See the movie "Climate Hustle"

Be sure to see this movie Monday, May 2 – during its one-night nationwide engagement.

Without presenting it to the US Senate, as required by the Constitution, President Obama has signed the Paris climate treaty. He is already using it to further obligate the United States to slash its fossil fuel use, carbon dioxide emissions and economic growth … control our lives, livelihoods, living standards and liberties … and redistribute our wealth. Poor, minority and working class families will suffer most.

China, India and other developing economies are under no such obligation, unless and until it is in their interest to do so. For them, compliance is voluntary – and they cannot afford to eliminate the fossil fuels that supply 85% of all global energy, generate some 90% of developing nations’ electricity, and will lift billions of people out of abject poverty.

That’s why these countries have built over 1,000 coal-fired power plants and are planning to build 2,300 more – while unaccountable EPA bureaucrats are shutting down US coal-fired generators, and getting ready to block natural gas production and use.

What if the entire foundation for this energy and economic insanity were erroneous, groundless, fabricated . . . a climate con job – a Climate Hustle? That is exactly what CFACT’s new movie demonstrates is actually going on.

Climate Hustle is the perfect antidote to the destructive, demoralizing climate alarmism that dominates political decisions and obsesses the Obama White House and EPA. You owe it to yourself to see it. It’s coming to a theater near you on Monday, May 2, for a special one-night engagement.

I saw Climate Hustle April 14, at its U.S. premiere on Capitol Hill in Washington. The film is informative and entertaining, pointed and humorous. As meteorologist Anthony Watts says, it is wickedly effective in its using slapstick humor and the words and deeds of climate alarmists to make you laugh at them.

It examines the science on both sides of the issue . . . presents often hilarious planetary Armageddon prophecies of Al Gore, Leonard Nimoy and others . . . and lets 30 scientists and other experts expose the climate scares and scams, explain Real World climate science, and delve deeply into the politics and media hype that have surrounded this issue since it was first concocted several decades ago.

Sizzling temperatures. Melting ice caps. Destructive hurricanes, tornadoes, floods and droughts. Disappearing polar bears. The end of civilization as we know it! The end of Planet Earth!

Emissions from our power plants, cars, factories and farms are causing catastrophic climate change! Or are they? Is there really a “97% scientific consensus” on this? Or is “dangerous manmade climate change” merely the greatest overheated environmentalist con-job and shell game ever devised to advance the Big Green anti-energy agenda?

See this amazing film on May 2, and find out for yourself. To learn where it’s showing near you, and to buy tickets, visit www.ClimateHustle.com. You’ll be glad you did.

Climate Hustle is hosted by award-winning investigative journalist Marc Morano. A former communications director for the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, Morano is publisher of CFACT’s ClimateDepot.com.

The film is a production of the Committee For A Constructive Tomorrow (CFACT) and CDR Communications. See the movie. Bring your friends. Make it a party. www.ClimateHustle.com

Hospital's Kremlin-Like Secrecy Suffers Breach

Last week I wrote about the failure of Obamacare to reduce the number of uninsured. Today’s number of uninsured is about the same as it was before Democrats passed Obamacare. The only difference now is being uninsured is no longer synonymous with low income.

Democrats are spreading the pain!

Obamacare policies are so expensive and the deductibles so high that middle–income families are dropping their coverage.

If you missed last week’s column or just want to refresh your memory, please click here.

Health insurance is expensive because government at all levels — federal, state and local — interferes with the market’s price–setting mechanism and consequently consumers are not in the least cost conscious.

The analogy you’re probably most familiar with is the comparison between health insurance and car insurance. Experts point out car insurance is there to cover major expenses and emergencies and that’s why Jiffy Lube doesn’t send the oil change bill to Travelers.

If it did you would be choosing between paying for your car insurance and your child’s college tuition. The analogy is good in other ways, or as the tech types say: It’s scalable. Car insurance/health insurance can also produce a comparison in the area where the real cost pressure originates — the hospital.

As a matter of fact, if car crash repair worked that same way hospital stays, no one could afford ObamaRepair, either.

So where am I going with this analogy? Why, to enlightenment! See for yourself by clicking on this magic Newsmax hyperlink to read the rest of the column.

Will California declare war on baseball next?

After decades of unchecked illegal immigration and liberal policies, conservatives are in a distinct minority in California. It is most definitely the case in the California Assembly.

