption program after the State of Massachusetts refused their “conscience accommodation” in its licensing requirements. The same year, Morristown, New York began prosecuting Amish home-builders for code violations.

In 2009, the U.S. Equal Opportunity Employment Commission ruled that Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina violated discrimination laws by not offering birth control in its health plan coverage. A family court in Laconia, New Hampshire ordered a Christian mother to stop home schooling her daughter because she “appeared to reflect her mother’s rigidity on questions of faith.”

In 2010, the Catholic Charities of Washington, D.C., shut down its foster care program because of mandates that violated church teaching. The following year three Illinois diocese adoption and foster care programs were shut down.

In 2011 Alabama law made it illegal for churches to serve undocumented immigrants, including baptisms, hearing confessions, anointing the sick, giving marriage counseling and providing Sunday school, Bible studies, or even providing Alcoholics Anonymous a place to meet.

In 2012 through 2014, facing huge fines for violating religious principles, more than 300 religious institutions and businesses filed lawsuits against the Health and Human Services contraceptive mandate.

As Hertzke noted, “A key measure of a free society, in sum, is the extent to which people are not forced to choose between sacred duties and citizenship privileges or obligations. This is what makes religious freedom foundational to the American constitutional order.”

In 1993 Congress seemed to have agreed. It passed the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) which states that “government shall not substantially burden a person’s exercise of religion even if the burden results from a restrictive means of furthering” a “compelling government interest.” It was signed into law by President Clinton. Four years later, the Supreme Court struck down its core in Boerne v. Flores. It ruled that RFRA was unconstitutional when applied to state and local governments, but upheld it when applied to the federal government.

Issues such as ObamaCare’s contraception mandate and same-sex marriage raise vital questions about individual religious faith and the government’s right to determine societal standards.

The question of whether religion in America is losing the battle for historical and traditional moral standards is one that affects people of faith and the society as a whole.

I have an ISIS defeat strategy: Who else does?

ISIS abducts 150 Christians; parades captives in cages: Does anyone have a strategy for defeating ISIS besides me? from the files of Colonel Allen B. West

As you know, the Obama administration completed its summit on countering violent extremism last week, and it didn’t take long for Islamic State to respond — you know, the group that’s not Islamic and doesn’t represent a religious pursuit.

As reported by Reuters, “Islamic State militants [i.e. terrorists/jihadists] have abducted at least 150 people from Assyrian Christian villages in northeastern Syria they had raided, Christian Syrian activists said on Tuesday.

A Syrian Christian group representing several NGO’s inside and outside the country said it had verified at least 150 people missing, including women, children, and elderly, who had been kidnapped by the militants [i.e. terrorists/jihadists].

“We have verified at least 150 people who have been adducted from sources on the ground,” Bassam Ishak, President of the Syriac National Council of Syria, whose family itself is from Hasaka, told Reuters from Amman.

Earlier the British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said 90 were abducted when the militants [i.e. terrorists/jihadists] carried out dawn raids on rural villages inhabited by the ancient Christian minority west of Hasaka, a city mainly held by the Kurds.”

Now, how long will we continue this charade, trying to make ourselves believe that beheading Egyptian Coptic Christians and abducting Christians is not about religion or it is not about conducting a genocide, a purging.

How do we look at our own children and explain how this type of evil is allowed to exist in today’s world? And it’s not just one group. Another Nigerian girl – this one only seven years old — has been used as a suicide bomber by Boko Haram — affiliated with ISIS.

Yes, we do have reports about some minor successes against ISIS, such as Iraqi Army forces pushing against ISIS forces in the city of al-Baghdadi. And the Kurdish Peshmerga are making a solid stand, even without firm weapons support. However, we’ve also been watching the videos of ISIS parading caged Peshmerga fighters.

