Yesterday was Martin Luther King day. Most people have heard Dr. King’s famous “I have a dream” speech. Perhaps the most important line in that speech was where he said he dreamed of an America where people are judged by the content of their character, not the color of their skin.
That dream to a certain extent had been fulfilled before Barack Obama. Now we have a racist America.
How is that possible?
The hard left has opened the door to the new racism in America. The irony is, those who are now being attacked because of their race are white. The white establishment controlled America and changed America to live up to the ideals of our founding fathers.
But the left does not want equality. The left wants to rip the nation to shreds and replace it with a socialist nightmare. Instead of making America a united nation, where we are all Americans. Instead, for the left, race is a great way to rip the nation apart.
In Denver, a professor and two graduate students penned a screed attacking an email about the Paris attacks because it contributed to the “valorization of white life.”
In Oregon, Portland Community College is having a “Whiteness History Month.” It is not talking about the great things people who happened to be white have done. Portland Community College is demonizing people because of the color of their skin.
The hard left has made a division in America between “people of color” and white people. Whites are the evil ones. Whites are the one’s judged by the color of their skin, not the content of their character.
The new racism is code named “diversity.” The left tries to preach diversity as a virtue. It is the same old sin of racism with a new wrapping.
In New York City, two doctors who had worked part time with the New York Fire Department applied for a full time position with the NYFD. They had 30 years experience, each and board certifications the NYFD wanted.
But they were white. In the name of diversity, the NYFD hired a black doctor, recently out of med school, who lacked the required board certifications.
Today, if a white cop kills a black criminal, the cop is automatically racist and must be prosecuted simply because he is a white cop. The left ignores the fact that the criminal did something to get himself killed. Michael Brown is the best example of that.
He was a thug, who robbed a store in the last minutes of his life, then attacked a cop. Brown tried to take the officer’s gun, hit the officer repeatedly then when told to stop, instead of stopping or even fleeing, he turned and charged the cop.
Brown had a long juvenile criminal record but none of that matters to the left. Unfortunately, in America today, we have the hard left that judges people by the color of their skin and not the content of their character.
Until America turns and totally destroys these racists, Martin Luther King’s dream will remain just that ---- 'A Dream.'