On Thursday, state lawmakers rejected a harmless resolution to honor legendary actor John Wayne, a native son of California. Wayne grew up in Glendale, California and later became a beloved actor known for his tough guy roles in dozens of popular movies. In fact, he won an Oscar for his performance in “True Grit.”

Wayne was an American hero who loved his country and was not ashamed to express his patriotism.

However, Wayne critics pointed to his participation with the John Birch Society, his support of the House Un-American Activities Committee and his controversial comments about race in a 1971 Playboy Magazine interview. In the interview, Wayne stated “I believe in white supremacy until the blacks are educated to a point of responsibility. I don't believe in giving authority and positions of leadership and judgment to irresponsible people.”

In a free society, actors and other Americans should be allowed to affiliate with lawful organizations and congressional committees. Although his comments about African Americans were offensive, it is worth noting that they were made in 1971.

This controversy clearly shows that Wayne is being held to a different standard from other deceased public figures who were liberals. For example, the involvement of West Virginia Senator Robert Byrd with the KKK did not prevent Democrats from electing him to leadership positions in the U.S. Senate.

In addition, Byrd’s name is on countless buildings and public work projects in his home state. By the way, it is quite unlikely that politically correct Democrats will expunge his name from any of these positions of honor.

Beloved Democrat Presidents such as Harry Truman, who was also a member of the KKK, and Lyndon B. Johnson made very offensive comments about African Americans, using the “N” word. President Franklin D. Roosevelt sent 120,000 innocent Japanese Americans, mostly U.S. citizens, to internment camps during World War II. Despite these controversies, Democrats continue to honor the legacies of these three flawed and politically incorrect presidents.

Wayne is different for California lawmakers for one major reason, he was a conservative. In 1966, he cut commercials for fellow actor Ronald Reagan when he ran for Governor of California. He also supported Reagan when he ran against Gerald Ford for the Republican presidential nomination in 1976.

Liberals have long memories about conservatives, yet have amnesia about fellow Democrats. In the case of Wayne, his incredible career is very worthy of being honored. He stood for American values and definitely loved his country. In fact, after his death from cancer, his family established a foundation to fight this dreaded disease.

The resolution to declare the actor’s birthday, May 26, 2016, as “John Wayne Day” was introduced by Assemblyman Matthew Harper. He represents a district that includes a large airport named after Wayne. All visitors to the airport are welcomed by a nine-foot statue of Wayne.

Harper was stunned that his resolution was defeated by a vote of 35-20, noting that it represented “the orthodoxy of political correctness.” According to Harper, “opposing the John Wayne Day resolution is like opposing apple pie, fireworks, baseball, the Free Enterprise system and the Fourth of July.”

Well said, Assemblyman Harper; however, we are living in a new America. In the America of 2016, U.S. Presidents such as George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson are villains, not heroes, because they owned slaves. This was one of the reasons that just last week, Jackson’s image was removed from the front of the $20 bill.

This attitude was represented in the California Assembly debate by Democrat Luis Alejo, who objected to honoring Wayne because “he had disturbing views towards race." Not surprisingly, Alejo neglected to mention that Wayne had close ties with many African Americans in the film industry and that all three of his wives were of Hispanic descent. It’s hard to believe a racist would have made such personal choices.

Regardless of Wayne’s overall views about race, it is patently unfair to judge our celebrities or politicians of yesteryear by today’s moral values. It seems liberals understand these obvious truths regarding their heroes, but conservatives such as John Wayne are judged by a more rigorous and unforgiving standard.

Get ready America, liberals are on the rampage. All of our heroes and pastimes will be re-examined through a politically correct lens.

Watch out, baseball may be the next target. It seems players only use a white ball; no other colors are allowed. Can you say racist?

Growth Anemia: Collapse in Business Investment

Click Here to Visit Larry Kudlow at Kudlow and Company

GDP for the first quarter of 2016 came in at a paltry one-half of one-percent. That sorry showing follows growth of 1.4 percent and 2 percent in the previous two quarters. If such a thing is possible, the already anemic economy is actually getting worse.

But even worse than that, the latest GDP numbers reveal a collapse in business investment, the real driver of the economy.

When businesses don’t spend and invest, they don’t hire and cannot offer better-paying jobs. Business investment and wages are two sides of the same mirror. If a company purchases five trucks rather than ten, there are five fewer trucking jobs. If employers don’t invest in more computers, there are fewer programming jobs. If businesses don’t purchase more jackhammers and cranes, fewer construction workers are hired.