Reuters reports, “Many Assyrian Christians have emigrated in the nearly four-year-long conflict in which more than 200,000 have people have been killed. Before the arrival of Kurds and Arab nomadic tribes at the end of the 19th century, Christians formed the majority in Syria’s Jazeera area, which includes Hasaka. Sunday’s offensive by Kurdish YPG militia reached within five km (3 miles) of Tel Hamis, an Islamic State-controlled town southeast of Qamishli, the Observatory said. At least 14 IS fighters died in the offensive, in which Assyrians fought alongside Kurds, it added. Eight civilians were also killed in heavy shelling by the Kurdish side, which seized several Arab villages from Islamic State control.”

It is important to note the Assyrian Christian community is one of the world’s oldest — far predating the revelations of a murderous warlord named Mohammad. And this isn’t the first time the Assyrians have faced genocidal ambitions at the hands of Muslims. The last time was during the last Islamic caliphate, the Ottoman Empire circa 1914. Doggone, history just seems to repeat itself when we fail to acknowledge evil. But then again, I should get off my high horse.

Could it be that somehow, even without the dedicated support from the United States, this cacophony of groups may be finding success against the ISIS onslaught?

“Military experts said militants were trying to open a new front to relieve pressure on Islamic State after several losses since being driven from the Syrian town of Kobani near the border with Turkey. “Islamic State are losing in several areas so they want to wage an attack on a new area,” said retired Jordanian general Fayez Dwiri.

Since driving IS from Kobani, Kurdish forces, backed by other Syrian armed groups, have pursued the group’s fighters as far as their provincial stronghold of Raqqa. A resident of Hasaka, jointly held by the Syrian government and the Kurds, said hundreds of families had arrived in recent days from surrounding Christian villages and Arab Bedouins were arriving from areas along the border.”

The question is, can ISIS be defeated without overwhelming combat power from a true coalition? And I’m not just talking about Iraq-Syria, but rather an effort that strikes at ISIS wherever its black flag flies — it dies.

This isn’t about a “whack-a-mole” campaign but rather a coordinated and well orchestrated operational endeavor that precludes any maneuvering of the enemy or shifting from one area to another.

I’m recommending a series of hammer/anvil type operations that denies the repositioning of Islamic terrorists. The time has come when we do not just focus on this group or that, but rather the defeat of this cancerous ideology — find the head of the Medusa and cut it off.

This isn’t about grievances or hearts and minds. We have to find the heart of the hydra and cut it out. That means its support, financing, and motivation — while you are severing its multiple heads.

That is strategy, not telling the enemy what you are not going to do and for how long you’re not going to do it. And please, don’t give me the “all we are saying is give peace a chance” and “war is not the answer” lecture. If the grim reaper shows up at your door, you have two options — and my preference is to kill him before he gets out of the car.

We are bereft of a policy to contend with this enemy, despite their firm conviction to continue their barbaric savagery. We should not be reading reports about Christians — or anyone — being abducted, beheaded, raped, sold into slavery or any other archaic practice.

We should be reading about how many of the enemy we have destroyed.

Four Christian teens beheaded by ISIS

4 Christian teens beheaded by ISIS for refusing to convert. No outrage from UN? Feinstein? Obama? from the files on Colonel Allen B. West

Canon Andrew White with children from his congregation.
As you may recall, last week Democrat Senator Dianne Feinstein, Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, released what was termed the “torture report.” Of course it was a partisan Democrat report that had no input from a single CIA official or agent.

Sen. Feinstein seemed to believe, for some odd reason, that we needed a “soul revealing” moment in America. And it came at the expense of our intelligence community with some false sense of ensuring a moral high ground over islamic terrorists.

Let me be clear, there is and never will be any moral equivalency between the actions of the barbaric savage jihadists and terrorists and the United States — water boarding, sleep deprivation, loud music, and even diaper-wearing provides no basis for comparison.

And as we have reported today, even now the British military is forbidden from shouting, screaming, banging fists on a table, or using insulting language towards captured jihadists.

Perhaps we should just play some Barry White and offer a little Chivas Regal to provide a soothing atmosphere.

