An Obama voting for Trump?

Obama will return to Maryland where he is registered to vote in
November and cast his vote for Donald Trump

President Barack Obama has been slated by his own brother - and revealed he will back Republican Donald Trump in the Presidential race.

Speaking live from Kenya on British TV, Malik Obama also spoke about his relationship with Barack and claimed he has to make appointments to see him.

And he told Good Morning Britain hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid that the US leader has issues with attitude.

He said: "[Barack] has this attitude like 'I'm the president, I've made it, I'm the star here'. I do understand that but I'm just expressing my opinion and how I feel."

Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Malik Obama accused the US leader of having issues when it comes to his attitude.

In a swipe at his sibling's incredible political career, Malik added: "Looking back, he made so many promises when he was running for president.

"He was riding on the promise of hope. There was so much excitement and we thought he would do so many things.

"But look at the Middle East right now. It's a mess. People are being killed all over the place; Berlin, Florida, France, Brussels. And look at the situation in Iraq right now."

Malik also sounded pretty miffed when he revealed he has to request an appointment when he wants to see his brother.

"I have to go through this woman and make a request, saying I would like to see him," Malik added.

"Then I just have to wait. The last time I requested to see him was June 15th and I've only just got a response.

"And that's how it usually works. It all depends on whether there's an opening in his diary."

The most shocking point Malik made during the interview was that he plans to vote for Barack's rival Donald Trump in the upcoming US elections.

Although the president is backing his friend Hilary Clinton for the job and has made no secret of his feelings towards Donald, Malik was more than happy to explain why he isn't supporting his brother.

"Something is going on with Hilary that I don't like," he explained. "Donald on the other hand, he speaks his mind and is straight forward.

"And remember, the Republican party is the party of Abraham Lincoln - who freed slaves and freed the black man."

First Lady of Maine takes a real job

Maureen McDonnell explains how she lost 40 lbs. by having her portrait painted

This summer we have an interesting contrast between first ladies at the state government level.

Ann LePage, wife of Maine Gov. Paul LePage is waiting tables, while Maureen McDonnell, wife of former Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell, is waiting to see if she can avoid going to jail.

The other difference is how members of the political class achieve their desires.

Ann has her heart set on owning a new Toyota RAV 4 and she’s getting it the old fashioned way — by earning the money. Ann is working at McSeagull’s where according to WGME she’s hoping to average the same $28/hr. her daughter earned last summer. On an annual basis that’s $58,240 a year – far in excess of the $15/hr. “living wage” that produces only $31,200 and penalizes initiative. The amount is even close to her husband’s state salary of $70,000.

LePage is charmingly unpretentious and obviously doesn’t suffer from a Hillary–sized ego. I’ve been peering intently at all the photos accompanying the coverage and can’t find a single state trooper or other “security detail” member lurking in the background.

It’s only Ann bustling from table to table.

I’m sure this strikes many as too bourgeois for words. A governor’s wife working in a tourist trap instead of a “think tank” or corporate “community outreach” was obviously so novel it interested the Washington Post.

The next thing you know that wacky Ann will be browsing the aisles at the Dollar Store.

A smart political operator — a “two for the price of one” first lady — would’ve started the LePage Foundation to “make the world a better place.” Initial contributions could have gone to buy something more fitting for a governor’s wife, say a nice black Mercedes SUV, so Ann, as foundation president, could have a stylish way to get around town.

Instead she’s now one of the state’s 10,000 seasonal employees and hoping McSeagull’s owners don’t pull a Trump and replace her with H–2B visa worker from Carjackistan.

I’d like to think Ann is sincere in wanting to work and not engaged in a domestic drama, but it is a fact husband Paul has pushed for a higher salary. He was either feeling the economic pinch or the status pinch, because the mister proposed giving himself an $80,000 raise.

In Virginia the governor makes $175,000, but even that isn’t enough for some.

Take Maureen McDonnell. She had a wish list, too, but her tastes were more upper crust, preferring Bergdorf Goodman and Rolex to Toyota and the “Lobster Chicken Bomb.” Maureen’s sweating out a jail sentence because she decided to get her goodies the old backroom way by swapping political influence for money.

During only one term as first lady, Maureen persuaded an “old family friend” dating back to a few days before the inauguration — to give her and the McDonnell brood almost $200,000.00.