Business investment hasn’t grown for two years. Over the past two quarters, total business fixed investment has fallen by an annualized average of 4 percent. Business equipment and software has dropped by more than 5 percent. Non-residential structures -- like commercial office space, shopping malls, factories, and hotels -- have dropped by nearly 8 percent.

But let’s go further back. For the entire 32-quarter economic recovery, business fixed investment has averaged just 1.1 percent at an annual rate. Since 1960, however, business fixed investment has averaged 4.4 percent at an annual rate. So the present expansion in business investment is roughly one-quarter of the 55-year average.

Why? One key factor is tax policy, especially business tax policy.

At 40 percent for combined federal and state business tax rates, the U.S. has the largest corporate tax burden in the developed world. We double-tax corporate profits earned overseas, as virtually no other country does. Our depreciation rates for investment tax expensing are among the worst in the world. And despite all the talk about corporate tax reform, nothing gets done -- even under a Republican Congress.

What’s more, the Obama administration has raised tax rates on capital gains, dividends, and income (paid by small-business pass-throughs). So, as the tax cost of capital has gone up, business investment has come down.

Arthur Laffer has taught us that “if you tax something, you get less of it.” That’s why firms are moving offshore in droves. It’s not about being unpatriotic. It’s that it doesn’t pay, after-tax, to invest in the United States.

A second key reason for the business-investment slump is monetary policy. While this may not be the right time for rate hikes, ultra-low interest rates have led to financial engineering rather than the deployment of excess corporate cash for productivity-enhancing investment.

Rather than invest in job-creation and higher wages, firms are buying back stocks to boost price-earnings ratios. In many cases, they are even borrowing money they don’t need to buy back stocks.

A third key reason for the business-investment collapse is over-regulation. Obamacare rules and mandates are job-killers. Dodd-Frank red-tape costs have held back lending to such an extent that business start-ups have practically come to a halt. And community banks have drastically pulled back loans to existing small businesses.

Then we have the Obama EPA’s new rules, which amount to a war on fossil fuel. The president pushes for climate-change regulations instead of a massive build-out of energy infrastructure, including pipelines, liquid-natural-gas terminals, and new refineries.

Want more manufacturing? The energy business, and the potential for North American energy independence, is the key. Hillary Clinton, and her promise to end oil and gas fracking, will pull us further in the wrong direction.

Many people do not to understand that business investment is a critical prosperity-booster, leading to more jobs, higher wages, and stronger family income. Put another way, rising tax and regulatory burdens that penalize investors and businesses also punish middle-income wage earners.

And it’s these wage earners who would benefit most from business tax reforms, such as a 15 percent corporate rate for large C-corps and small S-corps. This should be accompanied by immediate tax-deduction expensing for new investment and a territorial tax regime that would stop double-taxing profits earned abroad.

Study after study shows that corporate tax reform is a middle-class tax cut, not a tax cut for the rich. You see, corporations don’t really pay taxes. They simply collect them and pass the cost along in the form of lower wages and benefits, higher consumer prices, and reduced shareholder value.

The overarching theme of this election is an angry revolt by the middle class over the fact that jobs and wages have barely increased in the past decade. They blame Washington, China, immigration, power elites, and almost everything else. So be it. There is a lot of work to be done on all these fronts. But without radical tax, regulatory, and currency reform, business investment will never fully recover.

And neither will the economy.

NC State tries to muzzle Jesus talk

Want to talk about Jesus? You’ll need a permit for that at NC State

A permit is required before students can talk about Jesus at North Carolina State University, according to a lawsuit filed in federal court.

Grace Christian Life, a registered student group at NC State, filed suit over a policy requiring a permit for any kind of student speech or communication anywhere on campus – including religious speech.

In September 2015, the student group was told that without a permit, they must stop approaching other students inside the student union to engage in religious discussions or invite them to attend group events.

“It’s an amazingly broad speech restriction, Alliance Defending Freedom attorney Tyson Langhofer told me. “Public universities are supposed to be the marketplace of ideas, not places where students need a permit just to exercise their constitutionally protected freedoms.”

Alliance Defending Freedom is a law firm that specializes in religious liberty cases. They allege the Christian group has been singled out by the university.