With that being said, I have yet to hear or see Sen. Dianne Feinstein or any member of the Democrat party — including President Barack Obama — go on TV and strongly denounce this latest barbarism of ISIS.

As reported by the UK Daily Mail, “Four young Christians were brutally beheaded by ISIS in Iraq for refusing to convert to Islam, according to a British reverend forced to flee the country. Canon Andrew White, known as the Vicar of Baghdad, told the horrifying story how of the youths, all under 15, were murdered for standing up to the jihadists.

The vicar of the city’s St George’s Church, the only Anglican church in the whole of Iraq, has had to leave the country for Israel amid constant threats on his life by Islamic State.”

I’m sure the vicar takes comfort in knowing that if the British military were to capture these guilty savages they wouldn’t be yelling at them or using insulting language. Here we worry about making these animals drink water in large quantities while they’re slicing the heads off children because they refuse to convert to Islam.

And no, Islamist apologists, this isn’t just radical version stuff — this is part of the Hadiths (the traditions of Muhammad).

Here we have the Obama administration considering sanctions against our ally in the Middle East, Israel, yet cannot bring itself to crush this abject evil. Last week, the United Nations stated the individuals complicit in Feinstein’s “report” should be arrested, charged, and tried – but there’s not even a condemnation out of that dubious body on these beheadings.

The Daily Mail writes, “In a harrowing interview with the Orthodox Christian Network, White said ISIS had killed ‘huge numbers’ of believers in Jesus. ‘Islamic State turned up and said to the children, “you say the words that you will follow Mohammad”’, he said, his voice cracking with emotion.

‘The children, all under 15, four of them, said “no, we love Yesua; we have always loved Yesua; we have always followed Yesua; Yesua has always been with us”. ‘They [ISIS] said, “Say the words.” They [the children] said, “No, we can’t”. ‘They chopped all their heads off. How do you respond to that? You just cry. ‘They are my children. That is what we have been going through and that is what we are going through.”

So Mr. President, don’t tell us ISIS isn’t about Islam — and this certainly wasn’t “schoolyard violence.”

I wrote this Sunday afternoon. Many went to church yesterday professed their faith in Jesus Christ as Christians — but do we all have the faith of these four children? It reminds me of the Old Testament story of the three boys; Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego who refused to bow down to King Nebuchadnezzar and were willing to suffer the consequences.

As written in Daniel Chapter 3, verses 15-17 (NIV) “Now if you are ready, at the moment you hear the sound of the horn, flute, lyre, trigon, psaltery and bagpipe and all kinds of music, to fall down and worship the image that I have made, very well.

But if you do not worship, you will immediately be cast into the midst of a furnace of blazing fire; and what god is there who can deliver you out of my hands?” Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to give you an answer concerning this matter. “If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the furnace of blazing fire; and He will deliver us out of your hand, O king.…”

If you know your biblical history, they were indeed cast into the fire and when those who placed them there gazed into the furnace they saw four, not three. And so they were taken out of the furnace and King Nebuchadnezzar said, Daniel 3:28 (NIV), “Then Nebuchadnezzar said, “Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent his angel and rescued his servants!

They trusted in him and defied the king’s command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.”

Of course Assyrian King Nebuchadnezzar ruled in what is today known as Iraq — the area known as Kurdistan. And one can only presume this occurrence led to one of the oldest Christian communities in the world, the Assyrian Church — today being decimated by the bloodthirsty followers of Muhammad.

I pray for the souls of those four Christian children who would not deny their Savior, Jesus Christ. They showed the same commitment and conviction of spirit as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. I know that each of those four have been welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven for their unyielding faith and their courage and grace under duress from the most horrible of evil and the most disgusting of death.

These four demonstrated far more courage than Senator Dianne Feinstein and certainly than our own president, who refuses to commit to the destruction of this evil.

Perhaps these children have provided us an example we should follow of faith. Perhaps we may be able to find something within ourselves to finally take the battlefield and crush this historical pestilence that has masqueraded as a religion over a millennia that has wrought nothing but violence upon the world.