The Post has the totals:
  • $6,500 Rolex watch
  • $15,000 Bergdorf Goodman shopping spree
  • $10,000 wedding gift to daughter Jeanine
  • $15,000 catering for daughter Cailin’s wedding
  • $50,000 no–doc loan to Maureen
  • $70,000 no–doc loan to Bob
Maureen raked in this amazing total and didn’t have to replace a single insole, so take that Ann!

Of course in prison they supply the shoes, so Maureen still won’t be buying Dr. Scholl’s even if the appeal is unsuccessful.

Not all political wives and politicians have Ann Leave’s strong moral compass, so here’s some advice for those tempted to keep up with the Trumps by accepting favors from “old friends” whose arrival coincided with your election.

Your life may not be as lavish, but on the other hand you won’t be sharing a toilet with Maureen McDonnell:
  1. Don't take a gift from any 'old friend' you made after you left high school unless it comes with a receipt, preferably from Walmart.
  2. Don't buy stock in a 'friend's' hot company if you didn't know him in high school.
  3. Don't take a gift from any 'friend' who owns a company the SEC, FEC, IRS, FDA or the PTA is investigating.
  4. Don't hitch a ride on an airplane, yacht or submarine owned by a stranger you met after high school, unless you all chip in for gas.
  5. Don't accept free vacation housing from a 'friend' you met after high school, unless it's a tent.
Meanwhile let’s close on Laurie Green’s thoughts regarding Ann LePage as told to AP, “I really hate a lot of our politicians nowadays that have the wealth, the money.

They have no clue what the average person out in the world is doing.” But Ann does.

Black colleges drop a truth bomb on Dems

Click Here to Read More from Colonel Allen B. West

The Democrat Party has a very disturbing history with the black community, one of slavery, secession, segregation, and socialism says Allen B. West

The Democrat National Committee convention is underway in Philadelphia — rather ironic if you ask me. Of course you’re going to see and hear all the pandering and race baiting that has come to be the new American Socialist Party.

As a matter of fact, knowing that the mother of one Michael Brown is speaking at the convention is beyond appalling. But this is what it’s come to, a party that needs to stoke the fires of racial division and victimhood. But really, who are these progressive socialists — perhaps a better expose would cause fewer in the black community to support them.

As reported by The Hill, “A group of (HBCU's) historically black colleges say the Obama administration’s new loan forgiveness rules could put them out of business.

The Department of Education proposed new college repayment rules in June that would make it easier for current and former students to seek loan forgiveness. But several historically black colleges say it would “open the floodgates” to lawsuits from “disgruntled” students.

“In fact, the proposed regulation language could undermine the financial viability of a number of academic institutions and could possibly bankrupt less-financially secured colleges and universities,” they wrote in a letter sent Thursday to Education Secretary John King.

Currently, students must prove their school committed “fraud” in order to discharge their loans, but under the proposed changes, they would only need to show misrepresentation. This would lower the standard for loan forgiveness, the schools say.

While larger schools may be able to the weather the storm, school leaders who signed the letter said many of their schools do not have the financial backing necessary to withstand lengthy court battles. They requested a 30-day extension of the comment period, which is scheduled to end August 1st.

The schools officials that signed the letter represent Bennet College for Women, Clark Atlanta University, Wiley College, Rust College, and the University of Memphis.

Reverend Jesse Jackson also signed the letter.”

Keeping the poor impoverished

Callous eco-imperialists use lies, scare stories to deny poor countries better
living standards by Paul Driessen

We are just now entering the age of industrialization, newly elected President Rodrigo Duterte said recently, explaining why the Philippines will not ratify the Paris climate accords. “Now that we’re developing, you will impose a limit? That’s absurd. It’s being imposed upon us by the industrialized countries. They think they can dictate our destiny.”

More developing nations are taking the same stance – and rightly so. They increasingly understand that fossil fuels are needed to modernize, industrialize, electrify, and decrease poverty, malnutrition and disease. Many supported the 2015 Paris climate treaty for three reasons.

They are not required to reduce their oil, natural gas and coal use, economic development and greenhouse gas emissions, because doing so would prevent them from improving their people’s living standards.

They want the free technology transfers and trillions of dollars in climate “adaptation, mitigation and reparation” funds that now-wealthy nations promised to pay for alleged climate transgressions. But they now know those promises won’t be kept – especially by countries that absurdly insist on slashing their energy use, economic growth and job creation, while developing countries surge ahead.

Climate has always changed. It is far better to have energy, technology, modern housing and wealth to adapt to, survive, recover from and even thrive amid inevitable warming, cooling and weather events, than to forego these abilities (on the absurd assumption that humans can control climate and weather) – and be forced to confront nature’s onslaughts the way previous generations had to.