The University has not restricted the ability of other students and student groups to engage in expressive activity,” the lawsuit states. “Grace has witnessed other students, student groups and off-campus groups handing out literature either without a permit or outside of the area reserved by their table permit.”

A university spokesperson did not return my calls seeking comment.

NC State’s rules were so draconian that the Christians were not even allowed to step from behind their table in - click here to read the rest of the story.

A Great American Health Hoax?

Available on Amazon
Is there a health hoax happening in the U.S.? It is according to Raymond Francis author of “Never Be Sick Again” and his latest book “The Great American Health Hoax.” He claims healthcare in America is pretending to be something it is not.

He added on POPPOFF that the definition of healthcare is the maintenance or restoration of health. But our healthcare system is not about maintaining or restoring health…it’s about managing the symptoms of disease.

This is disease-care, not healthcare. In addition to the possibility of a hoax, he claims it is threatening to bankrupt the United States with an aging population…10,000 people retiring daily and we have promised to pay for their healthcare.

There won’t be enough young people working to cover the costs. But he thinks there is a way out of this economic mess. Choose health! All the debate so far is about how to save a dime here and a dollar there, but it won’t work.

We need to change the terms of the debate to how to prevent disease. We need to teach people how to choose health…no disease, no costs. Unfortunately, health is a choice not yet chosen.

So, it is possible to choose health? Yes, says Francis. The science is there. We already know how to prevent and reverse almost all disease. We have to put to use what we already know. Raymond Francis is a chemist and MIT graduate and has spent sufficient time around chemicals.

So when plagued with a chemical sensitivity as a result of his acute chemical hepatitis, he knew he had to do something to save his life and fast!

The first step - - identify the root of the problem. It was here he discovered that these issues derive from the significant changes in lifestyle, diet, and environment that have occurred over the past hundred years.

Many advances have been made, but not all of them are beneficial to our bodies and their delicate chemistry. Harmful toxins can be found in a myriad of places besides prescription drugs like carpets, cookware, building materials, even appliances.

Now it’s all about diet, right? No, says Francis, it’s a very holistic approach to health with what he calls the Six Pathways to health and disease. You can get yourself moving toward health on all Six Pathways and you will remain biologically young, healthy and vigorous.

We do not know all of the many factors that can be affecting your health, which is why using all six at the same time is important. They are:
1) NUTRITION
2) TOXIN
3) MENTAL
4) PHYSICAL
5) GENETIC
6) MEDICAL
I don’t have enough time to tackle them all, but I was curious if there were any foods we should not eat. He said, yes. Get off processed foods. The average American diet consists mostly of processed foods, and this diet will not support healthy life…even in rats.

In his book, he lists what he calls the Bad four. These are the four most dangerous foods people eat…sugar, wheat, processed oils, and milk and dairy products. He also told me on the air no corn, no soy or tofu either. Guess it has to do with GMOs.

You can check out all the other things we do to live an unhealthy life in “The Great American HEALTH HOAX (available on Amazon)” The Surprising Truth about How Modern Medicine Keeps You Sick. You can also check out his website www.BeyondHealth.com.

Stay well!

Meeting the threats of tomorrow

Meeting the threats of tomorrow requires new defense technologies by
Retired Major Paul E. Vallely and Drew Johnson
- story appeared in the Washington Examiner -

Over the course of America's great history, our military has expanded and evolved from an outgunned band of brave patriots to the strongest military force on Earth. These changes all reflected the need and threats of the day, as well as the will of the government and military leaders.

Sadly, that no longer appears to be the case.

The strength and quality of the United States' military is under attack. And, despite the growing threats America faces, some federal lawmakers seem unwilling to provide the military with the technology needed for success in today's dangerous global landscape — even when providing that technology would save taxpayers millions of dollars in the process.

Speaking to Congress last month, National Intelligence Director James Clapper issued a stark reminder: "Russia ... has the largest and most capable nuclear missile force." And distressingly, according to Clapper, Russia has developed a new ground-launched missile that breaks a 1987 nuclear weapons treaty.

Tensions between the United States and Russia are at a post-Cold War high. Yet America's defense systems haven't kept pace. Specifically, the U.S. military has failed to evolve its conventional long-range missile technologies, which are critical for countering a well-armed adversary like Russia and rogue nations like North Korea. Both these nations have considerable ground forces at their disposal that would attempt to overwhelm U.S. troops if a conflict ever took place.