Perhaps in a week where we in America argued over silly inconsequential actions such as water boarding and saw pictures of recently released Islamic terrorists yukking it up in Uruguay– these four had their heads severed because they stood for something. God bless their souls.

The question is, do we stand for anything in this “fundamentally transformed” America?

Traveling with Dr. Ben Carson in the Holy Land

Traveling with Ben Carson to the Holy Land from Armstrong Williams at the Washington Times

Dr. Ben Carson and Armstrong Wlliams
I don’t usually get so personal in these columns, but today I want you to know that I feel particularly blessed. I am in the Holy Land with my friends, Dr. Ben and Candy Carson.

Israel is one of my favorite travel destinations in the world. This will be my eighth visit. It is the first trip there for the Carsons, and it is truly a privilege to escort them through this remarkable country.

Dr. and Mrs. Carson are deeply faithful Christians, who I suspect will soon find themselves enveloped by the deep sense of spirituality that is palpable in the air of Israel. They will no doubt be very moved by the experience of touring Israel’s capital city of Jerusalem, a city sacred to Jews and Christians and which, despite not being mentioned in the Koran, has become significant for Muslims too.

There we will walk the same streets traversed by Jesus, gaze upon the Mount of Olives and visit the Western Wall, a retaining structure that is all that remains of the Second Temple, built on the very spot where Abraham nearly sacrificed his son Isaac.

We plan to see Nazareth and to head north to explore the Galilee. With Christmas fast approaching, we hope to also be able to visit Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus, now under the control of the Palestinian Authority.

On the secular level this visit will be a fact-finding mission for Dr. Carson. He is not a politician but rather a man of many intellectual accomplishments who is visiting Israel to gain a deeper understanding of the many complex forces at play in the Middle East.

Dr. Carson will fly along Israel’s narrow borders to see for himself the immense defense challenges that Israel faces. At its narrowest point, Israel is just nine miles wide. The capital cities of surrounding countries that seek to attack and ultimately destroy the Jewish state are closer than many major American cities are to one another.

Perched along Israel’s border with Lebanon is Hezbollah, a terrorist organization supported spiritually and financially by the Islamic Republic of Iran. Few Americans realize that Hezbollah is second only to al Qaeda in terms of the number of Americans it has killed due to its brutal terrorist army’s global reach.

Syria also sits along a section of Israel’s northern border. There, the brutal chaos of its bloody civil war continues unabated. “For the sake of the Syrian people, the time has come for President Assad to step aside,” said President Obama in August 2011. However, despite Mr. Obama’s assertion that Mr. Assad must go, he is still ruling the country with an iron fist while over 190,000 Syrians have gone to their graves.

To the south of Israel is Hamas, a terrorist organization whose founding charter calls for the destruction of the Jewish state and whose reign of terror also holds the Palestinians of Gaza in its grip.

Even while Egypt and Jordan fight to maintain their internal stability while faced with challenges from radical Islamist elements, their borders with Israel have been quiet since peace deals with Israel were reached.

Like most pragmatic thinkers and successful businessmen, Dr. Carson believes it is important to learn from what works and to adopt the “best practices” that have proven successful. To that end, he will make time on his short trip to visit Jordan and examine the Middle East of today from that country’s perspective.

Elsewhere in the Middle East, Christians and other religious minorities are under intense threat, in many cases desperately fleeing for their lives from their ancient communities. Dr. Carson will visit with Christians residing in the Palestinian territories, as well as Christian Arabs in Israel, where the right to worship is respected and Christian, Muslim and Jewish holy sites are protected.

I expect this trip to be jampacked with important stops all along the way — stops that underscore the most deeply held values of Dr. and Mrs. Carson. The Carsons will also devote time to exploring areas of great interest, such as the booming entrepreneurial sector within Israel, focused on cutting-edge technology and medical research as well as innovative programs helping at-risk teenagers.

This whirlwind tour will undoubtedly contain the deep and thoughtful experiences that will help shape Dr. Carson’s perspective on Israel and the broader Middle East.