The November 7-18 Marrakech, Morocco UN climate conference (COP-22) thus promises to be a lot of hot air, just like its predecessors. Officially, its goal is to accelerate GHG emission reductions, “brainstorm” with government and business leaders to achieve “new levels of cooperation and technology sharing” (and subsidies), and embrace “urgent action” to help African and small island nations survive the supposed ravages of manmade droughts and rising seas.

The true purposes are to pressure industrialized nations to end most fossil fuel use by 2050; intentionally replace free enterprise capitalism with a “more equitable” system; “more fairly” redistribute the world’s wealth and natural resources; and ensure that poor countries develop “sustainably” and not “too much” – all under the direction and control of UN agencies and environmentalist pressure groups.

We might ask: Replace capitalism with what exactly? Dictatorial UN socialism? Redistribute what wealth exactly? After we’ve hobbled developed countries’ energy use, job creation and wealth creation, what will be left? As poor countries get rich, do you UN bureaucrats intend to take and redistribute their wealth to “less fortunate” nations that still fail to use fossil fuels or get rid of their kleptocratic leaders?

Africans are not endangered by manmade climate change. They are threatened by the same droughts and storms they have confronted for millennia, and by the same corrupt leaders who line their own pockets with climate and foreign aid cash, while doing nothing for their people and nothing to modernize their countries. Africa certainly does not need yet more callous outsider corruption dictating its future.

Pacific islanders likewise face no greater perils from seas rising at seven inches per century, than they have from seas that rose 400 feet since the last Ice Age glaciers melted, and their coral islands kept pace with those ocean levels – unless they too fail to use fossil fuel (and nuclear) power to modernize.

The Morocco-Paris-Bali-Rio manmade climate chaos mantra may protect people and planet from climate hobgoblins conjured up by garbage in-garbage out computer models. But it will perpetuate energy and economic poverty, imposed on powerless populations by eco-imperialist US, EU and UN functionaries.

Virtually every other environmentalist dogma has similar effects.

Sustainability precepts demand that we somehow predict future technologies – and ensure that today’s resource needs “will not compromise” the completely unpredictable energy and raw material needs that those unpredictable technologies will introduce. They require that we safeguard the assumed needs of future generations, even when it means ignoring or compromising the needs of current generations – including the needs, aspirations, health and welfare of the world’s poorest people.

Resource depletion claims fail to account for hydraulic fracturing and other new technologies that increase supplies, reduce their costs – or decrease the need for previously essential commodities, as fiber optic cables reduced the need for copper. The Stone age didn’t end because we ran out of stones. If we run out of something, it’s generally because governments prevented us from developing the resource.

Precautionary principles say we must focus on the risks of using chemicals, fossil fuels and other technologies – but never on the risks of not using them. We are required to emphasize minor, alleged, manageable, exaggerated or fabricated risks that a technology might cause, but ignore the risks it would reduce or prevent.

Because of illusory risks from biotechnology, we are to banish GMO Golden Rice and bananas that are rich in beta-carotene (which humans can convert into Vitamin A), and continue letting millions of children go blind or die. We are to accept millions more deaths from malaria, Zika, dengue, yellow fever and other diseases, because of imagined dangers of using DDT and insecticides. Must we also accept millions of cancer deaths, because of risks associated with radiation and chemo therapies?

Over the past three decades, fossil fuels helped 1.3 billion more people get electricity and escape deadly energy and economic poverty – over 830 million because of coal. China connected 99% of its population to the grid, also mostly with coal, enabling its average citizens to be ten times richer and live 32 years longer than five decades previously.

But another 1.2 billion people (the US, Canadian, Mexican and European populations combined) still do not have electricity. Another 2 billion have electrical power only sporadically and unpredictably and must still cook and heat with wood, charcoal and animal dung. Hundreds of millions get horribly sick and five million die every year from lung and intestinal diseases, due to breathing smoke from open fires and not having refrigeration, clean water and safe food. Because of climate “risks,” we are to let this continue.

Or as former Earth Island Institute editor Gar Smith so charmingly put it: “African villagers used to spend their days and evenings sewing clothing for their neighbors on foot-peddle-powered sewing machines.” Once they get electricity, they spend too much time watching television and listening to the radio. “If there is going to be electricity, I would like it to be decentralized, small and solar-powered.”