Fortunately, the U.S. Army is working to create a new missile system that's up to the challenges posed by the current geopolitical environment. The military's brass must make sure this effort keeps moving forward.

The specific technology that is becoming obsolete is known as the Army Tactical Missile System, or ATACMS.

ATACMS are surface-launched missiles with a range of up to 168 miles. Usually mounted on track-and-wheeled vehicles, these missiles are presently the go-to alternative when airstrikes aren't possible. They're also essential in situations when our ground troops are outnumbered and face adversaries with long-range rocket and artillery systems of their own.

ATACMS played a key role in the 1991 Gulf War, helping to disable enemy air defenses and establish American air superiority. However, given our global enemies' rapidly evolving ground-launched capabilities — not to mention their potentially overwhelming ground armies that can strike from extended range — ATACMS is now dangerously out-of-date.

Military commanders are in wide agreement that the system simply isn't suitable for meeting mounting threats from Russia, North Korea, the Islamic State and elsewhere. As Army acquisition chief Heidi Shyu recently explained, the Army needs missiles with "much longer range than we have today."

In fact, the current system is so antiquated and overpriced that it's no longer in mass production for the U.S. Army. It's also incompatible with America's warfare commitments. This system was designed to deliver both individual bombs and cluster munitions, which are multiple small bombs. But, in response to the 2008 Oslo Treaty, the United States has promised to no longer use cluster munitions beginning in 2019.

And while the Army is in the process of upgrading those systems already in use, this life-extension effort is only a short-term fix. In the long-term, relying on our existing ATACMS capabilities is an exceptionally poor use of military funds. Consider that each of these legacy systems costs over $1.1 million. The per-unit cost of a new, cutting-edge system, on the other hand, would cost about 35 percent less.

Fortunately, the Army's senior leadership has recognized the value of building a brand-new, state-of-the-art long-range precision fire system. According to Marcia Holmes, chief engineer for the Army's Program Executive Office for Missiles and Space, the next-generation system would have a range of between 185 miles and 310 miles.

It would also support at least two on a single-wheeled launcher and as many as four missiles on the Army's tracked launcher vehicle, vastly improving our ability to launch multiple missiles from a single assembly. The current system can only launch one missile per wheeled launcher, severely limiting its target range.

These are precisely the kinds of capabilities needed to maintain America's tactical edge against increasingly belligerent countries like Russia and North Korea. And since developing such a system will actually cost less than patching up our existing ATACMS assets, there's little reason to wait.

ATACMS may have served America well in the recent past. But this outdated, expensive technology isn't up to the challenges we face today. The Army needs to build a long-range precision system that empowers our servicemen and women to defend our nation against the threats of tomorrow.

It is the only way the United States will remain the strongest military on Earth and the greatest force for peace the world has ever seen.

Brooks helps block pro-amnesty ammendments

HASC Blocks Pro-Amnesty Amendments from NDAA, Protects Military Service Opportunities for Americans

After an almost 17 hour hearing that ended at 2:30 this morning, the House Armed Services Committee passed the Fiscal Year 2017 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that authorizes all national defense programs. Once again, Democrat members of the committee sought to use the NDAA to take military service opportunities from Americans and lawful immigrants in order to give them to illegal aliens.

Alabama Congressman Mo Brooks (R) successfully worked with House Armed Services Committee (HASC) members to defeat two illegal alien amnesty amendments offered during the NDAA markup. The first amendment, submitted by Congressman Ruben Gallego (D-AZ), sought to help illegal aliens take military enlistment opportunities from Americans and lawful immigrants.

Armed Services Chairman Mac Thornberry (R-TX) introduced and successfully passed a substitute amendment upholding current law, thereby replacing and nullifying Rep. Gallego’s amendment. Congressman Brooks' remarks in opposition to the Gallego amendment may be accessed here.

The second amendment, offered by Congressman Marc Veasey (D-TX), sought to use tax dollars to conduct a study Rep. Veasey hoped would help DACA illegal aliens compete for and take West Point, Air Force Academy, Naval Academy, Coast Guard Academy, and Merchant Marine appointments and opportunities from Americans and lawful immigrants. Rep. Veasey's amendment was defeated by voice vote. Congressman Brooks' remarks in opposition to the Veasey amendment may be accessed here.

