Actually the hard left believed him and he has been working hard to do just that.
In some areas, he has been able to forge a bizarre alliance with big business and crony capitalists to help his fundamental transformation. Obama’s transformation has erased our southern border. So what does Obama do with all of those Border Patrol agents who should be protecting our southern border?

Pinal County, AZ Sheriff Paul Babeu reported that Border Patrol agents are making birthday cakes for the unaccompanied minors in their facilities at the same time that drug smugglers who have been deported multiple times keep re-entering the United States on Thursday’s “Your World with Neil Cavuto” on the Fox News Channel.
Babeu stated “I can give you a window into this administration because just a month ago, while all this was going on, we heard, myself and countless sheriffs in Fort Worth, Texas, heard Director -- he told us a story how wonderful it was these Border Patrol agents, federal law enforcement, had a birthday cake for this 13-year-old Honduran, and he’s never had a cake, and I was unglued. I called him on that, and said, ‘how on earth have we arrived at this point where it's become the job of our Border Patrol agents, who their sole purpose should be to protect our country and secure our border, is to do what you just said to have a birthday cake for a 13-year-old Honduran?’”
“We had drug smugglers that we arrested, and one of them was confirmed to have been deported 16 prior times, and now this is the 17th time, and guess what? We don't catch them every time” he added.
I don’t care if this kid ever gets a birthday cake. I’m a lot more concerned about American kids having a future.
While Obama has the Border Patrol making birthday cakes for illegal aliens, what is going on at the border? More people are slipping through. More drugs are coming across the border.
And if you do not believe terrorists have crossed the border, then you are probably an Obama voter.