Of course, as a young black California mother reminded me a few years ago, eco-imperialism is not just a developing country issue. It is a global problem. “Because of their paranoid fear of sprawl,” LaTonya told me, “elitist eco-imperialists employ endless regulations and restrictions that prevent upwardly-mobile people of color from improving their lot in life. Only we, the wealthy and privileged, they seem to insist, can live in nice homes and safe neighborhoods, have good jobs and enjoy modern lifestyles.”

These ideologies and policies are absurd, callous, immoral, eco-imperialistic and genocidal. They inflict unconscionable crimes against humanity on the poorest among us. They can no longer be tolerated.

Rich nations used fossil fuels to advance science, create wondrous technologies beyond previous generations’ wildest imaginings, eradicate killer diseases, increase life expectancy from 46 in 1900 to 78 today, and give even poor families better living standards than kings and queens enjoyed a century ago.

Instead of holding poor countries and billions of less fortunate people back for still more decades, we are ethically bound to do everything we can to encourage and assist them to throw off their shackles, and join the world’s wealthy, healthy, technologically advanced nations.

Hillary’s energy policies enrich Wall Street

Enriching Wall Street cronies, while the poor are
pawns in their political game

In his less-than-enthusiastic endorsement of Hillary Clinton as the Democrat’s choice for President, Senator Bernie Sanders decried “Greed, recklessness, and illegal behavior” and declared that we couldn’t let “billionaires buy elections.”

Perhaps his opposition research team discovered what we have about Clinton’s connections with the very entities he despises: Wall Street—which he’s accused of “gambling trillions in risky financial instruments;” and “huge financial institutions” that he says: “simply have too much economic and political power over this country.”

Wall Street and its “huge financial institutions” are Clinton allies—supporting both her campaign and donating big bucks to the Clinton Foundation.

In the batch of Democrat National Committee (DNC) emails WikiLeaks made public on July 23, DNC Research Associate Jeremy Berns tells his colleagues: “She [Clinton] doesn't want the people knowing about her relationships on Wall Street.” He adds: “She wants to achieve consistency and the best way to do that is to keep the people ignorant.”

For the past four years, I’ve collaborated with citizen activist/researcher Christine Lakatos (she’s been at it for six years) on what we’ve called: President Obama’s green-energy crony-corruption scandal. Together we’ve produced the single largest body of work on the topic. In her blog, the Green Corruption Files, she posts her exhaustive research—what I affectionately refer to as the drink-from-the-fire-hydrant version. I, then, use her research to draft an overview that is appropriate for the casual reader.

More recently, our efforts have morphed to include the Democrats’ presidential nominee, as Lakatos found the same people are her “wealthy cronies,” too.

In Lakatos’ most-recent, and final Green Corruption File, released on July 19, she states: “While there are numerous ways you can ‘buy access to the Clintons,’ I’m only going to connect the dots to the Green Gangsters, which we’ve already established are rich political pals of President Obama, as well as other high-ranking Democrats and their allies, who were awarded hundreds of billions of ‘green’ taxpayer cash.”

Her lengthy report, is “devoted to proving beyond a reasonable doubt that the Democrat presumptive presidential nominee, Hillary Rodham Clinton, is not on only in bed with Big Money (Wall Street, the Uber-Rich, special interests groups and lobbyists) and Dark Money (Super PACS and Secret Cash), she’s also bankrolled and is in cahoots with––directly and through her husband and her family foundation––the wealthy Green Gangsters, who are robbing U.S. taxpayers in order to ‘save the planet.’”

While the dozens of pages prove the involvement of names you know—like former vice president Al Gore, former Governor Bill Richardson, and billionaire donors Tom Steyer and Warren Buffett, and names you likely don’t know: David Crane, John Doerr, Pat Stryker, and Steve Westly—I’ve chosen to highlight the Clinton’s Wall Street connections that have benefited from the green deals that were cut in the Obama White House and that will continue on if Clinton wins.

Lakatos points out: “Clinton’s ‘ambitious renewable energy plans’ move far beyond Obama’s green mission that has been rife with crony capitalism, corporate welfare, and corruption.” Along with more climate rules, she “wants an open tab for green energy.” Remember the DNC’s official platform includes: “the goal of producing 100 percent of electricity from renewable sources by 2050” and “a call for the Justice Department to investigate fossil fuel companies for misleading the public on climate change.”

Three Wall Street names of my limited-word-count focus are Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, and Bank of America. Each is a top-contributing Clinton campaign supporter and a Clinton Foundation donor. They have benefited from the hundreds of billions in taxpayers dollars given out for green energy projects through the Obama Administration. All three have expectations that Clinton will continue the green programs put in place by the Obama administration.