Alabama Congressman Brooks said, "I'm pleased Chairman Thornberry recognized the importance of prioritizing jobs for struggling American families and acknowledged current law as the standard for military recruitment practices, which rightfully places Americans first in the stiff competition for military service. The main issue here is national security and whether Americans and lawful immigrants are meeting America’s national security needs."

Brooks added, "Prior to the NDAA markup, I anticipated a move by pro-amnesty Democrats to take advantage of this process to promote illegal aliens over American citizens and lawful immigrants at the expense of American citizens who foot the bill for America's military and the military academies. It makes no sense to me that, at the same time the Army is downsizing and issuing pink slips, there are Congressmen who seek to help illegal aliens deprive American citizens and lawful immigrants of military service opportunities."

Brooks concluded, "Tonight, I asked my colleagues to consider that in 2015, every branch of the military – the Army, the Navy, the Air Force, the Marine Corps – met their recruiting and retention requirements . . . while turning away thousands of highly-qualified Americans and lawful immigrants. As there are a limited number of enlistment opportunities, each time Gallego’s amendment helps an illegal alien enlist, an American or lawful immigrant loses an enlistment opportunity.

The ratio is one-to-one. I want to give priority to Americans and lawful immigrants, so long as we have an abundance of qualified candidates who want to serve our country. I’m pleased a majority of the committee chose to stand up for the will of the American people."

Congressman Brooks always welcomes your comments - click HERE to contact him

List of Hillary Crimes Updated

With the revelation that the FBI has expanded its probe of Hillary Clinton to include 18USC§1001, the list of crimes that Hillary Clinton has potentially committed has now grown to include as many as 16 violations.

"When you hear they're expanding their investigation beyond a preliminary fact-finding, that's not good for her," Sean said to Former New York Mayor and Federal Prosecutor Rudy Giuliani on Thursday's Hannity. "Particularly the mention of 18 United States Code Section 1001," Giuliani added.

"That's a big statute. That's the statute Martha Stewart was indicted under and it makes it a crime to give a false statement, not just under oath, but a false statement, for example, to an FBI agent or an assistant U.S. Attorney."

If it comes to it, Giuliani also believes that Attorney General Loretta Lynch will indict Clinton. "She's a very straight woman," the former mayor declared whom he supported when she was first nominated. "This is a very fair woman, so I have a lot of confidence in her."

Here's the list as it currently stands.
  • 18USC§201 Bribery
  • 18USC§208 Acts Effecting A Personal Financial Interest (Includes Recommendations)
  • 18USC§371 Conspiracy 18USC§1001 False Statements 18USC§1341 Frauds And Swindles (Mail Fraud) 18USC§1343 Fraud By Wire
  • 18USC§1349 Attempt And Conspiracy (To Commit Fraud)
  • 18USC§1505 Obstruction Of Justice
  • 18USC§1519 Destruction (Alteration Or Falsification) Of Records In Federal Investigation
  • 18USC§1621 Perjury (Including Documents Signed Under Penalties Of Perjury)
  • 18USC§1905 Disclosure Of Confidential Information
  • 18USC§1924 Unauthorized Removal And Retention Of Classified Documents Or Material
  • 18USC§2071 Concealment (Removal Or Mutilation) Of Government Records
  • 18USC§7201 Attempt To Evade Or Defeat A Tax (Use Of Clinton Foundation Funds For Personal Or Political Purposes)
  • 18USC§7212 Attempts To Interfere With Administration Of Internal Revenue Laws (Call To IRS On Behalf Of UBS Not Turning Over Accounts To IRS)
Plus . . . . Hillary Clinton let 4 Americans Die in Benghazi and everyone knows it.

Liberals and the bathroom stigma

I am often asked, "Why are liberals doing this?" The "this" changes with each new legislative assault on our liberties. The latest far-left priority I've been inundated with questions on is their bizarre quest to allow biological males into women's restrooms and vice versa.

It's critically important to understand the motivations behind the activist Left's push for these "bathroom bills" because the strategy they are using to achieve their goals are wash, rinse, and repeat. They have recycled this game plan again and again and until we understand it, we can't effectively combat it.

Step One: Fabricate a "Cause" to Fight for Question: was there some massive public policy problem and corresponding public outcry for biological men to be able to use the women's restroom a decade ago? What about two decades ago?

Does anyone remember the media exposé on the crisis of transgender bathroom access in the 80's or 90's, or even a few years ago? Of course you don't, because there was no crisis.