Like you, I look forward to hearing his impressions, which he will share with us all on TV, radio, in newspapers and online.

Muslims burn husband and pregnant wife to death

Religion of peace strikes again: Pakistani Christian man and pregnant wife burned alive from the files of Colonel Allen B. West

Husband and Wife Burned to Death because They Were Christians - Religion of Peace

Yesterday we shared the words spoken by President Obama’s special envoy on ISIS, retired Marine General Allen, who told a gathering on Monday in Kuwait, “we must also tell a positive story, one that highlights our respect – our profound respect for Islam’s proud traditions, its rich history, and celebration of scholarship and family and community.”

Sadly today I was emailed a copy of a letter sent by Catholic League President Bill Donahue to President Barack Hussein Obama on a most heinous and sickening incident in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan — relating to its archaic and barbaric blasphemy laws.

As reported by the Catholic News Agency, “The reported killing of a Christian couple in Pakistan by a mob on Tuesday has sparked calls for the nation’s government to protect its people, and especially its minorities.

“The burning alive of a Christian couple is a test case for our government. Our government must provide protection to all citizens and especially to the poor and downtrodden Christians,” Fr. James Channan, O.P., director of the Peace Center Lahore, told CNA Nov. 4 in an email interview.”

“That morning, Shahzad Masih and his wife Shama, a Christian couple, were allegedly killed and their bodies burned by a mob after they were accused of desecrating the Quran. The couple lived in Kot Radha Kishan, a city located nearly 40 miles southwest of Lahore. The wife Shama was pregnant, and the couple had three additional children.”

I challenged the politicized words of General Allen as bad policy and reiterate that position. A year ago in the summer I had the honor to meet a young Pakistani Christian woman named Julie Aftab who, because of her refusal to convert to Islam was attacked and had acid thrown on her and down her throat.

And even when taken to the hospital for treatment, she was shot because the rumor was spread that she had offended Islam — the Muslim doctors refused to treat her. Blessings of God that Julie was rescued from that horrific situation and brought to America. She now lives in Houston and I understand she’s about to be married and has finished her undergrad studies there.

What manner of barbarism is this? And what manner of cowardice refuses to denounce it, preferring games of political correctness? Another bad policy.

This recent story from Pakistan where the Christian community lives in constant fear is chilling. Here is a short synopsis, “Legal Evangelical Association Development, a Pakistani minority rights group, was told by Muhammad Rafique, one of the Masihs’ coworkers, that following the recent death of Shahzad’s father, Shama collected some of his things, burning them and throwing the ashes in the garbage.

According to Rafique, their employer noticed this, and charged that some of the burnt pages were from the Quran; he then detained them. They owed him money, and he refused to release them without being paid. It was then announced from local mosques that the couple had desecrated the Quran, and a mob forced their way into the room where the Masihs were held, beat them, and then burnt them alive in the kiln’s furnace.”

Here is the entire letter sent to President Obama by Catholic League President Donahue yesterday.

I suppose even presenting this story will once again earn me the label of “islamophobe” — feel free. I will not relent in reporting this savage barbarism that we believe can be conquered by appeasement, dismissal or calling a different name.

Is this a Pakistani version of “workplace violence?”

I encourage you all to copy this letter and send it to the White House, attention President Obama, State Department attention John Kerry, office of Senator Mitch McConnell, and office of House Speaker John Boehner, and demand cutting off all foreign aid to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan until they revoke their insidious blasphemy laws and also release the Pakistani doctor who identified Obama bin Laden ~ Dr. Shakil Afridi.

We must stand for human rights and I am waiting to hear from the women’s rights groups appalled at the heinous torture and murder of Shama and her unborn child.

School board caves to atheist bullies

School board caves to atheists over statue. When will someone stand with resolve? from the files of Allen B. West

Click Here to Visit the Allen B. West Website
I have always maintained that one of the most important elected positions in America is on the school board — and a recent decision validates that assertion.