Goldman Sachs—donated between $1 million to $5 million and the Goldman Sachs Philanthropy Fund has contributed between $250,000 to $500,000 to the Clinton Foundation. As Lakatos pointed out in previous reports, Goldman Sachs is connected, via various roles, to at least 14 companies and/or projects that won green taxpayer cash––a tab that exceeded $8.5 billion.

One specific example: Goldman is credited as the “exclusive financial adviser” for the now bankrupt Solyndra ($570.4 million loss). Then there is now-bankrupt SunEdison—an early Goldman Sachs investment. SunEdison received $1.5 billion in federal and state subsidies.

And, in 2010, Goldman Sachs handled the IPO of government winner, Tesla Motors that was awarded $465 million from the Department Of Energy (DOE) ATVM program—they got much more if you factor in the state and local subsides: $2,406,805,253 to be exact. Also, according to Goldman, “In May 2013, [they] helped raise over $1 billion in new financing for Tesla Motors.”

Citigroup/Citi Foundation—donated between $1 million to $5 million to the Clinton Foundation. This big bank is connected to approximately $16 billion of taxpayer money. Lakatos, in 2013, reported that Citi was actively involved in securing the 1703/1705 DOE loans; was a direct investor; and/or served as an underwriter for the initial public offering (IPO) of at least 16 of Citi’s clients that received some form of government subsidies.

One green company where Citi is a major investor is SolarCity, which has been subsidized through various stimulus funds, grants and federal tax breaks at the tune equaling almost $1.5 billion. (Billionaire Elon Musk is CEO of Tesla and Chairman at SolarCity. He’s a Clinton Foundation donor ($25 million to $50 million) and Hillary supporter, too.)

Bank of America/Bank of America Foundation—donated between $500,000 to $1 million to the Clinton Foundation.

Bank of America, amongst other green efforts, participated in Project Amp—a four-year, $2.6 billion project to place solar panels on rooftops in 28 states. At the time, the Wall Street Journal reported: “Bank of America Merrill Lynch unit will provide $1.4 billion in loans for the project,” of which “the financing is part of Bank of America’s plan to put $20 billion of capital to work in renewable energy, conservation and other clean technologies that address climate change.”

In the final days of the DOE loan program (September 2011), the DOE awarded a partial guarantee of $1.4 billion loan to Project Amp. According to a press release, Bank of America increased its second environmental business initiative from $50 billion to $125 billion in low-carbon business by 2025 through lending, investing, capital raising, advisory services and developing financing solutions for clients around the world.

It’s important to remember that climate change—which is the foundation of the green agenda—is part of the Clinton Foundation’s mission statement: “In communities across the globe, our programs are proving that we can confront the debilitating effects of climate change in a way that makes sense for governments, businesses, and economies.”

Additionally, the Foundation’s coffers were enriched when Clinton and her State Department staff solicited contributions from foreign governments to the Clinton Global Initiative, as we detailed in our coverage of her clean cookstove campaign.

In addition to Clinton’s obvious Wall Street connections, one of the many startling realizations that can be gleaned from the report on Hillary’s Horrendous Hypocrisy, is the fact that these companies—some of which would not be in existence without the grants and tax credits—that received millions in taxpayer dollars, took our money and gave it to the Clinton Foundation and to the Clinton Campaign.

As was the case with Clinton Foundation donor/campaign fundraiser George Kaiser, these billionaires are making lucrative profits, at taxpayer expense, from bankrupted green companies like Solyndra.

In short, we, the taxpayers, are subsidizing the well-connected millionaires and billionaires—and Hillary Clinton is part of all of it. Meanwhile, she admonishes the average American to combat climate change by driving less and reducing our personal use of electricity.

Bernie Sanders was right to be alarmed. Huge financial institutions do have too much political power. Wall Street billionaires are trying to buy Clinton the White House.

In return, she’ll be sure their green energy investments pay off for them by demanding that America go green.

Bob Dole Makes the Case for Trump

Click Here to Read More from Vann Hipp

The media made much of who came and who didn’t come to last week’s GOP convention in Cleveland. Pundits also made much over presidential contenders who signed “the pledge,” but refused to endorse Donald Trump. There was, however, one former Republican Presidential nominee and GOP elder statesman who was there and said “Trump’s going to make a great president.” His name is Bob Dole and he continues to teach us all what character, duty, and being an American is all about.

