Wannabe socialists turn irate when you call them out on their hypocrisy. When I point out obvious examples of socialist and far-left hypocrisy, I typically receive a litany of angry tweets and emails in response containing some of the most colorful expletives imaginable. I rarely receive a substantive response which advances the dialogue.
This anger is easily explainable when you use a modicum of reason and common sense. Faux-socialists and far-left radicals outwardly express their anger at others because they are quietly angry at themselves. They are angry at themselves because their lives are ideologically inauthentic.
I noticed this phenomenon again this weekend after seeing a tweet from a New York Times reporter which included a photograph of the menu aboard Bernie Sanders's privately-chartered plane for their nine hour flight home from the Vatican.
The menu had offerings such as "herb crusted lamb loins with braised endives" and "fattoush salad with grilled chicken, pita chips and a lemon wedge." I don't know what your personal financial situation is, but I know mine and I know that we don't eat "lamb loins" for dinner in my house. To be clear, I have no issue with people earning a decent living and eating lamb loins or endives (I don't even know what endives are and I have no problem whatsoever telling you that).
However, I do have a real problem with fraudulent class-warfare specialists, phony-socialists and disingenuous far-left radicals who have dedicated their entire lives to lecturing everyone else about what they "need" and don't need, while living decadent lives that even upper-middle class Americans would envy . .