Previously we reported on the Madison County High School football team’s monument, donated by a private citizen, that drew the ire of the Wisconsin-based atheist group, Freedom From Religion Foundation. The monument featured two Biblical verses, Romans 8:31 and Philippians 4:13. This atheist organization of offended individuals demanded the monument be removed, covered, or altered. The decision was to be taken up by the county school board, and yesterday they ruled – the wrong way.

As reported by the Washington Times, “A controversial monument at the entrance of a Georgia high school football stadium will be altered to remove its biblical scripture after atheists complained it was offensive. The Madison County school board voted unanimously Tuesday night to have the monument altered, following a nearly two-hour closed session to discuss the issue, Madison Journal Review reported.

The monument gained national attention when it was erected in August. Two different groups sent letters to the school system arguing that it violates the separation of church and state and demanding it be removed. Board member Robert Hooper made the motion to have the Bible verses removed or covered up, saying he did so “with great consideration and concern for all students”, Madison Journal Review reported.”

I just have to ask, why was the school board meeting held in closed session? This was a community issue and why were these elected officials not willing to deliberate and make their decision before the community — the people who elected them to represent their interests on local educational governance?

And I will be completely forthright and ask, when will we have any group that will stand up to these secular humanist atheist groups and tell them to “pound sand” and go away? If they bring forth a lawsuit do not comply. There has to be a point when these destructive but vocal minority groups are met with resolve.

What would have been the problem with bringing the decision before the Madison County High School student body? Who gave the FFRF, a private advocacy group from Wisconsin, any dominion over what is happening in Georgia?

Was there a student or group of students who filed a complaint to FFRF asking their interests be defended? If this religious monument which currently reads, “If God be for us, who can be against us?” from Romans 8:31, and, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” from Philippians 4:13 was offensive — can someone state why?

I don’t think the folks in Wisconsin are coming down to Madison County High for some “Friday night lights.” And nowhere is this monument promoting an establishment of religion or forcing anyone to adhere to the verses displayed. If you don’t like the monument, well, don’t look at it.

According to the Times, “the local newspaper said that as soon as the announcement was made, there was a mass exodus of about 150 people who had showed up, most in favor of the monument. “We are not here as haters, we are here to love all,” said Theresa Gordon, who was invited to speak during the closed session, Madison Journal Review reported.

“It seems as if these [atheist] groups are here as haters, willing to spend millions to remove God from [our society], which means they are antichrists by definition – they must have hatred in their hearts to fight so hard to remove him from this small object that was placed for others to enjoy.”

I agree wholeheartedly with Ms. Gordon. The definition of tolerance for the progressive socialist Left — to whom secular humanists are allies — is that they only tolerate that which they define as tolerable.

Imagine if Christians attempted to force their beliefs upon the Left — heck, there are some secular humanists like Mikey Weinstein who believe Christians in the military who profess, witness, or display their faith are guilty of sedition and should be court-martialed.

What hatred does this Wisconsin-based group possess in order to target a religious monument in sleepy Madison County, Georgia? What is becoming of our First Amendment right of “freedom of religion and the free exercise thereof?” Oh, I guess the secular humanist leftists will define and declare what freedom of [from] religion is and where there can be a free exercise.

Even more disgusting to me is the lack of moral courage to look these atheists in the eye and simply state — how can something you don’t believe exists be offensive?

I’m deeply disappointed in this school board and its decision because what these folks just did was reinforce and reward the abhorrent behavior, actions and tactics of the Freedom From Religion Foundation who are laughing at them and seeking out the next Christian target to devour — no different than the lions of the Roman coliseum.

If the Freedom From Religion Foundation challenged the Obama administration giving $9 million to a Catholic organization to defend illegal aliens — a violation of church and state, using American taxpayer dollars to conduct “political activity” – maybe I wouldn’t be so critical.

FFRF is an atheist bully organization that relies on Christians just taking it and turning the other cheek. Sometimes the only way to deal with a bully is to fight back — something the school board of Madison County, Georgia pathetically failed to do.