We all have ups and downs in life. How a man handles both victory and defeat tells you a lot about a man and his character. Bob Dole originally supported Jeb Bush for the presidency, whose father had once been a bitter rival. Bob Dole put that past him and supported the younger Bush. Dole was then “really disappointed” in Jeb Bush for skipping the convention and not honoring his pledge.

Bob Dole has had some great victories in life, as well as some terrible disappointments. The former U.S. Senate majority leader and both GOP presidential and vice-presidential nominee, has always been magnanimous in victory and gracious in defeat. He is a class act who continues to teach us all.

Bob Dole, who celebrated his 93rd birthday right after the conclusion of the convention, is a patriot and veteran who’s always answered his country’s “call to duty.”

The media is saying that Donald Trump has transformed the Republican Party into the party of the working middle class. There was a time, a different era, in the Republican Party however, when a GOP leader who grew up in the basement of a three room house during the “Great Depression” in Russell, Kansas, fought for working-class families.

Today, Donald Trump says he will always stand by and support our veterans who have been failed by a dysfunctional Department of Veteran Affairs. But there was a time when a Republican leader who had been wounded in World War II, gone through seven operations, years of rehab, and had a paralyzed right arm from his battlefield injuries, fought for our veterans like no one else.

A theme in Cleveland, and throughout the Trump campaign, has been to rebuild a decimated military to keep America safe. Well, there was once a Republican leader and 10th U.S. Army Mountain Division veteran and recipient of two Bronze Stars and two Purple Hearts, who always fought to keep an American military so strong that no one would dare challenge us.

Donald Trump has stood up to the elites and pledged to be the voice of the “forgotten Americans.” Throughout his career, Bob Dole, the Republican leader from a small town where his dad ran a stand that sold eggs and cream and his mom sold Singer sewing machines, always stood up to the elites and fought for the “Silent Majority.”

Trump’s main theme has been to “Make America Great Again.” Bob Dole is part of “The Greatest Generation” that always answered America’s “call to duty” and showed the entire world exactly how great America was.

It was great to see Melania Trump salute Bob Dole in her convention speech. Yes, Donald Trump has transformed the GOP into the party that fights for working class Americans, takes care of our veterans, and will keep America safe above all else. But you know what? These are the kinds of values, the kind of Republican Party, and most importantly, the kind of America that Bob Dole fought for both on the battlefield and in the political world.

Just maybe, Donald Trump has brought the Republican Party back home to Bob Dole values that will be the voice of the “forgotten Americans.” Since 1950, the nickname “Mr. Republican” has been reserved for legendary late Ohio senator, Bob Taft. Today I submit that Bob Dole is the new “Mr. Republican” and he continues to teach us what duty, character, honor and answering America’s “call to duty” to keep us free and secure is all about.

Three Reasons Why Trump Will Win

Meet Donald John Trump - Republican Presidential Candidate
Based on traditional campaigning markers and guideposts, experts predict Trump will go down in humiliating defeat to Hillary Clinton. I think they are wrong folks. Michael Jackson said, “I'm not like other guys.” I say Donald Trump is not like other politicians.

When Trump announced his bid for the White House, snooty political elites laughed, “Look at this idiot.” They had no idea that millions of Americans at home watching were saying, “Yeah! Right on! I like this guy!”

Polls continue to tighten between Trump and Hillary. I suspect some of Hillary's lead is due to voters lying to pollsters that they will vote for the first woman president; similar to the Bradley Effect. In 1982, California voters did not want to be thought of as racist so they lied to pollsters saying they would vote for Bradley, the black candidate. Despite a strong lead according to the polls, Bradley lost his bid for governor.

Another thing that may cause voters to lie to pollsters is their fear of being on the wrong side of political correctness. Voters have seen what happens to anyone who speaks-out against Leftist's sacred cow issues. Trump has become the king of political incorrectness. Therefore, some voters feel they must keep the fact that they agree with Trump a secret.

I believe the Trumpster will win the White House for three simple reasons. One: His name recognition. Two: His connection with the common man. Three: American's disgust with the direction our country is going.

Admittedly, the following anecdotes are not scientific, but I think they are quite telling. While in the supermarket checkout line, I saw the cover of the National Enquirer with an unflattering photo of Hillary. The headline read, “Crooked Hillary: Corrupt!” in large bold type.

