Whether intended or not, an Ohio woman dropped two lines during an exchange with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton that sum up many of the problems the Democratic party currently has with the American public.
Teresa O’Donnell of Powell, Ohio, told the Democratic presidential candidate during Sunday evening’s CNN Democratic Town Hall that she:
“…would like to vote Democratic, but it has cost me a lot of money.
And I’m just wondering if Democrats really realize how difficult it has been on working-class Americans to finance Obamacare.”O’Donnell, who voted in the past for President Obama, went on to note that in the two years since the Affordable Care Act became law, her family’s monthly premium rate has “skyrocketed” from $490 a month to $1,080.