There was a tacit, communal rapprochement where the transgendered community did what they did in the restroom best suiting their physical appearance, and we pretended not to notice (although I'm sure many of us never noticed anything at all).

The same basic, unspoken, rules of dignity applied to the transgendered community as they did to everyone else-they did their business in the restroom, we did ours and we both left the facility happily ever after.

This peaceful coexistence has been the status quo for our entire history and yet, just now, the increasingly hostile far-left has detected an explosion of transgendered bathroom bigotry in the country that MUST be solved by government force? Of course they haven't.

The Left is simply running out of ways to stigmatize and demoralize their political opponents in an increasingly welcoming and ideologically open country, and in order to stoke the flames of division and hatred they have to invent new cases of systemic "discrimination."

Make no mistake regardless of the outcome of these bathroom access wars, there is another war right around the corner. Enough is never enough for the far-left and while the prospect of jailing catholic priests for refusing to perform gay weddings appears hyperbolic today, it can become the next stop on their never-ending . . . read more here

A Bernie-Rubble Campaign?

Grab that Morning Coofe, Click Here and Check Out Branco Online

Okay, I’m hyperventilating. Tony combines beautiful drawings with biting politically incorrect wit and laugh out loud humor.” – Larry Elder – TV and Radio personality at at Fox News and KRLM AM 870

Lighten things up! Political discussions and debates don’t always have to be deep and long-winded arguments with points and counter points. Sometimes we just need to take a step back from it all and have a good laugh. With so many discouraging things happening in our country lately, that’s the only thing we can do to keep from crying.

Conservative artist Antonio Branco is a master at encapsulating deep and complex issues in a simple comic.

He has written his first book in a series and takes on a wide array of issues, from food stamps to global warming to foreign policy, Antonio isn’t afraid to say what he thinks.

Presented in a coffee table book style, this is the perfect conversation starter with friends and family that pick it up and start glancing through it’s pages.

Who knows, that liberal aunt of yours just might come over to the right side because of this book!

This 80 pages, hardcover comic measures 8″ x 10".

Congressman Palazzo says reach for the stars

Last week Stennis Space Center celebrated 50 years of rocket testing in support of America’s space program!

On April 23, 1966 a group of NASA engineers and operators met in a small concrete building in rural South Mississippi to make final adjustments in preparation to test the first Saturn V rocket stage. That small concrete building would later grow to become Stennis Space Center, the largest rocket engine test site in the nation.

On that day, 50 years ago, South Mississippi was launched into the Space Age, and the United States was one step closer to putting a man on the moon. From that day forward, space exploration is forever linked to South Mississippi and to Stennis Space Center. Werner von Braun, then-director of NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center and architect of early U.S. space exploration efforts, said it best when he commented that we may “not know yet what method we will use to get to the moon, but [we] do know that we have to go through Mississippi to get there.”

In the five decades of excellence in supporting America’s space program that followed, no mission, including both the Apollo and Space Shuttle Programs, has ever failed as a result of a malfunction in a Stennis-tested engine. After 135 space shuttle missions and a variety of commercial engine testing, Stennis is now preparing for the upcoming tests to support and enable America's historic return to deep space.

As a freshman member of Congress I was given the rare honor of serving as Chairman of the Space Subcommittee. Throughout my four years as Chairman I proudly worked with NASA administrators and my colleagues on the committee to uphold and sustain our American Space Program. Most importantly, I worked to ensure that we continued to make smart federal investments in Stennis Space Center. Now, as a member of the Commerce, Justice and Science Appropriations Subcommittee and Co-Chairman of the Aerospace Caucus I’m proud to continue championing Stennis Space Center, their accomplishments, and many future successes.

As we look at the future and the next 50 years of space exploration and NASA missions, we know one thing is certain: to get to space, you have to go through Mississippi.

6 Years After Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill

Last Wednesday marked 6 years since the Deepwater Horizon oil spill took place. All of you know how devastated South Mississippi was in 2010 after the worst manmade disaster in American history washed up on our shores. We have much to reflect on since that day.

Earlier this month, we closed the final chapter in the BP oil spill when the Gulf States and BP finalized the settlement, and we can finally start investing in our environmental restoration and economic recovery. Most importantly, on this day we honor the memory of those who lost their lives in the explosion, especially our fellow Mississippians, and continue to lend our thoughts and prayers to their family members.