Folks, I do not ever recall a tabloid expressing such an in-your-face rebuke of a democrat politician. Something new is definitely happening this election cycle. The National Enquirer appeals mostly to low-info-voters. Its cover branding Hillary a corrupt political insider could be huge. The cover also plays perfectly into Trump's narrative that voters have been shafted by professional politicians in both parties. “Vote for me, the outsider.”

I am chairman of the Conservative Campaign Committee. Our team traveled state-to-state during the primaries campaigning for Ted Cruz. I witnessed an unmistakable broad demographic of passionate Trump supporters.

Back home in Florida, I experienced that same Trump-mania in Irv, my white handyman. Irv is a low-info voter who worships Obama. Obama gave Irv a free phone. Irv believes Obama is committed to confiscating wealth from selfish evil rich people to take care of poor welfare recipients like his mom and sister.

So you can imagine how shocked I was when Irv expressed his excitement about Trump becoming president. Irv said, “Trump is gonna clean this mess up!” This tells me that Trump has a remarkable connection with folks in both parties.

Even the Left's standard tactic of branding everyone who is not liberal a racist has not really worked on Trump. Numerous black and Hispanic groups enthusiastically support Trump.

Trump pretty much owns the evangelical vote. At the GOP convention, Dr Ben Carson exposed the fact that Hillary's hero is Saul Alinsky who is a huge fan of Lucifer. Liberal media went nuts. They hate it whenever anyone dares to expose the truth about them and their agenda.

Republican turnout during the primaries far exceeded the democrat turnout. Yes, something unprecedented is fueling the Trump phenomenon.

To keep my blood sugar numbers good, I daily use an aerobic machine at my local gym. The gym has 20 TV sets hanging from the ceiling. Amazingly, Trump is consistently either the topic of discussion or being interviewed on at least five of those TV sets. No politician has ever enjoyed such free coverage.

Trump's TV show has been on 14 years. Talk about name recognition, I suspect millions more people know Trump than know Hillary Clinton.

The FBI and DOJ giving Hillary a pass on blatantly jeopardizing our national security and breaking the law has some “Never Trump” people warming up to him. The same way the GOP and mainstream media allowed Obama to behave as king due to his race, they will allow Hillary to do the same due to her gender.

Our nation as founded cannot survive another lawless, out-of-control, corrupt and narcissistic dictator running our country. Hillary our Queen; we her supplicants.

Some have said they cannot morally vote for either presidential candidate. They say, “Voting for the lesser of two evils is still evil.” Fine. God forbid that I judge someone for voting their conscience. However, I submit that sometimes life does call for us to make unpleasant responsible choices; to choose the lesser evil.

Two evil masters seek to purchase the same slave. The slave's owner offers him the privilege to choose between the two evil new masters seeking to purchase him. One master is a tyrant. The other is a tyrant and a rapist; sure to rape the slave's wife and daughter.

Doesn't the slave have a moral obligation to his wife and daughter to choose the less evil master?

As I stated, my belief that Trump will win is not scientific. It is based on three simple facts. The guy has huge name recognition. He has a unique connection with regular folks. Voters are not up for a third term of Obama channeled through Hillary.

In this bizarre-o political season, those three reasons just might be enough to land Trump the Oval Office.

The haters guide to Hillary

A woman holds pictures of Donald Trump and
Hillary Clinton in Cleveland, Ohio, July 20.
If it was said once during the Republican National Convention, it was said a thousand times: The only thing that unites the GOP is its hatred for Hillary Clinton.

A chasm separates the party's pro- and anti-Trump camps, the outward-looking Reaganites from the build-a-wall isolationists, the "Lyin' Ted" Cruz attackers from the "Lion Ted" Cruz admirers. But they all agree that they loathe Clinton. And that leaves liberals dumbfounded.

MSNBC anchor Chris Matthews, broadcasting from the convention on Tuesday, was aghast at what he called "this festival of hating Hillary"; when Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey roused the crowd with an indictment laying out Clinton's record of malfeasance, Matthews sputtered that the "bloodthirsty" delegates were just waiting for Christie to say: 'Kill her now.'"

A day later, Time magazine's story out of Cleveland was headlined: "Hillary Clinton Hatred Remains Unifying Theme of Third GOP Convention Night." That was the word from The Atlantic as well: "'Lock Her Up': How Hillary Hatred Is Unifying Republicans."

Something tells me that at the upcoming Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, the cup of Trump hatred will overflow. Something also tells me that Matthews and Co. will not grow nearly as perturbed when speaker after speaker gives voice to the party's hostility toward the GOP nominee, or when delegates liken Donald Trump to Nazis and Klansmen. After all, it's hard to see anything wrong with hating a candidate when you hate him too.

Admittedly, Trump is odious. He is a crude and ignorant bully, a braggart and a liar, a stoker of grievances, bigotry, and ethnic resentment. I am firmly in the #NeverTrump camp, and will not be surprised if the DNC becomes a "festival of hating Trump." There are compelling reasons to loathe Trump, and in the hothouse atmosphere of partisan politics, loathing frequently evolves into hatred.

But there are compelling reasons to loathe Clinton, too, even if an awful lot of liberals cannot or will not acknowledge them.

The former first lady and secretary of state is at least as unprincipled as Trump, willing to say or do virtually anything in the pursuit of power and wealth. Like other politicians, Clinton's stands on controversial public issues have flipped and flopped, invariably putting her on whichever side has grown more popular:
She's been for expanding free trade and against it, for same-sex marriage and against it, for the Iraq war and against it, for more gun control and against it, for a crackdown on illegal immigrants and against it, for the trade embargo on Cuba and against it, for the ethanol mandate and against it — the list goes on and on.
Trump and Clinton both hunger for money, but only Clinton appears to have exploited the levers of US foreign policy for the enrichment of her family. By now the evidence is overwhelming that the Clinton Foundation has been used to extract millions of dollars from foreign governments, corporations, or financiers.

The whiff of quid pro quo — financial deals with Bill and Hillary Clinton in exchange for diplomatic access or government approvals — has at times been overpowering. In his 2015 book "Clinton Cash," the Hoover Institution's Peter Schweitzer describes numerous cases that fail the smell test.

The scope and extent of the payments made by foreign entities to the Clintons, whether as donations to the family foundation or paid in speaking fees, he writes, "are without precedent in American politics."

The late New York Times columnist William Safire long ago called Hillary Clinton a "congenital liar." Examples have proliferated throughout her career, with the congeries of lies about her private e-mail server only the most recent.

Two devastating reports on Clinton's e-mail practices — one by the State Department's inspector general, the other by FBI Director James Comey — methodically shredded every claim she had made in defense of her behavior. Clinton has no more reverence for the truth than Trump.

NBC's Brian Williams lost his job for concocting a self-aggrandizing falsehood about coming under fire in an Iraqi war zone. Clinton concocted a similar falsehood about "landing under sniper fire" in Bosnia and having to run "with our heads down" to safety.

It was a tale invented out of whole cloth, as news footage of the event confirms. It may not trouble Clinton acolytes, but it is one more data point in a long dossier of deceit that has convinced so many Americans she cannot be trusted.

Though Hillary Clinton privately acknowledged that the massacre of US personnel
in Benghazi was unrelated to an obscure YouTube video, she brazenly
maintained otherwise in conversation with the father of slain Navy
SEAL Tyrone Woods. As Charles Woods wrote in his notebook
at the time, Clinton vowed "to have the filmmaker arrested
who was responsible."
Clinton, like Trump, attacks even honest critics without compunction. When she (or her husband) is caught doing something wrong, her instinctive response is to accuse her accusers of hating her. (Sound familiar?)

In 1998, amid reports of Bill Clinton's Oval Office trysts with a young intern, Hillary told a TV interviewer that it was all a smear by the "vast right-wing conspiracy" that had always opposed the Clintons. That is still her go-to excuse.

Both Trump and Clinton can be cruel. But whereas his cruelty is that of schoolyard bully mocking a weaker or less popular kid, hers stems from a determination to bulldoze anyone or anything that stands between her and power.

What I still find most jaw-dropping about Clinton's Benghazi performance is not the calamitous failure of security at the compound in Libya, but the shameless and repeated claim that an obscure YouTube video was the proximate cause of the violence.

Within hours of the attack, we now know, Clinton had e-mailed her daughter and called Libya's president to say that the attack in Benghazi was a planned Islamist terror operation, for which "an al-Qaeda-like group" had claimed responsibility. Yet days later she brazenly told the father of slain Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods that the YouTube video was to blame.

"We are going to have the filmmaker arrested who was responsible," she said to Charles Woods. Even Trump might flinch from such cold and ruthless duplicity.

To be clear, I don't hate Hillary Clinton. I don't hate Donald Trump. But I do find them both to be indecent and unworthy, graspers of low character whose rise to political eminence is a terrible reflection on the Republican and Democratic parties. Neither deserves a vote for president.

They certainly won't get mine.
